Kai --

Everything zeroed in around Kai. He saw the imps come in and he just started throwing and kicking. His hand to hand wasn't the greatest, still practicing that when he could, so he took every chance he could to kill them from afar. He was being circled when there was a brilliant white light in the distance. He sighed, finally. the imps became distracted and he slipped away, running and found what he could feel from the short distance. He dropped his arm into the water and watched it rise and then flood the small meadow they were in. The imps screeched as the water over took them. Some drowned but most fled.
He laid back on the ground and shut his eyes for a second, catching his breath again.
There was an aweful cry from the distance and he sat up slowly. Almost over. There was no way he was studying tonight.
Kai pushed himself back to his feet and jogged through the woods back to his odd group of classmates.

@WelcmeToGudBrgr For my last post there Kai took off to go see where the yelling was coming from so he's not actually with the group anymore.

Kai nodded once and looked around at the others before he sprinted off in the direction of the scream. Kai ducked and threw his knives as he went. He got tackled to the ground once and ended up with a sizable scratch on his arm but managed to throw his attacker off once he stabbed him.
Kai was working on pulling the water from the air in order to aid his attacks but he was still far off, needed a nearby body of water to get anywhere.
He pounded through the forest until he came to a bit of a clearing and paused to catch his breath. It was quiet. Too quiet. He sighed and two daggers appeared in each hand.
"Distraction. Damn Imps... I should be studying right now!" Kai yelled and was answered by cackling from all around him. With throwing knives Kai was able to take on multiple attacks at a time and who knew, maybe the leader was part of this attack and he could end this right now.
He flexed his muscles, testing the strength around his ripped skin and prepared to fight.

Kai ducked and jumped up to slice his knife up the middle of an imp. He jumped back to catch his breath behind Kumiko's shield.
"Imp's are no better than a younger sibling," He chimed in for Asim's benefit. "Just a hell of a lot more bite to them. They like to tag team and use distractions to level the playing field." There was a screech and Kai swung around in time to take out at Imp jumping at their unprotected backs.
In the distance there was a cry and a scream, like that of a person.
"And cue distraction." Kai looked to Tora. "What should we do?"
