Remember that one time when Scaramouche got killed off right after he did that amazing dance and it was the biggest tragedy in the entire series?

Remember that if you ever feel like you're terrible at naming things, just know that my friends dragged me into playing a dark and serious MMO where a boss was named "Deathkill."

Yeah, I know, but if you forget anything in Dark Souls after reloading a save file, I'm certain, given the reputation that game has, frustration would occur.

It's actually part of the lore; if an undead person starts to lose their sense of purpose, he or she slowly starts to forget things until going insane. I feel like the game's reputation is kind of misleading; if you've ever played a "Classicvania"-style Castlevania game, it's basically that in 3D. If you're patient and pay attention, it's really just a moderately challenging game with a decent difficulty curve (which admittedly clashes a lot with most releases of the time). A good many players will unfortunately just charge in swords blazing, though, missing all the tells for traps and enemies and mislabeling it as "trial and error gameplay."

That's actually one of the reasons I didn't like Dark Souls 2, come to think of it. Too many insta-death traps with no way to see them coming outside of messages from other players.
Translated from Lavul's status: Do you remember all of Dark Souls?

Lugia, there's more stuff in Dark Souls than that one thing.
It's the damn Illuminati.

Let's go get Adam Jensen.

I'm partial to JC Denton myself.

What is everyone talking about? EA is great... this world needs less variety in their games. This world needs more sports games. This should be a sports game, then everyone will buy it. Sim City should have kept its always online feature, that really made the game shine in my opinion. This game needs more sports.

I'd probably actually watch sports if they had Pokemon in it, though. Everyone would be fighting over the ball, and then a Machamp just tilts the entire stadium so everyone falls to the goal. Then an Abra teleports the ball to a Charizard and he flies it over to the other goal.
Everyone, now is the time to put on your tinfoil hats.

Easy, easy, our brainwaves are safe for now. I mean, this isn't EA we're talking about here.
Well, I wasn't into horror games, and never had an original Play Station... 'cause I was a blind Nintendo fanboy as a kid, that is, as soon as Sega was out of the running.

They ported that game to just about everything if I remember correctly, including the Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn, though I'm not sure how widely distributed those ports were and how good they were. I still have my "Deadly Silence" edition DS port, though, that one's pretty great.

I've never played Resident Evil and I still know that scene comes from that.

Them dubs though.

They were apparently deliberate. They wanted it to be reminiscent of a terrible 50's B Movie, hence why there's no japanese voices in the game.
Yes. I'm surprised that you haven't played Resident Evil yet.
Has anyone on Bonnie's side said "WOW, what a MANSION!" yet? I feel like that's a necessary thing to say in such a situation.
“Oh, sorry Levita,” I say quickly, nervous at the thought that I could have hit my own friend on accident. “That was pretty cool though, right? I bet that I could do that better if I did it more often...” I begin to think about all the cool things I could say whenever I got the chance to do that again, maybe even some sort of pun or one-liner, but then Chip decides to attack Static for whatever reason. What’s the deal with this place? Why does everyone try to hit each other the moment things start to get tense? Do they have some sort of grudge against diplomacy? Is it just lost to this part of the world? I take a deep breath, managing to calm myself down. I notice the Nidoran escaping in the midst of the chaos, but I don’t really do anything about it; it’ll stall the conflict for a little while and she’d probably have some time-consuming reason to go here in the first place.

“Well,” I say to the Pichu (whose name seems to be Static), “I was always told that words have power.” I smile confidently, also having been told that power can be wielded in a variety of ways. I don’t think I was using Disarming Voice, so it shouldn’t have done any actual damage... Maybe I should explore this idea more later; I think I’m on to something magnificent...

“Oh yeah,” I say to the Goomy (whose name I don't think I ever caught), “We’re Team Crescendo; perfect to the last beat! Actually, that’s a really good slogan, considering we haven’t failed a mission so far...” Of course, I leave out the fact that we haven’t actually gone on any missions yet, but it’s still technically true. I probably should have told that to Team Frontline, too. That would’ve taken some of the wind out of their sails.

Well, can you at least recall what you've been doing?

We do have a plot, it's just that the plan of action is actually less reflective of the intended timeline... though, we don't even have an action plan.

Well, the only thing for us that isn't completely character driven is this new thread about these mysterious orbs. Apparently there's one for each of the "sub-types" (Void, Shadow, Light and mundane), and if one orb is destroyed, every Pokemon who shares that orb's respective sub-type will eventually die. A Pichu named Static apparently wants these orbs on the reasoning that their power is starting to wane and they need to be recharged, but his methods for obtaining what seems to be one from Nina (a Nidoran who wears what seems to be a replica of one of them on a necklace) are less than kind.

Did somebody call for naming services?

Also, I cbs posting 'cause right I'm in a clusterfuck with the locations of the RP. You know, I always assumed the quarters were on the first floor of Arnold's Guild, but that's apparently flipped on its head and on the second so.

Let me just process this and tell you guys I still have no idea what the hell the plot is. 'Cause Lugia can't get a recap for me.

I can't be here 24/7 anymore 'cause I got plenty of internals and homework to do as it is.

So, just a recap is needed. I don't like Lugia's 'X did Y' for a good reason, and I shouldn't need to explain how vague that is.

...I sound harsh, but that's because I got plenty of stuff on my mind. I just don't get a lot of clarity with things nowadays, so I hope I can actually understand something for once.

I'd help, but now that I think about it I don't have a very good understanding of things, myself...

Actually, it seems like no one knows what the hell the plot is.
