The primal urge to obsessively access your uni portal to see if your classes have been released, so you can read the syllabi thirty-seven times before class next week.

Ezekiel caught Madalyn glaring at him and he just winked at her before laughing at Nancy’s suggestion of drawing straws. When it came down to it, the Greeks could get along and fight together in battle but in daily life or training it was a different story. Zeke liked to pick fun and bring humor into fighting but he would listen to his leader as he needed to or make decisions as was called for. And if Nancy was a leader, he wouldn't have a problem following her. Zeke knew how important getting to join Athena was and so he would do what he could to help her achieve her goal. He shifted his weight and sat down next to Nancy, his back leaning on the table and he shrugged.
”Oh I’m sure Kristin will vy for leader and someone from Ares as well. They can hardly keep their hands off of leading anything. As for separating us evenly, where’s the fun in that?” Zeke could follow Niah’s thinking but really, what was wrong with a little healthy competition; although, after New Rome perhaps they needed to learn how to work together a bit better. ”You should definitely be a leader though Nanc, you could get a few of us into working shape. Besides, don’t you want your archery teacher on your team? I’m also fairly good at healing in the midst of battle.”

Antoinette listened to Gamora’s tale as they neared her friends. From the sounds of it, Gamora and her friends definitely needed to be arrested but Antoinette wasn’t worried about traveling with Gamora even though they clearly were criminals. Or her friend was at least. Antoinette was definitely a lot happier to be standing with people she knew though.
”Oh, that’s okay Runa. My intuition seems to be working and led me to you two. The others I believe are several floors up, heading to a large central area. If we get moving I think we could run into them,” Antoinette told them happily. She looked over at the man that was with them and smiled kindly. ”I’m Annie,” she introduced with a slight wave.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Merlin’s Tower ---> Forest --- Camelot
Skills: Tracking;

Cassiopeia wasn’t sure if she was disappointed at not being able to go on a forest day journey or if she was relieved that Merlin was able to open another portal and get them to their destination faster. She imagined they would still be several miles from Merlin's location to avoid detection but hey, the closer the better.
”Well, that was easy. You get it, like the Staples button,” Cassi said and nudged her sister. Cassi pulled an arrow out of her quiver and notched it before walking through the portal. She walked ahead, looking around for signs of life beyond those walking through the portal. Cassiopeia spotted tracks and knelt to inspect them further. She had learned tracking with her foster parents when they would go hunting. It had become an invaluable tool when she became a guide for hunts back home and it was still paying off here.
”This area is well traveled. You can see the footprints and there’s a fresh set of horse tracks as well. If we stay on this path we may be seen but it could be faster,” Cassi noted, looking back at Merlin and Megan. Merlin was the veteran of this land but it was Megan’s brother missing.

Sierra’s description on Rumpel wasn’t all that surprising. There were many different illustrations of the man and Willow always found him a little disturbing looking. She looked over when Merlin started to open a portal. Willow sighed with relief and stood, thankful that they wouldn’t have to do a day’s worth of walking. Maybe only an hour, that would be wonderful. Willow followed the others through the portal into another forest.
Willow couldn’t tell any differences between this forest and Merlin’s forest but it had to be different if Rumpel’s hideout was a day’s walk away. Willow stuck near to Sierra as she waited for further instruction. One of the twin’s seemed to find tracks that denoted the area being busy and Willow looked around, hoping someone wasn’t about to happen upon them and freak out at the large number of people.

Ezekiel glanced at the other two Nancy was seated with and rolled his eyes a little before glancing back at his half-sister. Nancy knew these people and was close friends with them so he could hardly judge but it was hella fun to annoy them and poke holes. Madalyn annoyed him to no end simply because of how take charge she was. It was bloody annoying and Nancy did a far better job at leading. He smiled when Nancy agreed to a bit of a session later on. He liked training her because it helped him hone his skills as well. Plus, if she got good enough, she'd hopefully be favoured by their Aunt and if it pissed their father off? Well, that was an added bonus. At the mention of war games Zeke tuned in a little to the conversation of the table.
”Yes, yes you want to ask the Greeks to join.” What was a little friendly competition between people of different camps. Besides that, the Romans were intense. They could teach the Greeks a thing or two and they themselves could teach the Romans to be a bit more crafty and sneaky.

Cassiopeia sighed when her sister declared she had no water on her. When they made it into Merlin’s tower, Cassiopeia looked around for some water while Megan handed Merlin a key to do a tracking spell. Cassi found a sink of water and filled up a cup, sipping some water slowly before she offered the rest to her sister. Once the location of Jack was found Cassi flipped up the hood of her jacket.
”Let’s get going then,” Cassi said and looked to her sister before heading out with the group once again. A day’s journey wasn’t so bad, that is if Jack and Rumple stayed in the same place. It also gave them plenty of time to come up with a plan to get Jack out.

”You sure? What was Rumpelstiltskin like?” Willow couldn’t help her curiosity. When Rumpel came to take Jack, she had been upstairs dealing with the birds breaking in through windows. All she knew of Rumpel was how he could spin straw into gold and tricked a girl into doing the task for her for small prices until finally demanding her first born.
Once they were inside Merlin’s tower, Willow took a moment to sit while Merlin did a spell to look for Jack. She watched the key sway back and forth until it floated, hovering over a spot that apparently meant the location of Jack. Merlin announced anyone could come and Willow didn’t imagine such an announcement was needed. Of course all of them would go, what other choices did they really have? Besides that, Jack was one of them and Rumpelstiltskin might be responsible for all their parents needing help as well.

Antoinette wasn’t deterred by Gamora’s tone or the way it seemed like she was ignoring her. Antoinette kept looking for Gamora’s friends though as well as her own. She wondered if she tried reaching out to Guin or Edus if they would hear her. Antoinette had a little telepathic ability, having used it earlier before ending up here, so it was possible.
”What did you and your friends do to end up here? I’m still trying to figure out why we were arrested,” Antoinette confessed. Her blue eye started to glow again as she searched the area, trying to get a sense of where her friends might be. She didn’t want to potentially invade her friends minds unless it was absolutely necessary. Her intuition seemed to work flawlessly this time and Antoinette glanced up. She bounced in place as she learned where a majority of her friends were. She looked back at Gamora, smiling brightly.
”I think I know where my friends are this time. You’re welcome to come with me to meet them if you want and then we can keep looking for your friends,” Antoinette offered. Gamora seemed like a woman who followed her own path but Antoinette still wanted to extend the offer. Antoinette started to move from her level up to the next though, looking for the dark hair of her friends and their specific features.
”Bethany!” She called out as she neared them, moving her way gracefully through the crowd.

Juan walked over shortly after Ezekiel sat down and offered him a carrot. Zeke rolled his eyes, setting it on the table then saluted to Juan. ”I’m certain.” He nodded goodbye to Juan and turned to the others at the table. He rubbed his hands together, starting to warm up a little again.
Ezekiel grew up in Maine, where it was winter seven months out of the year. At least it felt that way when it started to get cold. Not to mention living on the coast. The Atlantic Ocean could be rather fierce in the winter. Thank you, Poseidon. Even though Zeke grew up in winterland, he detested the cold.
Zeke watched his plate fill and snatched a couple pieces of bacon before moving to get a little blood flow in his legs. He glanced over to the Praetor table, the one where Nancy sat with her friends. He walked over to the table for a moment and nodded to everyone who sat there.
”Do you want to get a little more practice in later today Nanc? I figure you’ve already been out but thought I’d ask,” Zeke said with a shrug. He ate a piece of bacon while waiting for an answer.

A giant tree and a racoon? ”Oh! They sound lovely,” Antoinette noted and started to look around for a walking tree and a small racoon. It seemed the tree would be the easier thing to track so that is what she looked for. Her blue eye started glowing as they walked and Antoinette scanned the area, thinking of where the tree might be. She thought it would be in an area of larger capacity but she didn’t see it in the immediate area they were in, which was pretty large. Was there another common area in the Kyln perhaps?
No matter how hard she tried, Antoinette couldn't get a read on where a tree might be. She scanned the area, looking for signs of anything. Her blue eye shifted back to its normal hue and Antoinette looked at Gamora.
"I can't seem to locate the tree using the easier way but hopefully he's not hard to spot." Antoinette went back to looking for a tree. How many walking and talking trees were there in space anyways?

Cassi ran, grateful that she made it out. She looked behind her, seeing Merlin running after her with the others but then she saw Sierra getting captured. Layla was close enough though and intervened. Cassiopeia sighed and looked at the others once they joined her. She grinned at Layla and nudged her back.
As they started walking through the woods, guard free, Cassiopeia looked into the cage to see a frazzled looking Artemis. Cassi laughed a little.
”Sorry little one. Afraid there’s going to be a lot of running going on here.” She looked over at Layla. ”Do you have any water?”

Once Merlin broke into a run, Willow didn’t hesitate in running. She was athletic with her kickboxing but she knew she would be able to run long. Luckily they didn’t have to run through. Willow ran past the gate, missing all the guards. She stopped near the others, breathing heavily and when she looked back, she saw Sierra.
”No!” She took a step forward but Cassi held her back while her sister took over and saved Layla. Willow waited for the two of them to reach them before she went to Sierra.
”Are you okay?” She felt horrible for not having noticed her getting captured until it was nearly too late.
Willow looked over when Merlin had them moving again. She stayed with Sierra this time, worried to leave her side now. She had been injured back at the pub and then nearly captured. Certainly there was a great deal of trauma and things happening now.

Snow was one thing, cold was another but the combination of both that suddenly blew up around him before being dumped over him was the worst of both. Zeke shivered and twitched as snow slipped its way down his back and chest. He heard Hermes kids and Iris kids laughing and giggling before running off. Zeke looked like a human snowman. He shook himself off but was still completely covered. He heard Kiera and felt her brush snow off his shoulder before offering to get him a cup of hot chocolate.
”Aren’t you a kind soul,” Zeke said, less than amused. He heard various laughter from the dining pavilion as he was in full sight of them all. He made a graceful bow, glad to be the source of entertainment for half the camp.
”Please, I can’t take all the credit for your entertainment today,” he said. He accepted the cup of cocoa from Kiera when she returned and took a sip of it. It warmed him inside but on the outside he was still cold. He glanced up, noting the sun and shifted his hand. While Zeke redirected the sunlight Demetri was putting his two cents in and Ezekiel rolled his eyes. The child of Zeus really needed to work on his insults.
”Stick to shapeshifting Dem. You’re positively shit at insults.” The sunlight hit Zeke and melted the remaining snow from his person. He walked into the dining pavilion and over to the Apollo table. Even his own siblings rized him a little but he took it all in stride, taking off his jacket and set it near the fire to dry.
