Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Robin Hood’s Camp -- The Moors
Skills:

When Cassiopeia looked at Rose, she thought she saw some worry or concern in her eyes. If she had, it had been quickly masked. Cassiopeia chose to focus on the prisoner instead who was less than helpful. Cassiopeia frowned, not happy with the man’s answer. He had no clue what they were wanted for, just that they were wanted alive. Cassi could only assume it had something to do with their parents.
”What do you want to do, dad?” She looked at Robin Hood, wondering if she would let the man go or cart him around. They had no use for the hostage anymore, unless there were more questions Robin Hood had but he seemed useless of information. They could let him go, but run the risk of the man bringing others back or they could kill him but that seemed like much. They could keep him as a hostage but that seemed difficult to Cassi as well. Regardless, Cassi thought it would be best if they did move camp.

Willow Jones

Location: Tavern -- Agrabah
Skills:

Aurora ordered her meal and Willow glanced over the menu one last time but still didn’t understand much of the items. ”I’ll have the same,” she agreed. Willow set the menu aside and sipped some more of her water. She was amused that Colby and his father were discussing tea parties. It sounded silly to her in this context but they were bonding as a family. ”Maybe you can host a tea party once we’ve dealt with Maleficent,” Willow suggested.
Willow wondered what it would be like after they helped their parents with the evil forces at play here. Would she go back to Kansas or would she stay here? Would she be allowed to stay here? All these thoughts and more filled Willow’s mind as she looked around the restaurant.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Dining Pavilion: Zeus Table -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel started eating Demetri’s bacon when he was assaulted. One of the beans landed in Zeke’s eye before dropping to the table and Zeke’s eye started to water. He covered it and rubbed at it from the initial shock and pain.
”Dude!” Ezekiel complained. ”Ope, sorry Janelle,” Zeke said after he realized that his voice had been louder from his annoyance with Demetri. Janelle didn’t like overly loud voices because her hearing was so much stronger to make up for the lack of sight. Of course, it could have just been more sensitive yesterday after Nancy’s yelling match with Zeke.
He felt the weight of Demetri beside him and then a hand on his leg while another tried to wipe at his eye. Ezekiel looked at Demetri with one eye. ”What are you doing?” He asked with a slight frown. ”I’m fine, don’t mother me.”
The hand on Zeke’s lap caused his cheeks to pinken a bit but Ezekiel tried to ignore them when Janelle asked a question. Ezekiel sighed, blinking rapidly until his eye settled. Kristin had already commented on it, as did the Apollo cabin, so of course the whole camp likely saw Ezekiel leaving Zeus cabin this morning.
”Dem asked me to stay since Andy stayed with Arthur last night,” Ezekiel explained to Janelle. He figured he didn’t have to go into too much detail beyond that. Ezekiel looked at Demetri. ”I nearly lost an eye. I know you’re trying to start a fashion statement with your missing eye but I demand compensation in the form of bacon,” Ezekiel said and nodded towards the remaining bacon Demi had. Ezekiel didn’t move to hold Demetri’s hand under the table but he did press his leg against Demetri’s, hoping to convey the message that Zeke was okay with Demi sitting next to him.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Sketchy Hotel Room – New York City
Skills: Enhanced Intuition; Illusion Casting

Antoinette could feel that her power wasn’t working and that Guin was doing all the grunt work. The first set of police officers entered the room and cleared it before moving on. However, the next set of officers that came in, didn’t seem convinced. They saw the room empty of people, thanks to Guin but didn’t seem convinced.
Antoinette started to panic as she tried to think of something to do to either get them to leave the room or fully believe this room was empty. If they started walking into the room more and moving things around, they would definitely run into her or one of the others and then they would be in the middle of a gun fight. And Antoinette couldn’t be in a gun fight.
Thanks to her intuition, Antoinette was getting the vibe that they would not be leaving like the head officer said. Antoinette couldn’t be completely sure though and she blamed that on the panic she was starting to feel. Antoinette tried to ignore the suspicious looking cop and focus on the illusion. If they broke cover, they likely wouldn’t be making it out of this room unscathed or at all. Who knew what this universe did to mutants?
Antoinette, curled her fingers into a fist, tensing her whole body before she relaxed it completely and pushed her illusion casting. She didn’t think they had any other option other than to try and help Guin out. Antoinette was able to successfully reinforce the illusion that the room was empty of people but she pushed it one step further. Antoinette normally only affected sight and sound but she pushed to add smell to the mix and a sudden strong smell of natural gas filled the room. Antoinette did this in the hopes that the police would bail, thinking there was a gas leak which would leave the three of them free to run from the building with Lana being carried.

Cassiopeia Hood

Cassiopeia turned to face her sister and hugged Layla tightly. ”I’m okay Lala,” Cassi mumbled into her sister’s shoulder. She held on for a little longer before pulling back and focused on her father as he fired another arrow into the man’s leg. Cassiopeia didn’t even feel bad for the torture. The guy who attacked her had it coming.
The idea of Maleficent wanting them alive didn’t settle in Cassiopeia’s stomach well. She looked at Layla then Rose before looking at her father and then the prisoner.
”What does she want us for? To try and get to our parents?”

Willow Jones

Location: Tavern -- Agrabah

Willow smiled at her mother before glancing back at the menu. She still didn’t really know what she wanted so she shut the menu and pushed it aside. ”I’ll get whatever you’re having,” Willow said to her mother and picked up her water.
Willow glanced around the tavern, noting how different and how similar it was to bars back home. She sighed a little, missing some aspects of home but also came to the conclusion that there were many more things she didn’t miss. For one thing, this place had magic which was something Willow thought she would never witness other than in movies. Hearing that the Mad Hatter did have hats that elicited different magical abilities was neat.

Ezekiel managed to choke down what he was eating but was quickly distracted from a swift kick under the table. Ezekiel looked from Kristin to Demi who was giving Zeke a look that matched the kick and Ezekiel frowned before sticking his tongue out at Demetri like any mature sixteen-year-old would. So what if his former crush was around his current crush…boyfriend? Crush? That was something Zeke wanted to figure out this morning but that was now on hold. Ezekiel was quickly hating his decision in giving into Demetri last night.
”Ya Janelle, you could join us if you want. Unless you want to sit with Jason and the others,” Ezekiel said and looked at Kristin with an annoyed look in his eyes. She’d probably want to eat with her brother before he ran off to complete his quest.
Ezekiel shifted his focus back to his original target and swiped a piece of bacon from Demetri’s plate. He munched on it successfully, payment for being kicked in the foot earlier.

”Owe!” Cassiopeia said when her sister applied pressure to her finger like a ninja and then Cassi laughed about it. It was what siblings did. They constantly riled each other up, argued about nothing in particular and spent an unbelievable amount of time with the other. They were the dynamic duo and Layla was Cassi’s best friend.
Something grabbed onto Cassi though and before she could really react, bars were pressing into her back and hands were gripping tightly around her neck. Cassi gasped, clawing at the man’s hands while her breathing got shallow and her eyes felt like they were popping out of her head. She looked between her father, sister and Rose, all of whom looked rather angry but none of them moved to help her. She vaguely heard the words of the man behind her telling them not to move or she would be dead but shock was preventing her from hearing anything else.
Still, Cassi had a pocket knife on her and she wasn’t about to go down without a fight. She slipped it out of her pocket and flipped it open, raising it to slash at the man’s arm but his grip didn’t even budge. Cassi started to panic and flipped her knife around and brought it down to try and get at the man’s side between the bars.
She connected, feeling her knife slide into flesh and she yanked it out and stumbled forward once the man released her. Cassi stumbled into Rose, clinging to her as she took in deep lungful's of air. She turned her head to look at the man who had grabbed her and glared before she spat on the ground.
”Bastard,” she cursed.

Willow listened into what the others were saying to their respective parents. Colby asked about their mothers and Matthew had a wealth of questions that he wanted answers to. It amused her slightly, hearing Matthew ask about so many different questions. It was bittersweet to hear about things that used to be.
Willow looked at her mother when she explained that she really helped with the resistance. So the shop was likely a front for that cause. It was a wonder they hadn’t been caught yet. Willow smiled, trying to put on a brave face. ”Well, I look forward to helping and learning more about where I came from.”

Ezekiel picked away at his meal, saving a couple of the better sausages for an offering. Ezekiel didn’t normally leave his father an offering, figuring it was really the only revenge he could get over his father but Ezekiel was in a good mood so he saved those pieces. Ezekiel paused in his eating to drink some of his juice when he spotted Demetri walking over to him. He seemed a little out of sorts and this made Ezekiel smirk.
Demetri sat down, his brilliant blue eyes meeting Ezekiel’s own and Zeke just grinned when Demi asked if he was lost. Zeke looked deeply into Demetri’s eyes, his real one and his modified one. He was glad Demetri decided to keep the true colour today rather than the brown.
”I only get lost when I look into your eyes,” Zeke said and winked before he took a sip of his juice. Ezekiel was just cutting into his french toast when Kristin rudely joined them.
”We’re in public and I’ll just make the excuse that Demi’s going to be sitting alone for a few days or weeks until Andy returns. Doesn’t seem fair that he has to sit alone just because his dad is a walking dick,” Zeke explained to Kristin. He popped in a piece of french toast and chewed it before covering his mouth.
”I’m good,” he said and glanced at Demi so he could answer. Kristin then called out to Janelle and Ezekiel looked up, choking on his meal a bit. He coughed, pounding his chest until the bread dislodged and he could swallow. For the love of Hera, was everyone just going to be joining the misfit table this morning?

Lance didn’t seem too happy with Guin and Antoinette at that point as he lashed out at them before walking away. Antoinette took it as a good sign that he didn’t walk out of the room and leave them alone with his sleeping sister. Still, Antoinette never was a fan of random emotional outbursts. She didn't see the point in them. They never contributed or helped anything.
Antoinette glanced at Lana to see how she was doing but Antoinette was quickly distracted with the sound of sirens and then the fact that they were getting closer. Antoinette walked to the window and peeked outside, seeing cops rushing into the building and a mix of people yelling and shouting. There was a pounding of footsteps on the stairs and then knocking and yelling on all the doors of the floor. They really couldn’t catch a break but it was probably a drug raid and not them specifically that the cops were here for.
”Honestly, I don’t think now is the time for you said, they said. We need to get out of here. I’ll try casting an illusion to make it seem like the room is empty. Stand close and no one move,” Antoinette instructed. She hoped this would work and she hoped there weren’t too many cops that would come through that door. Antoinette was getting better with her illusions every time she used them but sometimes it was hit or miss. Still, Antoinette concentrated on the room around her, holding up a hand and her purple eye started to glow brightly. She envisioned how the room would look without four people in the room.
No one is here, it’s just an empty room. No one is here, it’s just an empty room. She chanted to herself, hoping it would translate into her illusion and the telepathic ability she had with that.

Antoinette was well aware of the situation they were all in and normally Antoinette was rather good at adapting to new environments and rolling with the punches, so to speak, but there was something decidedly off about this place that Antoinette wasn't comfortable forming a plan in. If Lance was right in saying Antoinette and Guin shouldn't be seen in the streets, a sketchy motel didn't seem like a promising idea either. People may want to kill them here just as much as on the streets; truthfully, they didn't have many options.
"Guin has a rough idea where the others are," she reminded Lance. "I'm sure once we have Lana straightened out and in a safer place than here, we can locate the others and find a way back to our own time." She was glad Guin was one to speak her mind, calling Lance out made her smile a little but she refrained from commenting on that specifically.
Antoinette looked at Guin when she addressed her about casting an illusion when they made the trip to the new hotel Guin got for them. Antoinette had often shifted the appearance of her eyes when she had been on the run with her father as well as using coloured contacts. Antoinette didn't think there would be a problem casting an illusion on the two of them. She wouldn't have to project it far, just a few feet around them for anyone who came close to them.
"I should be able to do that," Antoinette said confidently. Now they just had to wait thirty minutes for their ride.
Thirty minutes may not seem like a long time for some but in retrospec, for them, thirty minutes was an incredibly long time to wait around.

Rose claimed she was feeling better and got up to join them. She smiled, trying to reassure both Cassi and Red. Cassiopeia shook her head but smiled that Rose was going to come along anyways to learn what happened. Cassiopeia was glad Rose seemed to be stable enough on her feet. That didn’t stop her from wanting to go after those people and hurt them for hurting Rose.
Cassiopeia turned her focus to her sister and father, walking alongside Layla as Robin Hood led them out of the medical tent. She glanced around the camp, noting the damage that had been done by the raid. As she looked, she stuck her finger in her mouth and turned to give her sister a wet willie, simply because why not.

Your father was killed. It sounded so strange to Willow to hear those words. She looked away from Aurora and stared at the table, not quite feeling remorse but she did feel a sort of shock. She didn’t know how to feel really, she never knew the man. Her father was back home, sharing a meal with her mother or doing something else before going on another business trip. Willow picked at the table before looking at her mother.
”I’m sorry for your loss,” she told her. It had been ten years ago, Aurora still seemed sad about it which made sense to Willow but her condolences were ten years late. ”What…what do you do now then? Just work in that shop?” Willow shifted in her seat as she asked, trying to move on from a conversation she didn’t know how to feel about.
