Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Arena -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel glanced at Rebecca and simply nodded, he didn’t think she wanted to hear another apology from him. At least his first apology had been genuine, this time he was simply making a joke and it clearly missed its mark. Demetri and Leda showed up with Arthur and few others in tow. Demetri looked at Ezekiel, looking a little green from his sudden speed run with Leda before he threw up his previous meal on the ground. Ezekiel sidestepped the soiled ground and held back a wicked retort, which in hindsight he should have said because of what Demetri did say. Ezekiel narrowed his eyes on the boy child before shifting his hand, catching the light and bent it into Demetri’s eyes. It wasn’t a blinding thing like he had used in Capture the Flag but it was enough to hopefully shock and irritate little Zeus.
Ezekiel watched Rosie float down in her chair to Chiron before he took his seat, his patient officially out of his care. He made little handshakes with some of his half-siblings as he sat with them before settling in to listen to Chiron. He frowned a little when he heard about a talking skull killing his master. There weren’t many talking skulls here so he was easily able to put two and two together. It was always unfortunate when someone died at camp but for someone’s gift to turn on them, that was bizarre but then again, Hades was bizarre.
Rosie spoke up and mentioned the prophecy, Ezekiel shifted uncomfortably while his siblings leaned in, intrigued by the message and the potential quest of honor. Ezekiel was a little bit more interested in traveling to their sister camp. They hadn’t gotten together in quite a long time and it was always fun competing against the opposite houses. He wondered if this was going to be a joint quest. People started to stand, volunteering and Ezekiel was hardly surprised when Kristen was the first to stand. Little miss perfect princess, of course. It annoyed him to no end that her house was included in this but the upside, none of the big three were included, although that didn’t seem to stop some of them from volunteering to travel to the sister camp. Ezekiel couldn’t completely blame them for that. When you elected to remain at camp year round, one tended to become a little stir crazy.
Ezekiel looked back at Rosie and she met his eyes. He gave her a bit of a look before looking at the other Apollo kids then back to Rosie, trying to get across ‘does it have to be me’ thing but Rosie just simply kept looking at him, not really getting the poor sign language Ezekiel was trying to use. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He was a child of Apollo, a child of sun and a child of medicine, maybe he would be tasked with the job of healing rather than fighting. After a moment more, Ezekiel stood up and volunteered himself for whatever hell he was about to willingly walk into. He would have to ask Rebecca to help him gather as much supplies as he could carry for the quest because they would probably need a lot.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia gave the waiter her order before she leaned back into her chair, draping one arm over the back of the chair. ”Just don’t be disappointed if you find out something you didn’t want to know,” she warned Layla. Cassiopeia had adopted the attitude of their birth parents being dead and good riddance. She didn’t need that, nor want that in her life. She was completely happy with the little life they now had. It had been an upward battle but they had made it through, together. Cassiopeia didn’t need anyone else but her sister at her side.
Cassiopeia rolled her eyes at her sister and shook her head. ”Right cause I need that drama right now. Besides, guys are too intimidated around here when a woman can shoot better than they can. You can’t tell me you’ve had any recent success with that knife throwing of yours and landing a man. Well I mean, I guess you could pin them in place easily,” she teased her sister. As for finding a woman who Cassiopeia was interested in, there were slim pickings.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow’s eyes widened and her mouth opened in shock. ”That’s… what really?” She glanced at the letter one of the girls pulled out again before Willow reached into her bag and pulled out her letter. She scanned over it again before setting her letter on the table. ”This can’t be a coincidence but it can’t be… I’m not adopted.” Willow said firmly. She couldn’t be, that just didn’t make sense but these letters, they were one in the same, other than who they were addressed to.
Willow had to set her coffee cup down as she was now visibly shaking. None of this was making any sense and she couldn’t wrap her head around it. Willow was certain she was about to have a panic attack but she didn’t need that, not on top of an already crap day. She sunk down into a chair and tried to slow her rapid breathing.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy - Psionic Shield

Luna glanced back around when Veil announced Sabertooth was gone. He didn’t even seem to make a sound and that was a little off putting. ”Brilliant,” Luna commented before she looked back around. She was about to hunt out Sunshine’s location when she saw a man at the end of the hallway. He seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, rather than disappear like Sabertooth did. What was this place? Some sort of fun house? Luna eyed the man in costume and then slowly realization of who this was and where they were dawned on her. ”Mister Sinister, we must have missed the map of the funhouse at the beginning of our tour,” she said and crossed her arms. She wasn’t even going to attempt to get into Sinister’s head, there was no guarantee that she was going to even get close to that, nor did she want to see into the sick twisted mind of the man who tried to wipe out the Morlocks many moons ago.
Her aunt, the one who she shared her middle name with, knew a few things about the man that now stood in front of her. Luna had no idea she would be running across him while here. Carefully, Luna placed a block over her mind and reached out to do the same with her companions. She was able to block Veil just fine but Callie was another story. Luna shifted, half her body shielding Callie, at least Veil had her actual shields should something occur.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Van/Road -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Slowing down was definitely not an option, what with the cops still firing off shots at them. This was becoming a common occurrence, trying to outrun cops and Cayden really wished he had some sort of well developed mind power in order to attack them from afar. His Dreamwalking was only good for someone asleep as Cayden had yet to develop it to use while awake. The bullets kept coming at them and another one bounced off the metal man and Cayden ducked, not seeing the one graze Sapphire but he did hear Casper freak right out. He thought the mutant had been hit but what he was saying was not in context with what was happening. ”Casper, hey man, just breathe alright? We’ll be home soon.”
Soon wasn’t soon enough when another cry sounded and Colossus’s sister started glowing, well more of a glow coming from her chest but there was definitely some sort of light show going on. Cayden didn’t need to say anything to announce they were in trouble, everyone knew that and Sapphire was able to get them out of the cop situation. Cayden shifted and reached out for the door handle, ready to throw the thing open and bail out with Waverley should things go south with the glowing girl. Whatever was happening, it didn’t sound like she was enjoying herself.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Palace Grounds -- Behind the Stands -- Midgard - The Castle
Skills:

Cuyler stood in the shadows, hearing the roar of people and the smell of various foods, both domestic and forign to this land. He had his axe out, flipping it this way and that, ready to use it should his companions want more of a lead. Of course Arnora used her gift to track it to this specific area, but they might be able to narrow it more and find this stone quickly before anyone became curious as to what the Asgardians were doing here, again. ”You should have brought Halden. He would have liked all of this,” Cuyler remarked to Myth. Of course they were on a quest and it was no place for a baby but Cuyler had found an odd comfort in the small child and it would have been nice to focus on his reactions to the goings on around them.
With the increase in activity since Cuyler’s vision of Ragnarok and the presence of Infinity Stones, Cuyler hadn’t much time to breath or process. He stole precious minutes with his tiny cousin when he could and it seemed all the world fell away when he was holding the small thing. But as it would, life moved on and Cuyler wasn’t permitted to take a moment and process. Things were happening on Asgard in preparation for Ragnarok and Cuyler was sent to Midgard to go find some stone. He was having a hard time justifying this work over being on Asgard, preparing and training. He had felt more and more on edge every day since his vision and being sent here was bothering him. Cuyler ran a hand over his new eye patch and down his braided hair, a new habit he had developed since the loss of his eye.

Amarantha

Location: The Throne Room -- The Palace
Skills:

As soon as Amarantha stepped through the door, moving away from the sunlight to the dull lighting of the Palace, she slipped off her hood and mask, before continuing down the hall to the Throne Room. As before, servants and other Palace staff slipped out of her way but now she was followed by hurried whispers and hushed words. Her eyes glanced over each of them and she grinned at a particular nickname that seemed to be following her these days. Yes, she quite liked that one.
The secular games were upon them and Amarantha had been planning this for months. She was eternally grateful to a former ExtraOridinary Wizard ghost and the ghost of famous Alchemist Marcellus Pye who managed to have a serum crafted for her. She had to take the thing once a month to suppress the basic urges of being a vampire but the Commander of the Guard was back, even if she had a particular fondness for raw meat and bunny blood.
Amarantha entered the Throne Room and bowed before walking up to the Queen and her siblings. She clasped a hand over her heart and bowed her head before speaking. Yes, Amarantha was groveling for her former behaviour to Valda. In her defense she had been diminished down to her animalistic self and had no filter of any kind. ”The Guard is in place as well and Titan is stationed within the Royal box, awaiting your arrival,” Amarantha informed the Queen. As for Amaratha, she would be slipping back into the shadows for the duration of the games. Not only because of the sunlight having a nasty way of burning her instantly, although it didn’t outright kill her, but also to keep on eye on everyone foreign. They had allowed a lot of enemies, people they were warring with currently and potential threats into the Castle and Amarantha wanted to keep a close eye on them all. Amarantha looked over at Luna and shared a private smile with her before looking back at Valda.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Outside The Throne Room -- The Palace
Skills:

Ahote stood a few paces behind Myrus in the throne room. Even though they were inside, the room was abuzz with the various royals from distant countries, all of them sizing each other up and trying to think ahead of what the other would do. Ahote’s eyes wandered to all of them, trying to get a feel for them all but with so many auras in one place, it would be hard to get an accurate reading so Ahote didn’t even try. He looked back when Myrus volunteered to be Valda’s champion. Something pulled inside Ahote’s chest and he smiled at the floor. Ahote was quite proud of Mryus and the progress he had made with his learning as well as the growing he had done in these last few days.
Ahote stepped forward after Mryus made his offer and bowed his head to Valda. She knew she didn’t care for the dramatics of bowing completely but this was a formal event with her enemies looking on and judging every move, he didn’t want her to be seen as weak because she was far from it. ”I too, would like to volunteer as tribute,” Ahote declared. He respected Mryus’s desire to represent his home and his country but he wanted to give Valda the option. True, Ahote was not from these lands by birth but he had been prepared to protect them ever since being drafted by Amarantha for his current position. Ahote glanced over at Amarantha and smiled, glad she was back. She may be different now but her heart was still for this country, even though it no longer beat as his or Valda’s did.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Stark Tower -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

At least they had a rough idea, that relaxed Antoinette a little bit and once they were on the ship, they would be able to track the device better. Like most of the others from the academy, Antoinette perked up at the idea of being able to wear an Iron Man suit, now that would be something else. Her own eyes sparkled and flashed from the idea of it, she could picture it clearly now. Not only would that cut down on their time, but it would also come in handy should they need to make their own distractions, plus their safety.
Antoinette shook her head after Carolina messed up her hair, looking up and going cross eyed as she tried to smooth hair she couldn’t see. Her eyes snapped back when her friend suggested possessing the Silver Surfer. Now that just sounded like a horrible idea to her, making Carolina’s body vulnerable for one and risking all of their exposure for another. She grabbed onto her friends hands and looked at the others in the room, the ones who seemed to be calling the shots. Antoinette wasn't completely comfortable with the idea of it, or the possibility of loosing her friend. She didn't have much, didn't need much but Carolina, she had become a sort of lifeline to Antoinette as of late.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna was able to keep Sabertooth bound and kept it up even when Veil pinned him down, for extra assurance. Despite Spark Plug not being able to deduce Luna’s clever analogy, she was able to shock the creature with use of water when Veil destroyed the sprinkler system. Between the three of them, they got Sabertooth knocked out. Luna released her hold and a rush of air and release overcame her. She let out a breath and nodded in agreement to Spark Plug’s idea of getting out of there. ”We should keep trying to find the others and Emma,” Luna said but followed after Spark Plug. They seemed to work better together, she wasn’t about to suggest splitting up.

Luna inched around Sabertooth before falling into step next to Spark Plug. They needed to find a faster way to get to everyone else but that also depended on who Veil wanted to find. ”If you want, I can see about tracking the others but it would work better if you narrowed it down to one or two people you want to find right away,” Luna suggested to their leader. Luna wanted to locate Emma Frost personally but she would hold back her own vedetta.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Van/Road -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden automatically ducked down as shots started to be fired, he even hovered over Waverley a little while she hacked into the police radios and hopefully bought them some time. ”Maybe slow down a little Sapphire… I know we are short on time but even though the cops are called off, they might leave one behind since we are speeding…” It was just a suggestion of course, Cayden would do what he could to keep the police from taking the driver out.
Once the shots stopped, Cayden shifted, pulling his arms back from blocking Waverley and settled into his seat. Even though they had two deranged people in the back, he seemed oddly relaxed while speeding through a city that was foreign to him. He didn’t know where a good place to lay low would be, all he saw were back alleys and more buildings. Not much of a, middle of nowhere place, was D.C. Periodically, Cayden would look behind him at the unconscious persons, making sure they weren’t awake and about to stab him in the back or something.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

”Mmm soup. I’ll have a coke as well,” she informed the waiter before looking back at the menu. She flipped through it a couple of times. ”I think I’ll have some sweet n sour pork with chicken chow mein and noodles,” Cassiopeia declared. She settled into her seat and looked around the restaurant. This place did well, despite the lack of it seeming busy. Most of their business was take-out Cassiopeia imagined. Which was smart since a major disadvantage about eating in was having to sit in a restaurant that smelled amazing but you didn’t have anything to eat yet.
Cassiopeia pushed around some sugar packets, rearranging them in the dish by colour while she thought about her twin sister’s proposition. ”Maybe we should. I don’t know what good will come of it though. Not like our parents were ever around to begin with. What use is it getting information on them now.” There was a bit of an edge to Cassiopeia’s voice but it was filled with a tiredness. She had longed to know who her true parents were when she was younger but as the years passed, she gave up on the idea of. Whoever they were, gave up on them so what was the point searching for someone who obviously didn’t want to be found.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow smiled a bit at Sierra and nodded, thanking her for the free coffee. She leaned against the back of the booth she had been sitting at but didn’t take a seat. She was a bit on edge still from what had just happened and the fact that she was now skipping school. Maybe caffeine wasn’t a good idea to consume. Willow overheard the group talking a bit and couldn’t help but tune in, a distraction would be nice for her.
Sierra came back over and Willow took the coffee from her graciously and took a small sip of the black liquid. The harsh taste soothed her quickly and now she needed to add some sugar to it. She moved around to the table, setting the cup down and grabbed a couple sugar packages. ”A letter?” What was so strange about getting a letter? Of course, Willow had gotten a strange letter today but what were the odds of two strange letters. Willow had nearly forgotten about that strange letter, speaking of danger and birth parents. She still needed to talk to her parents about that.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Inside the Big House/Infirmary ---> The Arena -- Camp Half-Blood

The horn sounded, signalling that everyone was to drop what they were doing and head to the arena. Ezekiel sighed, he wouldn’t be able to hide from this one. Ezekiel took the peppermint and put it away so it wouldn’t completely dry out and then he could make the paste or another Apollo could make it for Rosie. He topped off her tea before taking the cup from her so she could get into the floating chair. ”Just as long as it doesn’t suddenly drop out,” he said, eyeing the chair suspiciously.
Ezekiel helped Rosie get into the chair before giving her the tea back and they made their way to the arena. The one thing that everyone in this camp was quick about, was getting to that arena when the horn sounded. That and maybe the starting of Capture the Flag. Even when monsters would attack the barrier, not everyone rushed to go see what was going on. This was different though. Ezekiel looked around, finding where his house and half-siblings would all gather and normally sit. He found them easily as most of them all had the same shining blonde hair and any sunlight was usually attracted to them, making it seem like they were glowing. Ezekiel looked away from them, all nerves and decided to stick with Rosie just encase she needed something.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Sinister’s Lair -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Binding

”Trying to,” Luna ground out. She was concentrating extra hard on this one as he was greatly pushing back on her. Miracle upon miracle, she was able to push him back a bit more and keep him straining in position. It seemed he had a great healing factor so doing anything on the outside, was useless. ”Spark, you wouldn’t happen to know anything about brain waves would you? Think of the inner workings of a car,” Luna said, playing on their mutual knowledge about mechanics. ”The wires, short circuit him if you can. Nothing we do on the outside will keep him down for long.”
Luna didn’t dare move a step, her complete concentration was on keeping Sabertooth at bay to buy the other two some time in dispatching him. She didn't want to risk stepping forward to use some of her other talents in order to take him down. Luna didn’t even want to try to speak to him to have him stand down or play dead for all she cared. She remained focused on keeping him in place while the others tried to think of a quick plan.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Roundabout Gift Shop - JFK Memorial Hospital ---> Van/Road -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden didn’t linger long either, following after the others to get to the vehicle as quickly as possible. He was barely inside when Sapphire floored it and he fell against whoever was sitting beside him before he could right himself and put on a seat belt. Cayden looked behind him at the spasming Magik and the dying Vulcan in the back. ”So medical treatment 101 on the move? Or are we waiting until we get back to the Underground?” There wasn’t much any of them could do about the cop situation other than drive like hell so if there was anything they could do now, Cayden would help, despite him having the urge to push Vulcan out the back and blame faulty locks.
Cayden shifted in his seat, facing forward again and untied the leather piece that was holding his hair back and wrapped it around his wrist again, tying it nicely and securing it with his teeth. His pushed his hair back with his hand and let out a breath, leaning back in his seat as the world zoomed by outside his window. What a whirlwind of activity these past few days. Cayden felt like he could sleep for a week due to all the activity and adrenaline rushes he experienced.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Well of Mimir -- Asgard
Skills:

Oddly, Cuyler let out a sigh of relief when the mysterious hooded figure plucked his eye out. There was an initial shock and pain but it was quickly covered by the quick healing of his skin, covering the terrifying extra hole in his head. He ran a hand over where his eye used to sit and felt the tender new flesh there. It was going to take some getting used to, maybe he would get a patch like Thor. What would Thor think, having someone else with a missing eye in the family. Odin, Thor and now Cuyler. He couldn’t help but smile a little from the thought.

Cuyler focused back when a chalice appeared and he was instructed to drink. The chalice was of no impressive make, clearly not from the iron smiths on Asgard and it could use a bit of a shine. Cuyler shook out his hands, letting out a shaky breath before he took the cup. ”May the odds be ever in my favour,” he said before he brought the solid cup to his lips and tipped it back to drink from the water of Mimir. His only eye rolled back in his head as he was overtaken with a vision. It was Ragnarok and although hearing stories and tales of what it would be like, there was nothing that could have prepared him for seeing this. It was as if he were actually there, amongst the fire and clanging of metal and the cries of people as death claimed them. It reminded Cuyler of the gulls that cried on the sea, following him into port. Cuyler started walking, following a pull as the vision pulled him along. People dropped around him but no one touched him, not even the blood as limbs were severed. Nor did he stumble as the world seemingly shook and opened up around him. As he neared the epicenter, the pull felt stronger and his steps quickened. This person, whoever he was, he was the start of this devastation. Cuyler narrowed his eyes as the target came into view. Their back was turned, a black cloak billowing out around them in a most unnatural way. He began moving with purpose, his long strides covering the distance quickly. Reaching out, Cuyler grabbed the cloaked person and turned them around. His eyes widened and he stepped back from the person. It was no male, it wasn’t Fenrir or any of the suspects. It was Arya.

Cuyler came back after the reveal of the bringing of Ragnarok and Cuyler dropped to a knee, both from the shock and from the sudden change again. He stared at the water at his feet, feeling a strange sense of hollowness along with utter grief. Rowland said that Cuyler was going to have to stop Arya, to end her Darkeness but this... He hadn’t expected her to be the end of worlds. Cuyler looked up at the hooded figure. ”What does this mean?” Cuyler felt like he was lost at sea, much like he had on the day his village had been destroyed and he had no compass to guide him where he needed to be.
