Frenzy was still giving everyone some grief but it was shortly resolved when Dr. Strange finally gave into everyone telling him to do something. Antoinette watched Frenzy and both Hulks disappear into the mirror dimension. That likely wasn’t going to be a good thing. Hopefully they would be able to recover Lance and his father.
Antoinette looked up, seeing Lana flying above them and discovered she was the one with the lightning power. She looked down to see that Pyro, Nekra and Phantazia were still there, though the latter two were unconscious on the floor. Antoinette kept a close eye on those two as she let the camouflage fade. Dr Strange no longer sounded pleased with them and seemed content to let them handle matters, thinking it was their problem to solve. That may have been the case but this wasn’t their world either.
She shifted uncomfortably at the tension in the room and looked up from the knocked-out people to Runa who had called out a rather untrue statement. Antoinette was hesitant to answer though. She had killed before but this seemed different to Antoinette and she struggled with the thought of it.

Once Nancy seemed to come back to herself, Ezekiel dropped his hands from her shoulders. He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets and fidgeted with the lining. He supposed Nancy losing it like that in front of someone must have been hard for her. A weakness. And for someone who was the former Roman leader and who wanted to join Artemis, weakness wasn’t good.
”Honestly, I’m glad I saw it. I mean… I didn’t know it was that bad Nanc, not that I should have had to be shown that, I should have just got it and backed off.” Ezekiel looked down, seeing the dragon there and his eyes widened before he frowned. How long had that been there and when did Nancy get a pet dragon? Shaking his head, Ezekiel looked back at Nancy.
A cough sounded behind him and Ezekiel whipped his attention around, ready to tell whomever to back off. He saw Bryan and listened to what he had to say and Ezekiel sighed heavily. He ran a hand through his hair and waved his half-brother off. ”Ya alright, we’re on our way,” he said by way of dismissal and turned to look at Nancy. ”Sounds like Rosie and your seer must have had a similar vision to yours. We should go,” he said. No doubt the others would already be at the Big House waiting for them to hear the prophecy. Ezekiel looked back at the dragon as he shifted his feet.
”Look, for what it’s worth Nancy, I am sorry. For arguing with you and pushing you there. I know you don’t need saving, you’re badass enough without our help but for whatever it may be worth, I want to be there for you. I don’t want to give you some sob story but I mean, we were both on our own for a while. I know you have your family with the Romans but you have me too.” He looked back at Nancy and stepped aside, turning to head for the Big House. ”It’s not too late to run. I could say you stole a pegasi or something,” Zeke joked.

Shortly after Antoinette's attack on Nekra, she was knocked out and Antoinette moved her attention elsewhere. She had been hit by one of Frenzy's throws but it didn't do much damage as Antoinette stumbled back. Luckily, the attack didn't hinder her camouflage and she remained hidden.
Antoinette moved around to get a better angle on Frenzy so she could hit her with a pyro attack and do some damage. She wasn't sure how long the groups were going to last here. Not now that Pyro was trying to set the building on fire.
Once in range, Antoinette shot fireworks from her hands and they showered over Frenzy's face, blinding her temporarily. She moved away from the location she fired from before speaking loudly.
"Dr Strange, sir. Maybe we should try and find an exit!" If they didn't find a way to knock out Pyro, they would have to do so with the building burning down around them. Leaving now might be the better option.

Ezekiel wasn’t sure when Nancy started to shift. Truthfully, he was still upset with her lack of sympathy for anyone else. It didn’t make sense to him that she expected him to sympathize with her but not care for anyone else. She told him that she didn’t need him to save her but it sounded different. Ezekiel frowned.
”I never said that Nanc. You’re not some damsel in distress but I want to help you.” Ezekiel watched Nancy transform before his eyes. She was calm, well as calm as one could be and then in the next she was blank faced and screaming. Ezekiel stumbled back as her power kicked in to aid her screaming and Ezekiel threw his hands up to his ears in an effort to block out some of the sound.
Ezekiel was somehow okay this time. Maybe Nancy was using her power differently, Ezekiel really didn’t have a clue but that didn’t matter right now. Her scream was terrifying him as it was one of complete fear. His heart was pounding in his ears as Nancy continued to scream, feeling adrenaline course through him as he listened to her terror and tried to decide what to do to snap Nancy out of it. He dropped his hands from his ears, walked up to her and placed his hands on her shoulders.
”Nanc, come on, it’s Zeke. You’re okay. You’re here, with me. Come on,” he begged, truly at a loss for what he should be doing. Suddenly, he missed the confines of the infirmary. Physical wounds were easy to deal with, this… whatever was going on with Nancy, he didn’t wish it on his worst enemy.

Cassiopeia looked back at the wagon and frowned. Her father’s decision did make sense but it was a little frustrating. It would have been so much easier to take the wagon than have to break it open and haul people through the woods without making much noise or leaving tracks behind. However, this was her father’s land and she would have to learn to listen to someone else making the plans rather than her.
Cassiopeia shifted back and followed her sister and father quickly to a group of bushes. She moved her bow around and notched an arrow so she was ready. She watched the others take their marks, growing hyper aware of her surroundings and those who inhabited it. It was something that happened to her when she was hunting as well. Cassi waited to see the bridge blow, eager to see what that would be like in reality rather than watching it through a screen.

Willow shook her head a little. That wasn’t entirely what Willow had been wanting to know but she supposed she would just wait a little while longer to find out what Tinker Bell was really going to do once they were in the palace. She smiled as the others came back downstairs and they started to talk more of a plan.
”I think I would be better suited to the main floor,” Willow stated. She didn’t really have a vault breaking into skills but she supposed she could make a good look out or distraction.

As Antoinette moved about the room she noticed the others starting to engage in their own fighting so she decided to keep on Nekra for the time being. The woman was starting to recover from being temporarily blinded so Antoinette had to act fast. She used her intuition to try and uncover some hidden fear in Nekra but came up blank. She had been hoping to create an illusion that only Nekra would see but with having no sense of direction how to take it, Antoinette didn’t want to risk it.
She shifted her focus and concentrated another pyrokinetic attack on Nekra but aimed for her body this time. She only managed to hit her with some sparks but followed it up quickly with another attack to her face. Fire erupted over Nekra’s face and Antoinette succeeded in burning her pretty badly.

Ezekiel gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. He was becoming increasingly annoyed with Nancy’s attitude in not caring for any other person other than her small group of friends. She didn’t have a problem at all defending them the other night when Zeke was defending himself and Demetri.
”If you stopped to think, then you would know exactly how you were tearing into Demetri but instead you are yelling at me for the same thing and of course I’m jealous! He hasn’t done a gods dammed thing for me. All he cares about is the glory I bring when he sends me on quests. I’m sick of him and the others pushing us around like game pieces and then he comes here to see you specifically and grants you a favour, what, just because you ask? That’s bullshit Nancy!” He had put himself out there for her but she had pushed him aside like the last several months had meant nothing. It didn’t matter to him that he had done the same to her. It was Zeke’s own insecurities coming out and he doubted his vulnerability would do anything. Nancy made it pretty clear she didn’t care. Well, that didn’t change his feelings for her, even though it should.
”Because I care about you Nancy for some stupid reason! Because I care what happened to you in that bloody place and if I can bring suffering to those who caused you pain, I will.” His eyes were determined as he stared down his half-sibling. There was no mistaking the fire of truth within his eyes. Deep in his core, Ezekiel cared for Nancy like they had been raised together rather than just meeting less than a year ago. ”Can’t you see that, Nanc? I care about you even if you’re pissed at me. I care about you even if you don’t care about Demi. I am hoping one day you will because he is important to me and if I matter to you, I would think that would become important as well but if it doesn’t, I’ll find a way to let it go.” Being children of the gods they had to put up with a lot of pain and suffering, a bond they all shared, but the kind of psychological and emotional turmoil Nancy went through was too much in Zeke’s opinion. She didn’t deserve that suffering anymore and she deserved to know that people cared about her. Zeke didn’t like her because of what she could give him, Zeke liked Nancy because of who she was and that included the fire in her that didn’t allow her to back down from him.
As it was, Nancy had been on her own for most of her life and at a peak moment of growth, she had experienced something life altering. Zeke knew Nancy had run to get away from her mortal parents, to start her own life and career on her own away from her already corruptive mother. At least Zeke had grown up with a mother who cared for him. The pain of Nancy trying to relive her worst moment was starting to break Ezekiel. He was a healer at heart and he didn’t like seeing anyone in pain and not being able to fix it.
”Okay, okay. Let’s just take a break for a minute, okay? It was hot in Vegas, they must have made themselves look more enticing than the other dozens of casinos on the Strip. We can keep an eye out for that. Maybe Chiron or Mr. D will have more information on this place. We can ask them for some facts.” As much as Zeke didn't like the gods, Mr. D was probably their best source of information at this point and he wasn't about to keep pushing Nancy on this subject.

Cassiopeia was ready to protest her sister’s tale and retaliate for being punched when Robin said they were both like him. Cassi beamed at him before ducking down when gestured to. She poked her head through the bushes, seeing what Robin was seeing and looked over at him before she nodded. A prison wagon. She wondered if stealing the whole wagon with horses would be better than breaking it open.
Cassiopeia turned around with the rest of them, keeping crouched down to avoid being seen. Once they were far enough away, she spoke up.
”Should we take the whole wagon, or just break it open after we ambush them?”

Willow smirked a little at Colby’s shock and then his smile. Willow suddenly wished the others were here so that they could see this other side of Colby. Even though he was a little destructive, Colby was a kind person and rather patient. Willow walked over to a counter and leaned on it while she watched the cats run off once they were inside the store. She shrugged and looked at Colby.
”Ya, alright. Maybe. I just don’t want to get scratched,” Willow declared. She looked over at her mother when she said she was going to go and get changed. Willow smiled and nodded before she looked back at Matthew and Colby. She had already changed back at the shop so she decided to look in on what Matthew was trying to learn. Willow had no magical ability so she simply read the words for something to do but she didn’t understand them. She looked over at Tinker.
”What are you going to do?” she asked curiously.

Were all women this infuriating? Nancy was yelling at him about things that were so far past the point. He wasn’t expecting a hero cookie for dating a guy or a child of Zeus for that matter. He was pissed that Nancy had disregarded Demetri like he didn’t matter. That he wasn’t involved in this as much as the two of them were. If she didn’t want him hearing her pain, fine but he had a name and a purpose in this quest and it wasn’t to be Nancy’s punching bag.
”You can tear into me all you want Nancy but you have no right to tear into someone you don’t know. Your pain doesn’t give you the right to cause others pain! And me, kiss ass Diana? I thought you were going to run to your tent and write Apollo a letter expressing your gratitude when he came down and bestowed whatever the hell that gift was! He wasn’t there for you Nanc! None of the gods were!” Apollo. Diana. The gods in general were a sore topic for Zeke and one sure fire way to get Zeke to lose it even more than he already was.
Nancy pulled away from Ezekiel, which he wasn’t surprised about but he had felt compelled to do something. She was probably right about the Lotus Hotel being indestructible but that didn’t matter. That place had broken Nancy and that had always bothered Zeke, even now.
”Let it come back! I’ll burn it down again! Let that be my eternal death for all I care. As long as I get to see it burn and no one else has to go there.” It was irrational and purely emotional but Zeke had wanted to do something since he first learned of it from Nancy. He was emotionally hot, angry, frustrated, hurt and sad. All of it revolved around the person standing in front of him and they continued to feed into each other’s need. Maybe it was what they needed?

Now he just listened to her, the things she could say and the things she couldn’t say. Ezekiel still didn’t really understand the prophecy or what she had seen but Nancy was adamant about not going. Zeke wondered if she was telling him that or begging him. He stepped closer to her, hands raised, wanting to take her shoulders but he clenched his hands and dropped them back down again so she wouldn’t pull away from him once more.
”If you don’t need to be there, then I don’t want you there, Nancy. You went in alone, didn’t you? If I’m going with Demi, maybe we’ll get each other out but you need to tell me what to watch for. They make you think you’re happy? Okay, do you remember how? You broke the spell and survived… clearly not in a good way but you did. You’re the only one I have Nancy to talk to. But we can take our time, okay? I’ll tell Chiron so if I have to and it can just be you and me talking while we fire arrows, whatever. Your friends too if you need them but this is unfortunately something you are going to have to talk about. Unless you really do want me to just figure it out as I go. Most of the time we have even less than this to go on for quests.” Zeke was being pushy, sure but there was a bit of a time crunch with these things. He was being as attentive as he could at the moment but unfortunately, like most things, the gods didn’t care about trauma or the person they were sending into peril. When they sent you a prophecy to do something, it meant they wanted it done. Now.

Once Pietro was contained, Antoniette felt a little more secure but she still wasn’t completely comfortable with the situation. She got to her feet after Guin came over but felt bad that Guin was having some sort of panic attack over everything that was happening. Antoinette herself was feeling mentally unstable still, although it was manageable but that certainly wasn’t helping the situation. If this was her parallel self trying to take over, what had happened to cause this world’s Antoinette to want to hurt people?
Antoinette puzzled over this and Dr. Strange’s answer to Runa’s suggestion when the wall exploded. She flinched from the sound and turned to face the intruders. Four people walked into the room and Antoinette’s eyes widened as they seemed to know Pietro and then one of them turned invisible. Antoinette observed the other three she could see. Pietro gave them a quick run-down on what they could do, so now all she needed to do was pick one.
Lance’s father had hulked out again and was going for a disabled Pietro, thanks to the handcuffs but the others were having rubble thrown at them. A piece narrowly missed Antoinette and she turned her focus on the assailants. Those were the two strong ones and one had even stronger durability. They were going to be hard to take down but everyone had a weak point, Antoinette just had to deduce what theirs was.
Letting the outside noise fade into the background, Antoinette’s purple eye glowed as she tapped into something new, she had been working on. They had someone who could turn invisible, well Antoinette had been practicing with her illusions to do something similar. It was like playing with light and one moment Antoinette was there and the next, she had blended perfectly into her surroundings. And then she was moving, watching Nekra and Frenzy as they continued to attack. Using her intuition, Antoinette got the tingling sensation through her body that a head attack, aiming for the eyes, would be her best option. At least if they were in a blind rage, their attacks would be chaotic. Nekra could go either way with her ability to use emotional outbursts but that was a chance Antoinette would have to risk as she set up two pyro attacks for Frenzy and Nekra’s eyes.
The fire shot from Antoinette’s fingers, temporarily revealing her position but she didn’t stop moving. The coloured fire flew at their intended targets, temporarily blinding Nekra and successfully burning parts of Frenzy’s face. Antoinette didn’t give herself time to be grateful for the small victory. She needed to keep moving to lessen her chance of being attacked.
