The Admin handed Rex a handful of documents. Each one was a boy or girl ranked highly in Digimon V-Pet and card tournaments. He shuffled through them, giving each a cursory inspection. "So, these are the new hands you mean to recruit?" asked Rex.

The Admin nodded. "We've been monitoring them," she confirmed. "The D-League website isn't just a way to keep people in the loop about rankings." She sat back. "If they also create an account and register at matches, we can also track their IP addresses and such."

"Taking them away won't araise suspicion, will it...?" Rex bit the inside of his cheek, a nervous habit. Agumon elbowed his partner's knee.

"You've been with us for six months," he chided. "You oughtta know that time works differently in the Digital World. Nobody will miss them." He tapped his chin with a claw. "Well, assumin', y'know, they don't die."

"And they won't," the Admin assured. "The meeting place is the Knights' Keep, and with the Royal Knights there, none woild dare attack."

Rex took a breath. "Okay," he said. The young man tapped commands into the touch screen of his D-Bracer, and Agumon was converted to data, and stored in the Digivice. "Thry're all online now?" A nod from the Admin. "Then let's get this done."

Admin turned her screen. By holding the D-Bracer next to the screen, the portal opened, and he was sucked into the Digital World.

The Admin read over the email one more time:

It went on with legalities. The [USER] tag would be filled in with their respective usernames that they provided for the D-League messaging service. It was necessary to add them, since the D-League was technically a business trying to make money and avoid legal fees. An automated program was attached to it, and if that link was clicked...

She took a breath and clicked [SEND]. If they chose to accept this, they wouldn't be kids playing with V-Pets... they would be Tamers protecting the two worlds, just as she had done when she was younger.
