Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location:The Palace Lounge -- Asgard
Skills: Knowledge

Cuyler was in a decent mood until Halley uttered two words. Two little words that Cuyler thought he could handle hearing and cope easily enough with. Thia started to trot along beside Halley as she moved to leave the room but it seemed Cuyler wasn't able to move for a moment.
”The Castle?” He shook his head, stealing himself for a moment. The man had fought creatures ten times more powerful than him and won. One place was not going to throw him off his cue. Even if his one, true love was down there. He shook his head again before he ran forward to catch up to the girls. What was in the past, should be left in the past but Cuyler should know the past has a tendency to come back at the most inopportune times.
”Okay the Castle. Well, it has been six months but at least we have a decent idea of the lay out. Should give us a bit of an advantage there. Now we just have to think where is the one place Loki would hang out or hide something valuable.” He thought as they walked, a mental map forming in his head of his time within the Castle.
”There’s Snake Slipway, it’s a residential area but houses more of the shady types. Oh, or Gothyk Grotto perhaps. It’s a shop that is known for their unique items and ah, more intense patrons. I sold a couple things there once. We might be able to get some information about a unique person such as Loki. He does tend to stand out.” Cuyler was mostly thinking out loud but also hoped his suggestions would be taken into account. If anything, it would knock a couple places off of their list. The Castle wasn’t exactly small.

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Courtyard
Skills: Brawling, Stamina, Knife Fighting

Amarantha slipped the protective ear pieces into her ears while Antonjie walked forward, gathering the Vampire’s attention from Sylvi. Apparently the thing knew he would have to fight if he followed Amarantha’s initial invitation to join her, so he continued to stalk Sylvi until Antonjie was able to subdue him. Sylvi meanwhile, no longer under immediate threat, turned and started yelling at Amarantha. Apparently she didn’t understand Amarantha’s body language when she initially beckoned the Vampire to follow her, and leave Sylvi and Myrus alone.
Meanwhile, Myrus’s guard, Lennox had moved forward behind the Prince and laid hands on the Prince.
“Time to go Your Highness” Lennox said. He slipped one arm around the Prince’s waist, grabbing one of the Prince's arms and hosted him up onto Lennox's shoulders and turned. “You’re my extra eyes. Let me know if anything comes after us.” Without so much of a warning Lennox started running with the Prince, dodging as much of the fray as he could.
The rest of the guards in the area immediately jumped into action, defending the citizens as best they could while trying to get them all to safety. It was chaos and everyone would be able to hear the screaming and fighting. May the Gods be on the Castles' side.
Amarantha pulled a set of knives from her belt and the blades gleamed in the firelight. ”Well it is a very good thing I had the decency to train people to protect the royals when there is more than one of them under my charge hmm?” She didn’t have the time nor the patience to deal with Sylvi’s opinion of her.
Turning away she focused her sights on the closest Vampire and let a dagger hurl towards it. She hit her target but it didn’t go down the way she imagined it. The Vampire she hit happened to be the one Antonjie was in control of. Well, if it wasn’t paying attention to her before it was now as it turned and charged Amarantha. It managed to get a hold of her neck and bite down. Amarantha yelled in frustration. She flicked her wrist which contained her hidden gauntlet and thrusted up between the fourth and fifth rib, piercing his heart; however, that didn't seem to bother nor phase the Vampire.
”First you don’t bite me where I can at least get a little pleasure from it and now you don’t have the decency of having a heart to stop beating?” Luckily, Amarantha felt no immediate effects from the Vampires bite. She flicked her wrist again, retracting the hidden knife and placed hands on the Vampire’s head and quickly twisted, effectively breaking his neck. The thing was still not dead though and now looked like a wanna-be headless horseman. (Nearly Headless Nick, is that you?)
Amarantha twisted her face in disgust. What the hell were these things made of? Still. If bones could be broken, why not break every single one until the thing was limp. Amarantha charged the thing and grabbed onto it’s wrist, pulling and twisting its arm as she went in hopes to dislocate the shoulder before she would shove her knee against the elbow joint and sever that as well.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Luna’s Bedroom off The Long Walk -- The Palace
Skills:

Ahote tensed, hearing the fighting going on behind the door and looked at Queen Valda, praying she had the solution. And she did. He relaxed momentarily while the Queen used her Magyk to Transporte them all outside the Queen’s room. They didn’t hesitate to all walk into the Queen’s bedroom. Titan and Ahote were both permitted inside since they had direct contact with one of the royal bloodline.
Titan secured the door and withdrew his sword, planting himself in front of it. Luckily this room seemed to only have one entrance so there were multiple areas that would need to be secured. He could focus all his attention on the front door.
”Alright. You two stay here. I’m going to go see if I can slow some of these things down and buy us more time,” he said and made his way to the door, walking past Titan.
Ahote really wanted to know how these things got here in the first place and why they were here. With all his research, they weren’t native to this land and it didn’t make much sense for them to be here. They looked like average people though, so it wasn’t surprising they were able to get past the initial Castle defenses so easily.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna was growing a little fed up with the constant reminder of who her parents were. And who, exactly was obsessed with that knowledge? She merely looked at Sapphire while she went on with her diatribe. Speaking one’s mind Luna could tolerate. She had been around enough liars in her lifetime to appreciate the truth telling. But there was a fine line between having an opinion and being opinionated. Her father was more than just a face, as well as her mother. They were her whole world, her own personal heroes of scratched knees and bruised heads. Saviours of head colds and nightmares. They were more than just a name. Sure, when it came to lives on the line, names and family lines meant nothing but the fact of the matter was, if they were going to get anywhere with their goals, names was what was going to get them through the door. That was the dark, sticky reality of life. You were nothing but your name.
Veil snapped, bringing all of the attention back to her and Luna obliged. She knew she wasn’t in charge here, she came in here with that understanding. Hence why she waited for the one who was in charge before disclosing her information. Regardless of what Veil thought, she was in charge and she did command a room without even trying. There was a saying: some were born great and some had greatness thrust upon them.
”Well I have Shaw’s direct information and another direct connection with the Hellfire club. Although dated, my great grandfather dabbled in the Hellfire club and despite your obvious concern with my name and my purposed entitlement, it’s your quickest way in. Of course, if you have better options, I’m all ears. Being bait, isn’t my most favourable past time.” She knew this information was going to be hit with more head butting and outraged concerns. There was no trust established, they we were working on the trust still and Luna just told the leaders of the Mutant Underground that she had direct connections to the Hellfire club that was in part to the Hound Program. At the very least, Luna didn’t beat around the bush either.
Luna found herself an agreeable seat and sat down, settling in for the potential arguments and disbelief at her news. Her only chance weighed on Veil’s intuition and the chance that they all had some belief in Xavier still. Luna’s body language had her seated relaxed but open as well, not in such a dominate, intimidating way but in a way that conveyed she was an open book and willing to answer more questions.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden’s cheeks flushed a little from Negasonic’s agreement with his obvious overshare. He shrugged it off, grinning at Cannonball. ”Well Moonwalker works then. Seems everyone here goes by codenames anyways.”
When Sunspot shook Cayden’s hand, it took him an effort not to rip his hand away. His neck and cheeks flushed again purely from the heat. When his hand was released Cayden couldn’t help but glance at his hand to make sure it was still intact and didn’t need to be ran under cool water.
”Oh! You mean Luna Braddock,” Cayden said to Negasonic’s comment, forgetting about his hand. ”She seems decent enough, considering she’s also surrounded by a bunch of people she doesn’t know. I mean she’s a Braddock though, so that’s pretty sweet.” Cayden was still fangirling over the fact that he had just met Capitan Britain's daughter.
”Hey, are you guys hungry? Veil and Saph brought back food. There should be some left.”

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Infirmary -- The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette managed to find a spot and sat down. She wasn’t of much use, other than an extra pair of hands should October require it. Things seemed to be going well though and Antoinette was just continue to sit with her other friend and watch the progress. Antoinette’s eyes drifted over to Prince Flynn and she picked out minor similarities in his face to that of his sister’s Wanda. She bit her bottom lip and looked away. Hopefully they caught the miscreants who attempted to assassinate the Queen.
Carolina’s voice drifted into Antoinette’s head and she looked at her friend, startled a moment as Antoinette had seemed to drift off there a moment, lost in her thoughts. Carolina offered to fetch something to eat or drink for her but Antoinette wasn’t so sure she was that hungry, or could even eat for that matter. She shook her head, about to reply when October spoke up with some potentially distressing news. The Queen was stable, which by all accounts was amazing but she also wasn’t “here”. Wherever she was those, the way October made it sound, was not a good thing at all.
”I think we should try talking to her, reaching her wherever she is and bring her back,” Antoinette agreed with her friend. Whatever they could do to bring the Queen back, they had to at least try. She looked to Prince Flynn to see what his decision would be. While the King was preoccupied, he was more or less in charge of his mother’s well-being it seemed.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Lake -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel followed her eyes over the lake, watching the water nymphs play and he smirked. Ah yes. They could be devilish little things but it was just as fun to mess with them as it was for them to do the same to you.
”No sense of adventure Rosie,” he remarked. He stood up and discarded his shoes, ready to get into the water after harassing her a bit.
There was a shift in the sky and a darkening just behind him. Frowning, thinking it would be rain, Ezekiel turned his head in time to hear the thunder clap over the camp where he had left all the newbies. He groaned, rolling his head and stared at the sky in annoyance before stepping into the water.
”Looks like we got another big three. Great.” He was less than enthused though. Sure it was just a kid and they would do the typical innocence thing and be overwhelmed by all the attention and praise that would be momentary. The humble surprise never lasted and soon they would become self-entitled little shits who thought they could do no wrong because of who their “parents are”. Honestly, it was like each child of the big three was Draco Malfoy yelling, “Wait until my father hears about this!”
Ezekiel waded out into the water, letting the refreshing bit of the lake, calm him down and tether him back into reality. Proof. They always wanted proof. Well, Ezekiel had no problem giving them proof. He dove under the water and let the underwater world take him somewhere else for awhile. Somewhere without godly parents and unrealistic expectations.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Lake -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel smirked as she quickly gathered her drawings, pulling them away from him but not before he saw a drawing of all the newcomers. So she had seen their arrival after all. Well some warning about Hades’s kids would have been helpful. He would have brought ear plugs or pretended he was deaf.
After seeing what she was listening too, Ezekiel took one of her headphones and popped it into his ear. It wasn’t one of his favourites but it was upbeat and had a great piano riff to it. Ezekiel leaned back on his hands and shut his eyes, taking in the sun. He had a bit of a tan year round, having an olive skin tone he tanned rather easily and would become quite dark during the summers, making him stand out even more as the son of the Sun god.
”Oh I don’t know, is there?” He looked back at Rosie with a twinkle in his eye before winking at her. He laughed and shook his head, sitting back up and took the ear bud out of his ear.
”Well since you’re out of your hole, want to come for a swim? The water looks warm enough,” he said and stood up and stretched out a bit.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Palace Lounge ---> The Armoury ---> The Kitchens ---> The Palace Lounge -- Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler made quick work of getting to the little armoury Asgard had but little it was anything but. He grabbed a couple of bags before he started grabbing weapons. He grabbed Arnora’s usual sword and set it aside before he grabbed his new bow and a quiver of arrows. After that Cuyler made quick work of changing into his Asgardian armour. He strapped his sword, Borghild or Hildy to his side before he pulled a shining Egil and slid the handle of the axe into the side of his belt. When he was all decked out like this Cuyler was highly impressive. Not necessarily to the other Asgardians who looked like this on a daily but to the others that he encountered on missions.
He grabbed Arnora’s sword and the bags before he headed off to the kitchens to grab some food and canteens for water. He smiled and nodded at people as he went about his business. When Cuyler first arrived there were many people who looked like him going about their lives and doing what he was doing now. It was a normal thing but for Cuyler he constantly asked where they were going or what they would be doing. They obliged him for the first while but then it got rather annoying and they would just ignore him or do something more damaging. Cuyler eventually learned when to ask questions and when to keep his mouth shut.
While he was in the kitchen he heard a familiar sniffling and tink of nails against the floor. There was a push against the back of his legs as Thia nudged into him and sat down beside Cuyler's left leg. She gave a small bark and her tongue lolled to the side. Thia came to the kitchens often looking for scraps, today was no different. Cuyler looked down affectionately at her and chuckled before tossing her some meat.
"Eat up quick, we're going on another adventure," he informed her. Thia was a comfort on most of his missions and was an important assent in scouting ahead. Thia barked and stood, wagging her tail as she ate up quickly. Cuyler left the kitchens before Thia once he had the supplies gathered but she quickly caught up.
Cuyler entered the Palace Lounge with Thia on his heels and tossed Arnora her sword.
”So, where are we going?”

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Courtyard
Skills:

Amarantha frowned at Mona. She had spent enough time with the rock witch though that she understood how she spoke and could get around the accent fairly easily. Still, there were some days were it was highly annoying. She waved Mona off when she said to come look for her later. Yes, they probably did have some things to discuss. Amarantha had been busy with war council meetings, planning out ways to defend the Castle against more than just witches. Everyone was out to get the Castle now and it was causing Amarantha more and more headaches trying to keep up with some of them.
She looked back at Antonije and compiled by looking over the various wandering guards. There were a couple that she thought of but she simply waved the closet one over.
”Will he do?” Amarantha crossed her arms, eager to get this demonstration on with. She had high hopes for whatever he had come up with. They needed a win. There was a sudden scream and worded cry that sounded of the Prince. Amarantha turned her entire body to face the sound of the scream and dropped her arms so they hung loosely at her sides. She turned in time to see Mavis Moll fall to her knees with an man standing behind her, a dagger covered in her blood. Mryus then tackled the man but of course he was overpowered but his hands started to glow and she knew the man had no chance but Myrus would probably be seriously hurt as well. It was never that simple though as Amarantha noticed a set of fangs as the man, well Vampire bare his teeth at Mryus. Excellent.
”Actually Antonije, would you mind trying your new toy out on this young man? Seems he doesn’t know how to let people have a good time without a little blood. Try to leave the Prince unharmed but if you can’t, you won’t be penalized,” Amarantha assured him. It seemed there were other people who wanted to play hero though and Sylvi charged the Vampire and Mryus. Amarantha gave an annoyed sort of noise before she pulled out her dagger and nodded at the guard she had pulled over to act as her third. Antonije had more skill and the toy so she would rely on him being her second and not need much instruction.
”Oi, I think playtime is over,” Amarantha said to the Vampire and pointed her dagger at him and beckoned for him to join her.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Luna’s Bedroom off The Long Walk -- The Palace
Skills:

Ahote felt a little more relaxed, allowing Luna’s guard into the room with them but asked Valda’s to remain outside and act as a further guard. Surprisingly they complied with him. He looked at the two woman once they were inside.
”There are Vampires in the hallways, multiples of them. I confess I don’t know how to kill them but I might be able to fend off a few of them. They are hungry with the intent to attack and kill. I’m not sure how long we have,” Ahote said and looked to the door. He felt bad asking Valda’s guards to remain outside but they would act as a buffer if the vampires did attack and come after them inside Luna’s room.

Titan frowned. “Vampires? How do you know? They hardly ever come to the Castle. I’ve heard maybe two stories of them coming?”
”I saw their auras. They are rather distinctive and with all the research I’ve been doing of late, I came across some of their information. Unfortunately there was nothing on how to kill them properly. I’m sure I could dispatch some of them but not kill them.” He looked back at Queen Valda and nodded. Perhaps her room would be better. ”Is there a way to get to your room besides going back out into the hallway?”

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna turned her head to the side, hearing one of the girls calling her Karen. Her name was Luna, or Glimpse and they knew that. Why would they be calling her Karen? That was seemingly of little concern to Luna when Colossus spoke up and told her some old time saying that obviously meant a lot to him. She smiled a bit.
”And is there a saying for someone who was sent here and is currently trying to become part of the brotherhood? I understand trust is earned but it can’t exactly be earned when your pushing me out the door already now can it?” She appreciated the saying nonetheless. Her father was always saying things like that. He was her brotherhood. Her family bond was all the wealth she needed, not the physical wealth they had. Luna understood there was a bond here as well, thicker than blood and she wasn’t trying to sever the bond but she wasn’t going to be pushed out without a fight either. If they wanted proof, she would give them proof.
Luna listened to Veil as she agreed that they would be taking Luna out to check her information, which she was perfectly fine with. She had yet to go straight to the source herself so this would be a good opportunity to. The only problem was, if they didn’t trust her, why should she trust them? Perhaps she should just go on her own and if she doesn’t show up again because of some bad happening, no harm done. They could go about their lives and her parents could bury an empty coffin. Not like it wasn’t the first time that has happened.
”If I may be so bold, in regards to your mission statement. Wouldn’t it make sense to take out one of the reasons why you have to be rescuing and shipping off mutants to better parts? Leave the head of lion to the X-Men but at least cut a paw off.”

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden shrugged before he pushed away from the table and followed along. He had finished his meal but brought his drink along to sip as they walked.
”It’s a bit boring “dreamwalker” and besides, dreamwalking is a very popular thing within native american culture. Regular humans boast about dreamwalking all the time and solving all sorts of things by doing so. My grandmother used to love the moon, all of her stories were told by moonlight and my first walk was during night and a full moon. It brings me comfort I think… Sorry, that was probably a bit of an over share,” Cayden said. He rubbed the back of his neck shyly and messed with his hair. If his other hand was free he would probably tie it up.
They were interrupted by other voices and even though one was rude, Cayden smiled warmly at both of them.
”Cayden Proudstar, or Moonwalker if you prefer,” Cayden said as he shook Cannonball’s hand. He moved and extended his hand to Sunspot after.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Antoinette followed along with her friends before she breathed a sigh of relief.
”I think Prince Flynn is right, nothing else is going to happen. I have a good feeling about that.” She beamed at her friends as her blue eye faded to its normal colour once again. She kept a hold of Carolina as they followed the Prince to the medical room. Antoinette wasn’t completely sure she would be of much help. She didn’t have much experience with bullet wounds and they didn’t look like something one should mess with if they didn’t know what they were doing. She was very grateful that they had October.
The further away from the ballroom they got, the more relaxed Antoinette became. She didn’t much like conflict or any room with unease in it. She didn’t handle it well. Her intuition didn’t help with that normally but today it was helping to keep her calm. Nothing else would go awry, so that meant the Queen would survive as well. Thank goodness for that.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Cabin Number 7 ---> Camp Fire Pit

Ezekiel placed his bow across his back and placed his Murakumo around his neck. It sat on a chain in miniature sword form until he would take it off and pull on the blade to extend it. It really was a thing of beauty; although, Ezekiel did prefer his bow. He walked out of the cabin and met the girls at the fire. Both looked as anxious as Ezekiel felt and ready to go.
"Well we'd need to steal one with keys. Unless any of you know how to hot wire a car. You'd have to run us to one first anyways," Ezekiel said. He looked up at the sky, measuring the sun and the time. Hopefully they could at least reach their destination by sundown and get a fresh start in the morning. He really wished they had more information to go off of. He didn't like missing information.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Palace Lounge -- Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler frowned a little. Loki would never stay in one place too long and he had a habit of disappearing at the last minute too. He watched Halley hand over a knife and prayed Arnora would be able to find him.
”Why don’t you work on tracking him Arnora and I’ll go gather up some supplies and our usual weapons,” Cuyler offered. He wanted to split off while Arnora did the tracking. The sooner they had everything they needed, the sooner they could get down to Midgard. Time was the only thing they had. It was a little hard to trick a trickster.
He ran a hand over his freshly shaved face and looked at both girls before he walked off. He would make quick work of gathering spare clothes, weapons, a bit of food and some water. They would need to travel light if they were to make ample time. They could travel to Midgard quickly but once they were there, they would have to track and hunt and run in order to reach their goal.

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Courtyard
Skills:

Amarantha looked at the little device curiously. This tiny thing could render a person paralyzed? She looked at Antonije with a bit of disbelief but then also appraisal as she took the device and ear plugs from him. He had yet to let her down and his inventions were always exciting.
”I would love a demonstration,” she cooed. Her eyes sparkled mischievously even while she looked at Sylvi. Amarantha didn’t mind her barging in. She seemed good for Antonije and he still got his work done even when she was around. Mona then joined them a short while after and she sighed a little. Why was it when one was busy, that was when everyone decided to show up.
”Yes, she’s with me,” Amarantha answered Antonije. She eyed Mona and her freshly cleaned form. ”Did you just wake up?”
With the dreams she had been getting and the lack of sleep, Amarantha wouldn’t be surprised. Perhaps she had another dream. The same reoccurring one. They had gotten no further on what it could mean, who this person was or what they could possibly have to do with Mona or the Castle. It was all rather annoying and time consuming. Things seemed to keep popping up around the Castle that led to nowhere fast and Amarantha had enough to deal with. There was the elusive Fleur and then Luna's increasing problem with the voice in her head. Nothing was working for her friend anymore. Not the writing, the tonics or talking about it. Luna was in her room most of the time and Amarantha hated it but it was the best option. Luna was unpredictable. She looked back at her partner in beautiful, witch, fighting crime.
”Shall we have this demonstration now while everyone is preoccupied with the fire?”

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Long Walk -- The Palace
Skills: Aura Sensing

As Ahote left his room, he saw extra guards then flaming red hair and smiled a bit. He felt he had grown a bit closer to each member of the royal family and enjoyed being in their company. He walked over to them, nodding to Valda and Luna’s guards as they all exchanged looks and nods. Ahote bumped into a servant as he passed and took pause. There was a lot of foot traffic in this hallway today, which wasn’t normal. He would think everyone would be out at the fire tonight too, not inside… Ahote’s eyes wandered over the people and colours began to shift and appear around each one. A certain shade followed several people which was rather unusual. Another was more obvious as he had seen this aura on several occasions here. Wickedness and murderous intent. It seemed a common theme at the Castle to have those things. Amarantha on occasion showed one or both of those auras. But the other strange aura was something he hadn’t seen before but had knowledge of. Being at the Castle he learned many things about this land and the various creatures it housed. Things he had that were similar back home but very different here. With his increase in knowledge, Ahote was able to pick up on this different aura and what it meant. His eyes widened and he took two long strides until he was up behind Valda. The guards looked at him curiously but they trusted Ahote as they had all sparred and practiced in the barracks weekly.
”I think it best if we step inside… The hallways are a little crowded.” How did you tell someone there were murderous creatures inside their home without alerting said creatures?
Ahote looked at Valda pointedly before darting his eyes over to one of the creatures. He didn't move his head though, hoping the subtle hint would be enough to get Valda to trust him enough to listen. Once behind closed doors, he would be able to explain and then they might be able to come up with a quick plan. As Ahote waited for Valda he quickly ran through what he remembered about vampires and how to dispatch them.
