Luna sighed happily, feeling more like herself as each minute passed. She wished for a few hours of sleep but there was no rest for the wicked as they say. Veil returned and Luna stood up, ready to go and fight the Hellfire Club again. She had been up against them a couple of times now and Luna had more fight in her when it came to the rivalry there.
Luna turned to follow Veil, wishing it was James going with them rather than Sapphire but after she jumped on board with Veil, James bowed out. James stopped her though and hugged her, expressing his happiness and made her laugh. ”Thanks for keeping me alive. Yes, we do need to do something.” They hadn’t had much time to really talk and Luna wanted to talk about this weird connection they had.
Luna waved goodbye to James and headed after the others. She jumped into the van, taking the seat behind Veil. Luna waited for the other two before asking Veil what the plan was. They needed to narrow down what transports of the vaccines the Hellfire Club were going to hit.

Antoinette McCarthy

Antoinette smiled and winked at Caroline when she looked her way. Antoinette was ready for the fight as well and was hoping to take Loki down for all he had done to her friends and family. It seemed everyone agreed with that notion and were planning of how they were going to get to the island. Getting there wasn’t much of a concern to Antoinette as getting the locals to safety was. They could easily take the jet there or they had several magic users that could probably help them.
”Hopefully we can make some sort of distraction to get the civilians away,” Antoinette said. Loki tended to use the locals though but hopefully they could make it in time before that occurred. If it had been later in the day, Antoinette would have suggested creating a fireworks show but there wouldn’t be much of a display with it being daylight out.

Ezekiel Kel

After Kristin killed the last one that Ezekiel had previously shot, he unstrung his bow and put the items away. He retrieved his sword and pushed the top of the hilt so that it shrunk back into the sun keychain. He looked at Janelle when she commented on the poor timing of their argument. He just shrugged, not really caring if she found it annoying. ”We’ve been doing it for years. It keeps us on our toes and we haven’t wavered in our fighting from it,” Ezekiel noted. If she found it annoying, Ezekiel would try to limit it but he wasn’t going to make any promises. It was easy to pick on Kristin.
At the mention of transport and how they were going to get the rest of the way there. ”Probably, since none of us can drive.” The last mission they had gone on, Leda was the one who could drive. Which was why they stole a car. Ezekiel supposed they could try that and between him and Kristin, one of them could get them there safely.

Cassiopeia had slept well but not nearly long enough. She heard the knock on the door and started to stir. Artemis meowed in protest but eventually stretched before jumping onto the floor and looked at his food bowl expectantly. Cassiopeia pushed herself up and looked at her room companions.
Unsurprisingly, Layla was already up and ready to go. Cassiopeia shook her head and threw her blankets back before she went into the bathroom to clean up a little, including getting in a shower. Once that was done, Cassiopeia dressed quickly in her clothes from yesterday and fed her cat. She was looking forward to the task today and meeting Rose’s mom.

Willow yawned and ran fingers through her tangled hair once she sat up. She looked over at Sierra and shrugged. ”Alright, you?” She watched Isabella walk into the bathroom and decided to get dressed first. Willow had bathed the night before at least so it wouldn’t take her long to get ready.
Willow gathered her clothes, having slept in modern clothes and turned her back to Sierra to change. She didn’t mind changing in front of others but she also felt a little shyer in front of Sierra for some reason. ”How do you think it’s going to go today?” They were on separate teams and Willow was a little nervous to be apart from Sierra, simply because they had grown close but she was also worried for the fighting and conflict that would ensue. Willow had kickboxing training but she had never had to fight for real before. She thought she always tried her hardest when training but Willow was about to find that out.

Luna took the pill gratefully from Veil. It was like she was holding the most precious item in the world right now. She blinked a few times as the pill blurred in and out of focus due to her dizziness. Luna just hoped she would be able to get the pill down and keep it down so it could cure her. Her stomach had been unstable since she ate and she didn’t think throwing up the pill would be a very good thing, especially if they had a limited supply. Luna grabbed herself a glass of water and put the pill in her mouth and swallowed quickly. She would notice the effects of the pill working quickly as her nausea faded, along with her dizziness, bloodshot eyes and splottchy skin. She was still pretty exhausted but she hadn’t exactly slept well these past few days.
She settled back in her seat, drinking the rest of her water and couldn’t help the grin of relief as she was able to keep it down and didn’t feel nauseous. She couldn’t wait for the others to take the pill and start to feel healthier as well. It had been a long and terrifying journey for them all.
Veil left the room while Luna took the pill but everyone else started to list off where they were going to go. ”I’ll go with Veil,” Luna stated. If Xavier asked them to do this and he sent her here, she felt her services could be put to best use there. As for danger factor, each mission would have their own challenges.

Antoinette listened to the banter going around the room but she remained, watching the Avengers with a quiet reverence. They each had their strengths, the X-Men and the Avengers and it was always an interesting time when they came together to fight the odds. Antoinette watched Guin bring up the security cameras and saw Loki near the Statue of Liberty just like Mary’s suggestion.
Runa spoke up of Loki’s prowess and how much of a challenge he could potentially be and the danger associated with going up against him. Ed spoke up and Antoinette had to agree with him. ”This is our fight just as much as it would be yours.” Antoinette wasn’t disagreeing that it wouldn't be challenging and hard but that never stopped them from fighting before.

Ezekiel didn’t get another chance to charge a Telekine or to have a comeback for Kristin as he and Janelle were trapped in a net. Ezekiel grunted as he moved to get the thing off but the net only tightened around them more as they moved. ”A couple Telekines found one and threw it at us,” Ezekiel told Janelle. Kristin tried to help them out by making a smaller hole but Ezekiel was busy trying to figure out how to stop being dragged away.
Janelle managed to escape and Ezekiel looked behind him when he had more space to see why. Ezekiel struggled to get himself out of the hole Janelle had gone through and was trying not to panic because he couldn’t get out like she had. Finally, he got himself out and quickly pushed himself to his feet. He didn’t like being pinned down like that but at least this wasn’t going on in pitch black darkness. Ezekiel strung an arrow and fired it at one of the Telekines that tried to drag them away. He managed to shoot it in the leg and strung another arrow to line up his next target.

At the mention of rooms and sleep, Cassiopeia realized how tired she was. They had been moving all day and although Cassiopeia was used to hikes, all her senses had been heightened for a while being in a new place. She leaned against her sister, knowing they would be sharing a room. Cassiopeia grinned when she heard there would be three to a room. ”Care to join us Rose?”
Cassiopeia picked up her things, including her cat carrier and headed upstairs, following behind Layla and walked into the room she picked. Cassiopeia tossed her bag onto one of the beds before setting the carrier down and opened it up. ”Alrighty Arty, take a look around love. We may be here for awhile.” Cassiopeia had never really traveled with her cat before and hoped they would handle the travel well. They had been awfully quiet thus far.

Willow looked to Sierra when she asked her if they wanted to be roommates. She found her cheeks warming a little as she nodded. ”Sure,” she agreed, thankful to have a friend to be able to share a room with. She wasn’t sure who their third would be but Willow was okay with any one of them. Merlin mentioned each room having their own bathroom and Willow was instantly excited to be able to clean up a little. She had a pair of pants in her bag that she would wear along with the dress but this way if she had to tear the bottom half of the dress off, she was covered.
Willow walked into the room behind Sierra and looked around. It wasn’t the Four Seasons but there was a bed and the ability to clean up. Willow set her things down on a bed and glanced around. ”This feels all so surreal,” she commented. Willow felt as if she were dreaming and it was just really vivid.

Luna watched Jack walk to a wall and start hitting his head repeatedly. ”You could always let me try hitting you to see if that helps,” Luna said with a smirk. It was her attempt at humor after an incredibly tense situation.

An hour or so later, Luna sat with everyone else in the dining room. She had managed to get something to eat before recently throwing it back up again. Her symptoms had spiked again but at least she wasn’t upstairs like Spark Plug, holding on with everything she had left. Luna had hated feeling that weak and helpless. Granted she wasn’t close to one hundred percent now, but at least she was standing.
Luna leaned against the table as she was hit with a dizzy spell when Quicksilver ran into the room. She huffed and shut her eyes, listening to his words. Luna’s eyes snapped open when she heard Xavier was giving them some of the cure he had secured. Luna looked to James, eager to have the medication administered to them all. She just wanted to feel normal again.
The other message Quicksilver had was less comforting but Xavier didn’t seem to be giving them much of a choice and Veil signed them up for the task. Another tangle with the Hellfire club seemed like it would be a good time.

Antoinette McCarthy

Antoinette stood with everyone, setting the first aid kit aside after Ed had given them a bit of an idea where Loki was for the moment. She followed everyone into the Blackbird and sat next to Carolina, asking her questions about the jungle and what she encountered as they flew to Stark Tower. It was nice to have a couple hours of rest and even though Antoinette didn’t sleep, she felt more rested.
Once inside Stark Tower, Antoinette recognized a few of them and then they met Lance’s Aunt. Antoinette wondered then if he had been spending more time with her then and learning what it was to be a hulk. Antoinette readjusted her attention to Klara hugging her father and Guin and Tony exchanging witticisms. Antoinette smiled, missing her father terribly in this moment but she knew he was safe and that was what mattered to her.
Carolina congratulated Wanda and a few others commented on her being pregnant. Antoinette turned her attention to Wanda and smiled. She thought Wanda was incredibly brave to be housing a child while being a part of the Avengers. No doubt, her child would be just as fierce in her fighting. Standing with Carolina, Antoinette waited to hear a game plan.
