Current I have an idea for an RP, but not sure about it. I know I wouldn't be able to GM it by myself, that's for sure.

Clan Oreborn

"Dwarves. Born of stone, born of ore. Yet it is believed that some are born of dirt, and treated as such. Slaves, this is just one example, a core example, of the 'professions' that these dwarves... that we are used for. Yet no matter the hardships we have faced, my son, we continue to stand strong, tough as steel, sharp as bronze, hopeful as gold. There will come a day where you will understand these words, and all else that I've told you..." "Arngir! Arngir!! Wake up!"

Arngir's eyes shot open, and he hurriedly got up, only momentarily losing balance from the rocking of the ship. The only ship, and most worn down vessel, of what was left of the already meager fleet. All that was left now was a single ship and several large boats, most of which were fishing vessels.

One of the watchmen beckoned him over and pointed toward the horizon, "Sir, see there? Land, we have finally come upon land!" Arngir peered in the distance, and sure enough he could see a mountained island ahead, and the outline of a much larger land, perhaps a whoel continent, beyond it. But what caught his eye the most, was the great shape of a mountain so high that couldn't tell if just its peak was above the clouds that surrounded it.

His eyes glimmered.

A new land, a new hope, a new beginning.

"Wake everyone on all the ships, full alert and effort, we will reach the shore as soon as possible..."

Clan Oreborn reached the southern mouth of a, from what they could discern, western flowing river. The ship could go no further, so its supplies were transferred to the other boats and they salvaged what they could of the battered vessel before sinking the remains. The decision was made to move inland towards what the clan was calling the World Mount, and so they took the remaining boats upriver, with a party on land as there wasn't quite enough room.

Eventually, they reached the western base of the mountain. Here. It is here that they would make their new home. And they wasted no time in unloading the supplies and salvaging more of the boats to make sturdy yet temporary shelter.

Looks like someone really wants to conquer the word through blood and iron/steel/any other metals.
Hmm, I guess to avoid any confusion or complications, I'll default to one of the default races.

Which will be dwarves, since as Cyclone pointed out, it is one of the races not being played at the moment.
@Kangutso Well I mean... What do you have in mind for this immortal character of yours? I'd be okay with a ruler achieving immortality through the roleplay, but having it from the start would be a bit much. With an ambition to achieve immortality though, I'd know what sort of events to give you to enable you the possibility of achieving it.

@hivekiller Ohey dude, long time no see! As we're full currently I'll put you on the holding-list. You're free to stick around of course, and join the discord server if you wanna chat.

Its less that he would have ambition for it, and more like he would have earned it without his knowing by being blessed with it.

This is mostly for the custom race I'm thinking of using. I am all for The leader earning that immortality if I need to go through that route.

EDIT: If you would prefer it that way, okay. I may default to a dwarven civ if needed.
Alright, that makes enough sense for me.

Another question: Would it be possible to have an immortal leader?

And by immortal I mean they don't age past a certain point, and can't die from poison, but can be killed by anything else that can kill a person.

EDIT: Or would that simply be too much?
<Snipped quote by Kangutso>

I'd note that ogres, trolls, and dwarves aren't being played by anybody.

True, and of the 3 I'd would pick dwarves, as I have no idea how I would RP trolls or ogres.

I guess it'll depend on a couple answers from Chen, cause i have another question to ask him.
I'm here trying to decide whether to go with humans, or a custom race I have in mind.
Quick question, how much time passes each turn? On average.
T_T

The place I was going to settle has rivers now... Curse you hesitation!

Aw well, back to stalking from the shadows.
@Kangutso Gotcha buddy. Sorry I had to turn you down :V You're free to stick around!

Well, as long as you're offering...

Just not sure what there is for me to chat about here without being part of the IC.
