The primal urge to obsessively access your uni portal to see if your classes have been released, so you can read the syllabi thirty-seven times before class next week.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Trails ---> Warehouse -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia smirked as her sister and Rose went back and forth for a moment. She was a little defensive when Rose said she could flirt with Layla but Cassiopeia knew who Rose was and was okay with it. Her cheeks pinked a bit at the realization. Thankfully, Merlin opened a portal after a few of the other kids made their mark on Maleficent. She dropped her bow and looked at Layla. ”Well at least he could hit her,” she teased further.
Cassiopeia gave one last glare at Maleficent and jumped through the portal behind Rose. She watched Rose find her own bow before going over to their cats and gave them a much needed scratch through the bars. Cassiopeia looked back at the portal and hoped the others hurried up and all got through.

Willow Jones

Location: Trails ---> Warehouse
Skills:

Willow’s eyes were still on Merlin when he made the portal and she breathed a sigh of relief. She gave one last look at Maleficent, albeit a triumphant one before she jumped through the portal. She turned and gave Sierra a hug before giving one to Rose once she came through as well. ”I am so glad you both are alright,” she noted. ”It would have been hard going to Acadia without you two or knowing you picked a different side.”
Willow relaxed a bit, even though they weren’t completely safe yet with the portal still opened. She looked over at the two people who were in the warehouse already. One she recognized as one of the people who had left when she first got to the warehouse and the other she didn’t have a clue who it was.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Greyhound Bus Station ---> Streets -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Archery

Ezekiel grinned, listening to Janelle continue to giggle. She had quite the giggle and he didn't mind hearing it in the least. He looked over at Kristin, opening his mouth and then closed it, pouting. ”Well it’s no fun when you point it out,” he said and didn’t mention spiders.
They continued walking, taking Janelle’s warning in stride when they came across the thing that was apparently making noises. ”Always a Cyclops,” He noted. Ezekiel got his bow and an arrow ready while Kristin pulled out her spear. He took aim, watching the Cyclops with one eye and Kristin with the other while she took a whack at his leg. As soon as she was clear, he fired off an arrow, impaling it in the creature's eye. The thing was still alive but at a much better disadvantage.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Comedy Club - Houston, Texas

Ezekiel was grabbed and hauled over to Marsyas and made to kneel in front of him. "Easy there grab hands. It won't be a fair competition if I am injured, now would it?" He looked over at Marsyas and watched him breaking and it really did look like he was about to break. How could he even bounce around like that and not damage anything? Ezekiel looked around, curious if the saytar was using magic or something to make illusions of good dancing. "Hey dad, if you could bless your son with some temporary dance moves, that would be great."
Ezekiel shrugged out of the cyclopes grip when it was his turn and stood. He watched Marsyas look over at Leda, seeming to be very curious with her. Ezekiel glanced over as well but didn't see anything around Leda. He looked at Calliope next but didn't see anything amiss with her. Still, the show must go on and he was the distraction. "Hey Mars, eyes on me while I kick your ass please," Ezekiel said.
He shut his eyes for a moment, shaking out his hands and rolled his head before he seemed to step away and then played along to the music. The beginning of his dance was a bit sarcastic, faces included but then it turned serious. At one point Ezekiel did trip, which come on, the kid didn't bloody well known how to dance but here he was. He recovered and managed to make it all the way through. It wasn't spectacular but he still did an exceptional job.
"Thanks dad." Hopefully he would get another go. Usually these things went a couple rounds, didn't they?

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Friendly Clinic ---> Outside Clinic -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy;

Luna listened to Max a bit, trying to ignore the pounding headache she had. It seemed his voice was only irritating her and she couldn’t quite wrap her head around his statement. As simple as it was. She watched Max rush James and raised an eyebrow at James, fighting off a smirk. She followed Spark Plug out towards the van and crossed her arms. ”Bloody brilliant,” she muttered.
She looked over at the other van as James pointed it out and headed over to see what was what. She tried all the doors just to find them locked. She started looking around the parking lot for any sort of blunt instrument, fighting off the fatigue but the headache was making its presence very known. Now she really wanted to smash a window just to release some frustration and anger that she had from getting this bloody disease.
Luna grinned, wincing at the twinge in her head and walked over to pick up the crowbar she spotted. She weighed it with her hands for a moment before she gripped it with both hands and walked to the passenger side window, smiling the entire time. She was definitely going to enjoy smashing this window. She sized up the window, took her stance and then leaned forward, smashing the glass to bits. A few shards went astray and cut her face but Luna didn’t even care in the least. She kept the crowbar in her hand, wiping stray glass away with it so she could unlock the van door and open it.
She walked around the van, resting the crowbar on her shoulder and gestured with her free hand. ”Your chariot awaits,” she said, her British accent thick for a moment. She looked a little manic with the cut on her face, hair a mess and face covered with debris from dust of Dr. Chan driving through the clinic wall. Not to mention the exhaustion was near making her delirious and the headache was not going away.
Luna took a breath and shut her eyes, reaching out with her mind to locate any Purifiers in their area that may be alive and on the hunt but she didn’t find any. ”I believe we are in the clear. At least from Purifiers,” she told the group. She leaned heavily against the van for a moment, another wave of fatigue overcoming her. Perhaps she pushed herself a bit too much but it had felt good to smash that window.

Antoinette McCarthy

Antoinette enjoyed her pecans immensely and watched Iris look for the bowls when she settled on grabbing a mug instead. She watched Iris pull out a joint and eyed it curiously but didn’t comment on it. She knew Iris was a little more open with her drug usage than most people and was more of a free spirit. It was what Antoinette liked about her so much. She looked back at Bethany when she cornered Iris about her limited knowledge on Loki. She had to agree that 2012 was a big event, the whole world as far as she knew had heard about it. She looked at Iris and shrugged. ”He’s very real, in every sense and just as powerful as his brother Thor but in other ways,” Antoinette said a bit more gently.
She watched Bethany fade away into the shadows, presuming to go and tell Mary just what was going on. Antoinette walked closer to the board, eating the last candied pecan she had in her hand and studied the board closely. It had been some time since she had seen the original movie but if Loki was planning this game for them it probably wouldn’t be exactly the same. She reached out and brushed her fingers against the board, admiring the paint work and secretly hoping something would happen.

Antoinette looked away from the box, seeing Iris walk into the kitchen and proceed to the oven. She looked back at the box and the game inside. If Bethany didn’t order it, who did? She looked back, seeing candied pecans that Iris had made and then Lance walked in. Antoinette smiled warmly at Lance and watched him for a moment. He had been even more distant than usual and most of the time he wasn’t even in the mansion. She wondered if it had something to do with his dad but Antoinette wasn’t going to ask him that in front of everyone. She couldn’t ask him privately either because she never knew where he was.
”Oh, I would love some,” Antoinette said and took a couple candied pecans. They were perfect in her opinion and very tasty. As she chewed she watched Bethany open up a letter and read it. Once she was done, she let the others read and Antoinette took it, thankfully the paint on her hands were dry. Loki was a well known Asgardian, Thor’s brother to be exact and him sending this game did not seem like it would actually be fine.
She read the pairs and smiled a little. Ed was new to the mansion but Antoinette liked him just as well. He had an intense focus that might make him an asset in this proposed game.
Antoinette looked back at Bethany when she asked if they knew where Mary and the others were. Her blue eye started to glow faintly before she spoke. ”Mary is most likely in the garden,” she said, her enhanced intuition helping a bit to determine the obvious.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Greyhound Bus Station -- Washington D.C.

Ezekiel smirked when Kristin said that he could go ahead and eat it. ”You never know, fried scorpion could be good. Minus the tail of course,” he said. He was about to put his bow away when Janelle pointed out that she could hear something dragging a club. Ezekiel couldn’t see anything but he wasn’t about to question the blind girl with super sensitive hearing. ”Agreed, let’s get a move on,” Ezekiel said.
He was about to move towards Janelle when Kristin did instead. Well, so much for that plan. Instead Ezekiel took the lead and started to head away from the bus depot, down the street towards the capitol building and hopefully food and not a cyclops. ”Let us know if you hear anything more Janelle. I might be able to start tracking it if we can pick up a trail and know what streets to avoid.”

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Trails -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia smiled at Rose and then shot a glare at her sister. ”Do you see any rooms around here,” she countered. Her sister was really killing the mood. Of course there was a Disney villain trying to kill them as well. Cassiopeia watched her sister throw three knives and miss every shot. Cassiopeia smirked. ”You better believe I’m never going to let you forget this moment,” she informed her sister.
Cassiopeia watched Rose shift away from the fire that was creeping closer and she focused back on Maleficent. She let loose an arrow quickly, annoyed that this person was trying to hurt her friends and was scaring the woman she had a crush on. It missed, landing near a slumped Pandora which made Cassiopeia more mad. This crazy fairy didn’t even care about her own daughter being hurt. Cassiopeia took a step forward, firing off another arrow which missed again.
Merlin expressed that he couldn’t hold their shield much longer and by the looks of it, it was starting to break. They couldn’t afford any more mistakes. Cassiopeia drew another arrow and took a deep breath as she aimed and let loose the arrow as she breathed out. She managed to hit Maleficent in the shoulder where she wanted. ”Back off and save it for another day or we’ll keep at it. We have just as much fight as you,” she stated.

Willow Jones

Location: Warehouse
Skills:

Hearing that Maleficent tried to kill Sierra, infuriated Willow. She glared at the woman who was surrounding them in fire. She looked around nervously, despite her anger as the shield started to crack and Merlin said he wouldn’t be able to hold it for long. She looked over at Merlin. ”Can you create another portal before the shield completely breaks?” She wasn’t sure it would work but Willow was more of an ideas person. She would act if she needed to but she had never harmed someone before.
Sierra managed to find a blunt object in the shape of a stick and came to stand next to Willow again. Willow was more consumed with waiting for Merlin’s answer and the continued weakening of the shield. They didn’t have much time.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Friendly Clinic -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna nodded at James, ignoring loopy Casper and walked through to the hallway. She no longer had a look into the purifiers' minds but she didn’t tell James that as she left to go check on the others. She heard Max when she walked into the hallway but started coughing from the dust due to the side of the building being blown out but what appeared to be the doctor in a truck. Five purifiers were under the wheels and Magik was being wrangled by Spark Plug.
Luna looked back at Max and questioned what he said about everything being fine now. ”Not even five minutes ago you said she was dying. What happened?” She looked back over at the wreckage and confirmed that all of the purifiers’ were either under the truck or dazed. Now would be a great time to bugger off with all of their people before the purifiers came to. It seemed most of them were of the same mentality and Luna followed them back to the room she was just in, making way to the exit and hopeful escape.

The last few months had passed in a bit of a whirlwind. There had been so much change in the world, so much unrest. Antoinette’s empathy had been a little all over the place and so most of the time, she shut herself up with her art. She seemed to be creating more fiercely as of late and quite dramatic art pieces as well. Although she did make a beautiful one of Guin and Pietro from their wedding.
Antoinette walked into the kitchen, hands and forearms covered in splotches of paint. Her hair was pinned back, small pieces falling out and fly aways everywhere. During one of her shut in days she had decided a change was in order and cut off most of her hair, leaving it just to cover her neck. It had turned out well and made her look older than her seventeen years.
She opened the fridge and fished out what she needed in order to make a sandwich. She was in the middle of the act when Bethany walked in and plopped a box on the table. Antoinette poured herself a glass of apple juice before she drifted over and peered inside.
”Jumanji? Like the movie?” Antoinette peered close at the box. ”Did you order the game for everyone to play?” She looked at Bethany closely, she didn’t seem the type to get the team something for all of them to do. Unless there was some sort of catch to it.
