Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Warehouse -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia looked over at another girl who had walked in. She seemed a bit young and had a hard look about her. Her questioning the rest of them for being there added to that. ”If you feel that way, then why are you here?” Casssiopeia asked bluntly. If she was going to judge them all for the same thing she was doing then she could take a hike as far as Cassiopeia was concerned. She returned her attention to Merlin and watched a chest open up, seemingly by itself to reveal a cache of weapons. Cassiopeia was more comfortable with her bow and her sister’s knives that she didn’t go over to investigate further.
Cassiopeia tugged on her ear and scratched the back of her neck, looking around and feeling a bit anxious from all the unknowns. She turned to her sister and nudged her with her arm. ”Come on Layla, let’s go get our stuff. The cats are probably going mental now anyways.” Cassiopeia needed a breather of air as well and it seemed they were still missing people so they had time.

Willow Jones

Location: Warehouse
Skills:

Willow glanced into the chest, looking over some of the weapons inside. Willow had been training in kickboxing and had a good form as well as skill but she had never used a weapon. She didn’t even know where to begin. Her phone chimed and Willow pulled it out to see Sierra had texted her. She smiled, finally. She opened up the message and her smile fell. ”Merlin,” she said quickly and walked over to him. ”A couple of my friends are in trouble. You met them in the park earlier, they are like us. We have to go help them,” she said fiercely and handed him her phone so he could see the message.
Willow had always had a fierce determination when it came to helping people. She loved to help and support people in any way she could. Sometimes it came across as a bit selfish and one sided as she often had to be at the forefront of helping and in some sort of leadership role when it came to but her determination helped her always get the job done. Sierra was a friend, even if it was new and she liked her, more than Willow understood so of course Willow needed to help.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus -- THE ROAD
Skills:

Ezekiel shifted, ready to take on more Centaurs if he needed to. He could keep pushing through the pain, the adrenaline was working great. He watched in awe as Janelle killed one and seriously wounded the other before Kristin finished it off. Ezekiel looked around, double checking they were save, at least for the time before he pushed the hilt of the sword and it retracted back into the sun pendant. Ezekiel groaned as he brought himself to the ground and examined his wounds.
Ezekiel opened up his pack and pulled out some disinfectant and cleaned up his hands before he gritted his teeth and plunged his fingers into his leg to remove the arrowhead. Blood soaked his pant leg and covered his fingers as Ezekiel fished out the arrowhead. Ezekiel breathed deeply, feeling a wave of dizziness but managed to give Kristin a sly look when she asked how he was doing. ”Better than the broken arm,” he joked. In his previous quest with Kristin, Ezekiel had broken a few bones, including his arm and he never wanted a broken bone again if he could manage it.
Before Ezekiel took the offered nectar from Kristin, even though he had a bottle of his own, he plunged his fingers into his shoulder and removed the second arrow head. He took the nectar from Kristin with his uninjured arm and drank from it gratefully. ”Do you mind rinsing those off for me? I’ll keep them to craft new arrows,” Ezekiel explained to Kristin.
After his wounds started to close up and the dizziness left him, he looked over at Janelle. ”Bad ass move back there stabbing the Centaur in the eye by the way. Some serious trust you have in your abilities that some of us are still having to learn,” he complimented. Sure, in the heat of battle all of the demi-gods natural abilities took over but they could still see what they were doing. They could trust more easily what they were doing in that sense.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills: Enhanced Intuition;

Antoinette watched the couple dance to the finality of the song, feeling dreamlike and inspired to paint another portrait of the happy couple. She was wondering how Guin would feel about that when Wanda walked over in a rush and pulled Pietro away quickly. Antoinette was confused, watching this until she saw Guin grab a glass and smash it before she started marching over to something in the corner and threatened the unknown assailant with the smashed glass. Antoinette quickly hurried across the dance floor before knowing what Guin was so focused on, wanting to be there to back her up. It was her wedding day after all and although Antoinette figured Guin would be one of those brides to do one of those trash the dress things, she didn’t think Guin would want it to be with blood.
As she came up behind Guin, Antoinette could see the shadowed outline of a person but not who it was. Guin had called the unidentified person, metal head but Antoinette couldn’t physically see them in order to determine who the name belonged to. ”Right behind you Guin,” Antoinette said, her voice quiet but strong. She would defend her friends and the other wedding guests if that was what was needed. Her blue eye started to glow faintly but she still couldn't determine who the person was.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Old Mutant Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna looked over her shoulder at Veil when she explained they couldn’t bring Max back and Luna couldn’t help but agree. He couldn’t keep switching sides, waiting for the one team to fix him up before he got bored or annoyed and switched to a different team that was doing something exciting. She chuckled when Max spoke up but if he was in good humor, even painful humor then he would make it.
Luna sighed as she saw herself fade out a bit and stood, knowing that Veil had just made her and everyone but Max invisible. As she stood, Max seemed to come to in a lively way and started talking about how Leighton was dead. From the look on his face, Luna was hard pressed not to believe him. His story however, was confirmed when Waverley spoke up about there being an altercation at some local donut place.
Luna walked away from Max, over to Veil and Callie, hearing her offer to take Max to the local mutant friendly clinic. ”I can go with your brother and Spark Plug to take Warlock if you want,” Luna offered Veil. ”As for Leighton, it is tragic that she has died but that place will be swarming with cops right now. Unless you can remain cloaked and carry her out completely unnoticed, it might be too much of a risk.” Luna hadn’t known Leighton well enough to be hurt by her death but she was sad at the death of yet another mutant. Luna had a feeling the Hellfire Club had gotten to her before she could get out.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Cayden & James’s Bedroom -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden sat there, listening to the story with wide eyes. ”Whoa, that’s pretty intense. Sapphire killed someone? Well no wonder Veil had her cloaked earlier. That’s crazy man but thank goodness things are back to normal. I mean well, we still have mutants fighting mutants and humans out to get us as well so, still a lot going on,” Cayden said and leaned back against the wall. It would have been an interesting world to see but as someone who had been on the revieving end of discrimination and rascism for years before even becoming a mutant, Cayden knew that it didn’t matter who the victims of a genocide were. It was still bad and needed to be stopped.
A nap sounded excellent to Cayden as well but once the team arrived, he would leave to give James and Casper their privacy. They had gone through hell and had just come back to this reality it seemed. They needed time and the ones who didn’t remember the alternate universe needed time to process as well. "I think James might be onto something with that Cas, and not just because he has an ability to heal people."
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Houston, Texas ---> RUNNING WITH THE BULLS
Skills: Stamina;

Ezekiel turned his head and smirked at Leda before he focused on walking, holding his head high. "Well she is my auntie," he reminded her. It was a rather quiet walk, for the most part. Monsters started to close in around them but Ezekiel only stopped when the ground started to shake. He felt the vibrations up his legs and turned around to see the giant bull before it slammed into him and Leda. He cried out as he was flung and hit the ground, getting pretty banged up. His arm was definitely broken and judging by his labored breathing, Ezekiel guessed a few ribs were broken as well. He hissed his pain as he stood, tears pricking his eyes as he tried to hold his arm in a position that wouldn't be jostled. That didn't last long.
Leda came over, saving him and Kristin from the bull but his broken ribs were compacted and his arm jostled. He howled in pain once they stopped but Ezekiel, nor the others would get much of time for recovery. The bull was right on their heels. Ezekiel had a broken arm so using his bow was out of the question and traditionally, his sword required two hands but he would have to try and manage with just one.
He pushed the center of his pendant and it opened up to his angled sword. He had a decent grip on it but he could feel his entire body shaking from the pain but he was at least managing through it. "I'll keep it distracted, you guys look for an opening. Take my bow if you need it Kristin," he offered.
Ezekiel shifted and waved his sword at the bull, trying to get its attention while he cradled his broken arm to his chest. Ezekiel had never had a broken bone before but he could tell he didn't want to get another one anytime soon.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Atlanta, Georgia ---> Houston, Texas
Skills: Tracking;

Ezekiel dozed in and out on the drive. He didn't have any worries about Leda drive, despite the car accident. It hadn't truly been her fault and Ezekiel knew she would be on top of it from here until the end of the trip. He woke and stayed awake when Leda took her nap but dozed again while she drove the rest of the way.
Ezekiel was awake now, stretching out before he grabbed his stuff and got out of the truck. He yawned and finished up a bottle of water before looking around. He wasn't to surprised to hear there were monsters in the area. This was the epicenter of where they needed to be at the moment. "Well let's just hope or rather pray that Artemis and her Hunters help us out," he said and looked around.
Ezekiel shut his eyes a moment, getting a lay of the land before he opened them. "Still, it would be best to keep to the back alleys in order to get to the comedy club. This way," Ezekiel said and started up the road. He pulled out the medallion from his pocket, the weight a comfort in his hand while they walked to meet Marsyas and save Calliope.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Warehouse -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

”But you’re saying that they’re alive? Even if you haven’t kept in contact with them,” Cassiopeia asked immediately, seeming to stumble over her words in her rush to get them out. She felt her sister’s presence and grounded herself next to her. She looked over at Layla and rolled her eyes. ”It’s a little late for that don’t you think?” Sure they could all gang up on Merlin and take him out if he were lying to them but that didn’t seem the likely scenario anymore.
Cassiopeia looked over when she heard the door open and nodded back to Colby when he and Matthew walked into the door. She looked back at her sister and then Merlin. ”Alright, you got us here. Now what?” Her curiosity and desire were now the driving force to Cassiopeia’s answers.

Willow Jones

Location: Warehouse
Skills:

Willow handed the note that was in her jewelry box to Annabelle to see and maybe feel more comfortable with this entire situation. She looked at Merlin and listened to the one girl question him. Willow herself felt okay with the situation. She wasn’t completely comfortable and her heart was racing from uncertainty but she was okay with it. She was okay with something new and different. ”I trust him,” she said confidently. Not that it would matter much to people who didn’t know her but she needed to say it.
She took the note back from Annabelle and walked over to where Merlin stood, visibly taking a side and stood there, looking at the others while she clutched her jewelry box. When Willow started University, she thought that was going to be the start of her new life and big changes. She had no way of knowing this was going to happen and be the real change of her life.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus -- THE ROAD
Skills: Stamina; Sword-Fighting

Ezekiel’s eyes narrowed as the Centaur’s broke from the tree line and started to come after them. He narrowly avoided the Centaur’s blow dart while the other two girls had their hands full. He was just bringing another arrow up to fire when the net was thrown over him and he was pulled down and was starting to be drug away. He cursed from the pain of shifting arrows and dirt getting into his wounds. He reached up and snapped the arrow in his shoulder so it wasn’t so long and did the same with the one in his leg before he started to grab and pull at the net. He roared in frustration and fear as he was still being drug away.
Kristin was there a moment later, cutting him free and the ease in his chest he felt after that was incredible. He didn’t have time to thank Kristin though. He got the pendant out of his pants pocket and pushed back up to his feet, grunting in pain as he did so. He pushed the button at the center of the sun and the pendant transformed. Ezekiel swung around with his sword, gripping the hilt with two hands and attacked the nearest Centaur.
He roared his frustration again as he hacked into the Centaur, killing him after a few deadly slices. The roaring was a way for Ezekiel to vent his pain and breathe. He was breathing heavily through the pain and adrenaline of the moment. He turned after the Centaur turned to dust and narrowed his sights on another one. He stepped forward, ignoring the burning pain shooting in his leg and thrust his sword into another Centaur, killing it as well. Two Centaurs remained.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills:

Antoinette’s smile remained and she nodded to Lance’s no to dancing with the pair of them. She looked around to see if Guin and Peitro were dancing yet but they were just heading onto the dance floor. ”Seems like they are just about to have their first dance,” she noted. She released Carolina’s hand so that she could go to the edge of the dance floor and watch the newly married couple dance. She held her hands in front of her and smiled as she watched them dance and speak quietly to each other.
This had to be her favourite part of the wedding so far and there had been so many wonderful parts so far. As she watched them dance, her eyes wandered to the various groups of people and how everyone mingled with those they knew. It seemed to be a bit of a reunion for a lot of famous mutants. Antoinette returned her attention to the dance couple and wiggled her fingers along to the beat of the older song.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Old Mutant Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna started to shiver from the decrease in temperature and she watched as her fingers started to shift to white at the very tips. She started to worry when they started to feel warm again. She had never had frostbite before but she knew it was a bad thing to have. She grasped her arms and shivered a bit. Leather didn’t keep you warm in the cold. She ducked instintively when she heard glass shatter and then Sapphire left as did the cold. They would all probably have to have James look at them now.
”I can call James,” Luna offered Veil, if she didn’t want to bring Max to the new hideout, which Luna was fine with not doing. She looked back at Max and walked over to him. She knelt down in front of him. ”How are you feeling? Think you can hold on until James gets here?” She had some in-field first aid training so she could help him if he needed it. She stripped off her jacket so she had more freedom and examined his wound.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Cayden & James’s Bedroom -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden settled onto his bed, resting his arms on his knees and watched his friends, eager for a good story. He smirked a little as Casper called him by his new nickname but listened in on Casper's story. His eyes widened and he leaned against the wall, staring at his arms and hands a moment. ”So anyone not on Magneto’s side was hunted? Human and mutant a-like?” He trailed off and looked around their slim room. It wasn’t much but it was home and it was theirs. He frowned, looking angry and shook his head. ”That’s just awful. How did you guys get her to turn it back? A casino? Now that sounds more realistic,” he teased Casper. ”Thieves hmm? So kind of pirates then!”
He shifted, crossing his legs and leaned his elbows on his knees. ”I hope Ben comes back. Then I can tell him Nutella is not the be all and end all but Doritos on the other hand… I still wish I had a bag. Maybe I should call Veil…” Hopefully Ben did come back soon. They all knew Ben but of course Sunshine was still a kid. A tough kid of course but still a kid and didn't see things the same way. Sometimes Cayden wished he still saw things as simply as children did but life was messy and complicated. Especially as a mutant.
