I might use the drummer just so I have a character that has a little more say so in how the band is run, but until there's a gig we don't necessarily need one.

Oh, one other thing. This may be the first RP I actually close to new applicants, at least for members of the core band. I don't think I will, but who knows.
Road Sign: Supernatural, Superamped.
The gigs have been going well. Neither you nor your bandmates can deny that, though all of you have a little bit of doubt about your band's potential to go far, especially considering the group's name.
Road Sign. Who came up with that, anyway?
At your last venue, Brandi Michaels, your current bassist in a long line of players, spotted a man in a five-figure suit and gold tinted sunglasses watching the concert with interest.
Sure enough, he was a talent agent named Luke Fifer and thinks that RS has potential. The band is supposed to meet with their potential agent soon, but something seems a little bit off with him, and Brandi has said that Luke “gives her the heebie jeebies.”
Whatever, RS is going to the top of the world!

This is gonna be short cause most of this is self-explanatory. Players are members of the band “Road Sign,” or part of the support staff, hopefully about to sign their first record deal, for the distribution of the album “Guardrail,” but something seems to be a little strange with their agent, and a few of the more... Loco members of the group have suggested that he isn't quite human.
Th others don't believe them, of course.

On the note of the band's genre: Players will decide the type of music Road Sign plays, but it will most likely be rock, for storyline purposes.
“Oh, Kaithas, it says supernatural up there, what does that mean?” Well, we'll get there. I'll distribute some powers/abilities in the early game.
Rules:
Don't be a dillweasel. That covers most of it, but more specifically:
1. Listen to the staff.
2. At least at the beginning of the game, your characters are ordinary people, and a guitar will not beat a gun. Keep that in mind.
3. No gmodding, metagaming, or autohitting.
4. Profiles have to be approved.
5. Killing without permission ain't cool.
6. In case you couldn't tell, this is fairly lighthearted. Don't fuss at people for making jokes unless it's out of hand.
7. No bunnying.
8. I swear, if higher than PG-13 sexiness happens, I'll flip. Fade to black, take to PM, nobody wants to see that unless it involves them.
9. Have fun!

Brandi has lasted longer than the others, but that's not saying much when the previous record was a month, held by the first, Zack*. She's fresh outta high school, but is very skilled for her relative inexperience.
*Zack died in a freak basketweaving accident.

"You people have no idea what you're dealing with. You speak of glory, and honor, and being the toughest, or the best."
Her voice shook. "Talk about living, instead. If we're dealing with this level of being, just talk about living through this quest. I don't know that it's what did this to me or is attacking Ian, but... God help us all. That voice..."
She shuddered and turned to Albert. "Try to pull him away, or at least bring light to the dark."

@Mr.Pink: That remains to be seen, I'm always partial to rock (and I think it'll work better for my plans) but it's kinda up to the players.
I'm big on player involvement in plotting and whatnot, makes my life easier and the game more likely to survive if I disappear for say, a week or so.

One day, however, all that changes. They find that the music industry is in no way what they thought it was, and as evil forces encroach farther and farther on what they love, the band discovers that its destiny might be something bigger.
