|| MORE IN-DEPTH APPEARANCE ||"Well, I'd say I'm pretty tall. I'm a little taller than my brother and I know he's pretty tall too. I like to dress pretty well, but I wouldn't put myself in anything that's stiff or uncomfortable, you know? I have a scar on my left arm that I got when I fell off some, uh, what are they in English? Oh yeah, monkey bars. I got the scar when I fell off some monkey bars when I was 7. I can usually style get my hair how I want it most days, unless I slept on it really strangely in the night. I don't know how handsome others think I am, but I guess we'll see what they say."
Getting a Little More In-Depth
|| PERSONALITY TRAITS ||"I'd say I am..
-Outgoing
-Extroverted
-Friendly
-Popular (does that count?)
-Talkative"
|| PERSONALITY ||"Well, if you want to go deeper into my personality, I like to make friends and meet new people and that's why I feel like I'm outgoing, I guess. I like talking to people a lot, I really hate awkward silences. I try and be nice to people, but if they're not nice to me then I don't think there's any need for me to be all happy and friendly to them. Is anyone else here? No? Good, because the next bit is a little personal. I try to be friendly and outgoing, but I really do worry about what people think of me. I guess you could say I'm pretty insecure too.
|| QUIRKS ||"Well, I....
-I still don't know English 100%, so some phrases will go over my head
-As you can hear, I do speak with a strong accent
-I will break out in fast Croatian swearing when I get angry
-I love Indian food to pieces
|| HOBBIES ||"I like to....
-Watch and play football (what you Americans call soccer)
-I love watching movies
-I like to talk with my friends over Skype and Discord
-I like to play Steam games occasionally
|| LIKES & DISLIKES ||"My likes are Lokomotiva Zagreb (the football team for those who don't know), talking to people, Garry's Mod, Marvel Movies and Imagine Dragons.
I dislike awkward silences, American Football, Dynamo Zagreb and Call of Duty."
|| FAMILY MEMBERS ||"Well first of all, there's my twin brother, Dominik. He can be quite distant at times. We don't really share the same interests or attitudes at all, but we get on pretty well for siblings. Then there's just my mother and father. My mother is a very kind person and I rarely argue with her. She works at a pharmacy downtown. My father works for a betting company. I love my father, so he can also be quite distant at times. Despite it, I'd say we're a pretty happy family."
|| HOUSE DESCRIPTION ||"I live in your normal American house. 3 bedrooms. We only have 1 bathroom though, which can get pretty mad in the morning when everyone wants to use it at the same time. Our garden is pretty small to be fair. The WiFi in our house is also really spotty. I'd say I prefer the place that I grew up in in Dubrovnik over the one we live in now.
|| CAR DESCRIPTION ||"I wish I had a car...."
|| BIOGRAPHY ||"Well, I grew up in Dubrovnik, which is a seaside town in Croatia, which in turn is a country in Europe. Dubrovnik is such a lovely place, I want to move back there when I get older. Anyway, both my parents lived through the Croatian War of Independence, and the whole conflict with Yugoslavia, so I remember them acting pretty shaken about it when I was younger. However, they seem to have gotten over it, and will sometimes tell me and Dominik stories of the war. It doesn't sound like a pretty or happy war at all. Anyway, my parents both owned a small restaurant in Dubrovnik, and me and my brother grew up in the huge apartment above it. It was so cosy and pretty, and it was in one of the nicest areas in Dubrovnik. I had a lot of friends my age there. When the tourist industry began to pick up in Dubrovnik, my parents' business skyrocketed. We became quite rich! However, they say good things don't last (wait, do they say that?)
My parents, in their happiness about the money they were making, neglected to keep the restaurant clean and sanitary. It got horrific. One fateful day, when I was 9, a health inspector showed up. My parents tried to frantically clean the restaurant, but to no avail. The inspector found a rat nest behind one of the foot boxes in the fridge. The business was shut down. Everything my parents had worked for, gone. They had no relatives they could turn to. However, my father had connections to someone in the US. The person found my father a job at a betting company in Texas. And so, against my will, we moved over to the US. It was a big shock, and I'm still slightly in shock even 7 years later. I hope to become more ingrained in American life. I play on the school soccer team, as a centre back. I love playing soccer and hope to improve a lot in the future. My dream is to play for either the American national team or the Croatian national team. I'm thinking about learning an instrument, but I can't see that happening to be honest.
