Bleed over my grave, and plunge in the stake. Don't give me a break, when you're on the take.

I'm not trying to be a hardass or anything. But just so I can set te record straight, I'm fine with players introducing NPCs and controlling them. But what I will say is that you'll need to be comfortable with me controlling them also. I liked what Empath did because it was funny. And your response to Bloo was fine, considering that you were responding to his action. What I was objecting to was just your dictating of Empath's NPC's actions. You can attempt to do things, and then it's up to me and possibly the person who introduced the NPC to figure out if what you attempt succeeds.

I guess this is more character driven than anything though, so I won't really mind unless you give yourself god powers and succeed at everything. I encourage you to fail, to make the RP more interesting, and to see where it takes you. However from now on, I'll try and accept creative and thoughtful explanations for stuff. As long as you can justify it to me, I think it'll be all good.

Empath's most recent post is the example I'll use. D'ren is a boxer, and he punched the crap out of those guards. And then...decapitated them. Yeeeeah, that's a little crazy. But I like it, so my arbitrary will allows it to remain. Mwahaha.
This particular guard had been having a bad day.

Julius Mannus, of the Goldenhand Order, had not intended for his day to go quite so badly. First, that morning he had received a letter informing him of his mother's passing. Second, he had stubbed his toe on his kitchen table. Third, he'd been given guard duty first thing in the morning. Fourth, he had forgotten his extra quarrel for his crossbow. So, when fifth, some fucking heathen started talking shit about his daughter, he just about lost it. He fired the quarrels on hand, one missing and the other hitting some other criminal in the shoulder. Pawing his outfit for literally anything else to shoot, he mistakenly placed his glasses in the crossbow and fired in his rage. His specs flew with surprising aerodynamics to thump squarely in the criminal's chest, shattering utterly.

The criminals had freed themselves, and so Julius took a mighty swing at the nearest one, a man a whole head taller than him. This much like the rest of Julius' day failed miserably. He somehow ended up on the ground, seeing stars with a terrible headache and no sword. That did it. Julius was done. The world had it out for him. He staggered to his feet, and began to totter home. However he slipped on a puddle of vomit and landed in the stuff, bile splashing all over his clothes and armours. He decided to just lie there, and question his life choices.

So, you're free. Where to first? Also as a note, @Wadesauce, easy on the godmodding. Just a warning in case you don't know what that is, but just make sure you're controlling only your character and nobody else's. Thanks.

@Kalleth So he does have a love pillow of Catherine in his shed!

You know, he's not got his love pillow at the moment, but you've given me a glorious idea. I eagerly await the first mention of the Oak of Doom!

Was it all you could've hoped for, @Vashonn?

So in case you didn't figure this out on your own, the first character who mentions a "colossal oak tree" in their next post will get to find out quite abruptly at least one of the items found in the gym teacher's shed, which he is currently fondling with perhaps too much eagerness, as he squats in the bushes out of sight, but with a prime view of the path next to this tree of unfortunate fate!

Jideh heard footsteps behind him, and looked back to see a girl with crumbs all over her face. She was talking to him, so he decided the polite thing to do would be respond.

"It is certainly a fine evening, for planting hydrangeas. Though the more I see of this place, the more certain I am that any seed you plant will grow far larger and faster than anybody expects..."

Jideh hadn't meant to get all philosophical, but his mind was going back to the conversation he'd had with Dia and Zeke, as well as the fiasco at the fountain. The fountain towards which they were currently headed.

"Did you see what happened today, at the fountain? After that, the rumours of a haunted fountain seem less farfetched. Even if they seem less farfetched because it's more likely that Headmaster Hargor will be there waiting to drench students."

He smiled to himself, remembering his efforts to save that teacher with the oddly patterned underwear. And though he'd heard something along the lines of "don't use your powers" during the instructions for the race, he stopped in his tracks, knelt down and dug into the earth with his spade. He pulled a seed out of his pocket, checked to see that it was in fact the seed he thought it was, and then covered the seed with earth.

"Tell you what, let's walk to the fountain and on our way back, we'll see if this plant's grown any?"

Jordan was giggling to himself as he replaced the locks on his shed, checking and double-checking their security. He would've been making an "evil steeple" with his fingers but his hands were full, and he very much felt the maniacal mastermind in him was coming out. He'd bandaged his hands from earlier, and he wasn't having any trouble with his burden, quite the opposite. He felt light as a feather! A metaphor, as the weight on his back was colossal, but Jordan still managed to skip along the side-path towards the icky little kiddies running through the forest. He was disguised appropriately of course, wearing an oni mask he'd had lying around, and he'd changed clothes to be wearing a black body suit and blue scarves.

"Soon enough, all will be revealed..." Jordan muttered to himself, shuddering with anticipation and grinning like a fox.

...

...

...

Jordan was hunkered down, his gear good and ready, awaiting the next victim to come his way. The first face he saw pass under the colossal oak tree would be an unlucky soul indeed. Almost as unlucky as whoever ran into Kano, or Xavier if he was willing to get up to anything this year. Of course, he had no idea whether Catherine would be devising her own torment or if she had simply resorted to the boring safety committee. Anything to keep up appearances Cath? Jordan wondered, but he thought he could hear footsteps and so he shifted his grip and stretched his sore limbs. I'm ready! PREPARE FOR VENGEANCE KIDDIES!
