”Well, I have a twenty. We can get some fuel if we don’t find cash. Or we can try syphoning fuel. I hear that is a thing,” Ezekiel noted and rummaged around for a map. If he couldn’t find one, they could stop for one but Ezekiel also had good tracking skills. Granted he had never really used them while driving but he was sure he could figure out the invisible lines and the directions they needed to be in. Half of being a demi-god was following your intuition and sometimes your parent’s voice if they decided to grace you with their presence that day. The sun was starting to set though and that was Apollo’s time. Either he would be far too busy to help or it could be the perfect time if they were caught in his light.
With Ezekiel unable to find anything in the front resembling a map, he turned in his seat and scanned the back seats, pulling stuff out of seat pockets, apologizing to Janelle for bumping her with his hand and found a map in the back pocket of his seat. ”Ah ha, here we go.” Ezekiel opened up the map and attempted to locate where they were and where they needed to get to. All he seemed to understand was the road they were on but he couldn’t figure out a route. Ezekiel groaned and looked over at Kristin.
”Have I ever told you how lovely your eyes look in the setting sun?” He decided an attempt at flattery would be better than asking for out right help. As it was, Kristin was never going to let him live it down that he couldn’t figure out a route to Texas, especially with his tracking skill. He could picture them getting home only for Kristin to run off and tell Leda immediately. Dammit.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Sewers -- Camelot
Skills:

Cassiopeia descended into the sewers after Rose and immediately regretted it. She covered her nose, feeling her stomach heave and shut her eyes. Praying to whomever that she could keep her meal down and get through this. Cassiopeia watched the rats and who knows whatever else was floating in the water until she heard Hansel. She released her nose, breathing out as she exclaimed. ”Half an hour?!” She got a whiff of the sewers again and quickly covered her nose, wishing they had more than just their sleeves to cover their mouth and nose. Cassiopeia could almost taste the smell it was that rank.
She followed the group into the sewers, keeping her face firmly covered and would only speak if absolutely necessary. Half an hour was probably going to feel like half a day down here. Cassi didn’t think she would be able to bathe enough to get the smell off of her. Not to mention the condition her clothes would be in. She was suddenly envious of Artemis upstairs in their room snug under the covers or watching birds flying.

Willow Jones

The groups parted ways and Cassiopeia smiled, following closely behind Merlin and Gretel as they made their way. It seemed everyone was on board for releasing animals but not so much the fire. Still, they were going to go through with both. At least Colby was still hell bent to light something on fire. Merlin presented a problem in saying that people wouldn’t get all excited if there wasn’t a fire source. She supposed in a land full of magic, a magical fire wasn’t something to be nervous about. A real fire though could cause destruction and potentially death.
”There must be a way to fake that as well so we don’t start a real fire. Pile up fuel and straw bales or something,” Willow noted. As the children of all these famous people and helpers of the people, Willow didn’t think going around causing destruction on day one of being in their true home was a wise idea. The people may turn on them, thinking they were no good or rouges rather than heroes. Willow knew the difference between Batman and Superman. Most people tended to forgive Superman more than they did Batman.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Liberty Island
Skills:

Antoinette looked around for signs of Loki as they walked towards the statue. The closer they got, the bigger the statue became. She tilted her head back staring up at the remarkable thing but had to stop to keep her neck from hurting. Antoinette grinned at Carolina and Neil. ”That would be great Lina!” Hopefully she wouldn’t be in the way if she tagged along. Neil had always seemed closer to Carolina but her and Neil were starting to get close thanks to D & D.
They reached the statue and Antoinette looked at the door. ”He might be… It would be a good place to have everything set up.” Antoinette decided to open the door, finding that it opened simply and she stepped inside, looking around for signs of Loki or anything out of place. Nothing seemed unusual to her but she looked back at the others to see if they were seeing something that she may have missed.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Garage ---> Van, Veil’s Group -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

If Veil could keep them invisible, they should easily get into the building. Luna could check the minds of guards as they passed to see when the shipment was coming in or if it was already on sight when they got there. If they were caught destroying the vaccines, that could go against the mutants as well. Not that it would matter much, the vaccines would do nothing on humans.
Luna fell silent in the back seat, listening to the others and the plan that was being formed. She needed to get herself ready as much as she could with limited sleep and having just recovered from M-Pox. Other than Kristina, Luna had worked with the others and even if they didn’t all get along all the time, she trusted them to work as a team. When Kristina mentioned she could fly, Luna looked back at her. ”What else can you do. I’m Luna by the way, or Glimpse,” she said introducing herself.

Half a tank of fuel wasn’t bad, they would probably have to fill up at least once before they got to their destination. Not to mention needing to stop for snackage and to use a bathroom or two along the way. Ezekiel didn’t actually know how much further they had to go. He could track well but couldn’t judge distance well.
”Positive thoughts Janelle,” he reminded her when she went on about this not being a good idea. Sure, it wasn’t a good idea but they were fresh out of those and they were on a time constraint. Echidna already knew that they were on the hunt for her so really, what more did they have to lose. They were going to be coming across all sorts of things on this last lag of their journey. There were more important things to worry about than the legality of driving without a license.
Ezekiel popped up the center console, finding nothing of use in there, he checked the door as well and then the glove compartment. ”Jackpot. We’ve got a few credit cards, I.D., car insurance and sweet, road tunes. Who leaves their wallet behind?” He shook his head and checked the dates on the credit cards and car insurance to make sure everything was valid.
Upon further inspection, Ezekiel found the car insurance was outdated but the credit cards were good, that is if any had money on them. ”So, definitely don’t get pulled over. The insurance isn’t valid but the credit cards are still valid. Hopefully, they don’t report anything stolen so we can at least use them.”

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Cassiopeia’s eyes widened as she watched Megan pull a fork out of Isabella’s hand. ”Remind me not to piss her off,” she whispered to her sister and Rose. Cassiopeia finished the rest of her meal, avoiding staring too much at the modern day Wednesday. Cassiopeia thought she was a cool girl, not conforming to the normal but perhaps she was a bit, much.
The teams were ready to split off and head out. Cassi wasn’t really all for the idea of a fire but if they could make it work safely, then she couldn’t have much say. She had her own things to worry about. She stood when Layla nudged her. Cassiopeia smiled at Rose. ”Let’s go save your mom,” Cassi said and boldly took Rose’s hand and pulled her along; although, she did try talking to Merlin about the distraction team’s plan again.

Willow Jones

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Matthew spoke up, branching off of the idea of Willow’s and Colby’s. She smiled, grateful that someone else thought her idea was a good one. Two distractions were better than one she supposed and it would split the guards attention. A scream distracted her and Willow’s eyes widened in alarm when she saw a fork in Isabella’s hand. Megan didn’t just really do that did she? Willow averted her gaze and nodded to Sierra’s words. ”I hardly think it was a mistake,” she agreed.
Willow picked at her food, not having much of an appetite but when talk of heading out started, she grabbed a muffin for later and stood. ”I guess I will see you later,” she said to Sierra. ”Good luck.” She smiled before she turned to join Gretel, Merlin and the rest of the distraction group.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Stark Tower ---> Liberty Island
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

They made the trip to Liberty Island quickly and Antoinette stepped off the plane, following Carolina. The place was rather packed with tourists and she was worried if they would be able to get everyone off the island in time. Iris had a suggestion of how to get everyone off the island quickly but Antoinette wasn’t so sure about it. ”A fire could cause a panic, which could make the situation more chaotic and dangerous. And it would alert Loki of our presence. If he doesn’t already know,” she noted.
As she thought of Loki, Carolina mentioned the possibility of Loki being located at the base of the statue. Her blue eye grew brighter but Antoinette couldn’t tell if Loki knew of their presence. It was possible but he might not either. She sighed and looked at Carolina as her eye went back to normal.
”I’ll come with you.” Carolina had intuition too and that made Antoinette trust her assessment of the situation. If they could locate him quickly, maybe they would get lucky in ending this quickly.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Garage ---> Van, Veil’s Group -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna listened as Veil told them where they were going. She smirked a little, not being able to help and shook her head. ”Lovely.” It was a complete suicide mission. Luna had never thought of herself as expendable but she did have something to prove. She wasn’t leaving this vehicle and she was going to do all she could to stop the Hellfire Club and protect the center for American politics; even if the government wanted nothing to do with Mutants. Of course, if they got caught it wouldn’t help the mutant case.
”How should we intercept the delivery? Surround the streets and tag suspicious vehicles or hide in plain sight until we see someone, we know from the Hellfire Club?” Luna was unfamiliar with the layout of DC and the buildings Veil mentioned. She had seen such things on the internet and TV but didn’t know in great detail the surrounding area of the White House and how much area it covered. How many streets would they have to try and watch over to keep the shipment from getting through and to the President. She assumed there would be a fair amount of security, especially with the M-Pox pandemic going on and humans being fearful of getting something they wouldn’t.

Ezekiel sighed when Kristin said they would steal a car. He didn’t think it was the smartest idea and knowing their luck they would be caught. ”Well you better pray to your mom or something that she looks over us and guides your hand so we don’t crash. Leda was a good driver and yet we still crashed,” he reminded her. Ezekiel opened the back door for Janelle and shut it before he climbed into the passenger seat.
Ezekiel looked around at the modest car, it looked average, hopefully they wouldn’t draw attention to themselves but they were also teenagers. ”Honestly, it probably isn’t the smartest idea but we might get there faster than we would on a bus,” Ezekiel told Janelle. ”How much fuel do we have?” He looked to Kristin to hear the answer and see if she could really do this.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Cassiopeia followed Rose downstairs and breathed in as they walked into the room they were in yesterday and happily filled her plate with food. She sat down next to Layla and ate happily. Food always made Cassiopeia happy and she would need to have her strength up for today. Cassiopeia hoped the day would go well for them. So long as no one got hurt, then it would be a good day.
Rose spoke up when Colby walked in and Cassiopeia smirked but didn’t push the subject or reply. Rose asked what Colby thought a distraction would be and that’s when Cassiopeia spoke up. ”Let’s just keep our mind on how we are going to save your mom. A split mind would keep us focused,” she stated. Cassiopeia’s mind would wander sometimes while hunting, she never made a kill when that happened.

Willow Jones

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Willow matched Sierra’s little smile and nodded. They couldn’t really speculate and Willow had to remind herself not to worry about the things beyond her control. It was a bit different though in this situation. It was more of a life or death thing, Willow thought. Being the distraction was also dangerous, especially if people were running after them.
She helped herself to some food, munching on toast when talk about how to cause a distraction came up. Willow was curious about this herself but she didn’t want to cause destruction like a fire would. She drank some milk it looked like and moved onto different food. ”What about releasing animals through the street. There must be a stable nearby. It might be less destructive than a fire but just as chaotic,” Willow suggested.
