The primal urge to obsessively access your uni portal to see if your classes have been released, so you can read the syllabi thirty-seven times before class next week.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Streets ---> Abandoned Building
Skills:

Once Nancy was ready, Ezekiel led the way across the street. He scanned the road, sidewalks, and the building for signs of people and activity. The street was still pretty active with people. The building itself looked blissfully unoccupied, and the security cameras looked to be down or broken, with loose wires hanging out of some of them. He stepped back from the front door and looked around to see there was an alleyway.
”Let’s try the side of the building — fewer eyes,” he said before moving forward. Ezekiel scanned the length of the building before deciding on a window to break. He could boost himself up and help Nancy if she needed it — first things first: the window. Ezekiel pulled around his pack and grabbed the wet shirt he cleaned at Burger King. He wrapped it around his fist and forearm before putting his backpack on once more. Glancing around quickly, Ezekiel smashed his fist through the glass, shielding his face from the spray of glass. Afterwards, he ran the shirt along the window frame to knock any glass loose to prevent him or Nancy from getting cut. He laid his shirt out on the bottom of the windowsill before he boosted himself up and over. He hit the ground inside the building with an echoing thud; pausing a moment, Zeke looked around before moving aside.
”Let me know if you need a hand,” he offered Nancy. Ezekiel waited for Nancy, helping her or not, before he moved away from the window. ”See if you can find anything to cover that,” he suggested to Nancy, nodding to the broken window before he grabbed his shirt. ”I’m going to check the place out. Make sure we are the only ones in here.” His bow appeared, and he notched an arrow before securing the perimeter.
It didn’t take Zeke long. The place had a very open concept. ”All clear,” he announced, rejoining Nancy. ”Everything is pretty much toast in here, but there is lots of room for sparring if you feel up to it.” It would be a good way to pass some time and keep them fighting ready. Plus, if Nancy had any built-up emotion she needed to get out, what better way than to trash a run-down gym?

Annika Falling Star

Location: Tower ---> Graveyard, Limbo
Skills:
Spells:

Annika faltered as she walked down the stairs with the others. Her vision started to become distorted as she continued to move. Her hand gripped the railing tightly as she paused at the bottom of the stairs. They had gotten to the bottom awfully quickly, and it seemed Annika’s body was responding poorly to that awareness. She tried to smile in acknowledgement of Ananya allowing her to take possession of one of her knives.

A strange emptiness filled Annika’s ears, and her head grew heavy as her vision worsened. She looked at Jack, watching him open a portal and suggest they take a shortcut to the library Ananya ran towards. Annika nodded and followed Jack through. She didn’t trust her ability to run in any form. Despite her impairment, Annika was very aware that she wasn’t where she was supposed to be. Instead of Jack on the other side of the portal, there were three new strangers dressed in the same cape as hers. How many people were in Limbo?

”Sekon,” she greeted before putting a hand to her head. Annika had never experienced vertigo before and worried the dizziness would never stop.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Inside Tower
Skills:

Cassiopeia took the bottle from Rapunzel and took some of the liquid gratefully. Unfortunately, it didn’t help. Cassiopeia squeezed Rose’s hand tightly and gritted her teeth. She squeezed her eyes shut and twitched. A few sounds of pain escaped through her teeth. She was grateful for being pinned down. Once Megan was done, Cassi released Rose’s hand to wipe the tears from her face. She sat up and looked down at the stitch job. At least it was stitched.
”As long as it will heal,” Cassiopeia said. ”Thanks, Megan. Should we cover it with a bandage?” She looked over at Rose. ”Did I break your hand? That was a lot more painful than I was expecting.” Modern medicine was a blessing.

Willow Jones

Location: Tower — Outside
Skills:

Once outside, Willow took a minute to breathe in the air and shut her eyes. She played with her necklace, tracing the outline of the key. Sierra’s voice drifted over to her, and Willow opened her eyes to see she was speaking with Colby and Matthew. Smiling, she joined the group.
Willow sat on the ground. She curled her legs up beside her and rearranged her skirts to cover her legs and keep the material from bunching. She continued to fiddle with her dress, needing something to do to keep from staring at Colby and Matthew or Sierra.

Ezekiel shouldered his pack and stood up. ”Well, I don’t particularly like the sound of a diner either. One, we’d have to keep buying something in order to stay in there, but we also look like a pair of runaways. They could call the cops on us. Two, breaking into a school could be just as risky. The schools in the nicer part of town could be alarmed. If we were in a sketchy part of town, I’d say let’s go for it.”
Zeke started to look around himself, not seeing anything immediate, but there was a building that looked run down. The lock in the front told Zeke that security was minimal. Then again, it could be a decoy, but Zeke didn’t want to go back to Burger King, and even though she suggested it, Zeke didn’t want to subject Nancy to a nasty ass motel.
”That building looks good. We can peek inside and see if there are any video cameras. If there aren't, we could break the lock and hide out in there.” Zeke pointed across the street and to the gym.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: SPACE! Again…
Skills:

Antoinette fell into a bit of a meditative silence as she thought about what illusion she could cast and where she should cast it in the hallway. Of course, her plan was the backup plan. She felt pretty good about it, and Neil’s belief only fueled that fire. She smiled at him and shut her eyes, ready to project an illusion of Magneto if things went south. Luckily, Bethany pulled through, and they shadowed travel a decent amount. When she opened her eyes, she couldn’t see or hear the other group. Antoinette walked over and squeezed Bethany’s shoulders. ”Amazing, Bethany,” she complimented before looking around.
There didn’t seem to be any immediate threat in the area, but there were a lot of doors. Antoinette glanced at the map and noticed they were still far away. At least they were headed in the right direction. ”I suppose we should keep going while we can.”

Annika followed behind when the little girl offered them sanctuary. She perked up when she mentioned knives, not thinking much about the eating them part.
”Ananym, would you consider loaning me one of your knives? For use in battle rather than as a snack? Although, if I get hungry, I suppose that would be a good alternative,” she added. Now that she thought of it, Annika wondered what sort of resources Limbo had. Perhaps this library would shed some light on the inner workings of this red land.
As they began to descend the steps, Annika peered over the side. She kept a hand on the railing to keep from being disoriented. It seemed never-ending. Even as they walked further into the building, it didn’t look like they were gaining any ground.
Ezekiel Kel

Ezekiel helped Nancy sit up before he let her go and moved back. He stayed within her line of sight but wanted to give her some space. He listened to her brief words before rummaging through his bag and handed her a bottle of water. Ezekiel looked at his half-sister sympathetically before looking away and frowning.
Truthfully, that vision was no help at all. There was always the potential of them being caught or thrown into a pit of death. Those were the perks of being a child of a god. Ezekiel looked around them. They seemed safe for the time being, but Zeke didn’t want to be on the street.
”Okay, there’s not much we can do about that information now anyways. I don’t want to rush you, Nanc, but we should get off the street. We need to find someplace to lay low until morning when we can call dad.”

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Outside
Skills:

No one was giving Cassiopeia a shot of alcohol. She knew that much would at least numb her a bit. She sucked the breath between her teeth when the alcohol hit her wound, and she did squeeze Rose’s offered hand. ”Oh, just do it. I am no stranger to pain,” she told Megan.
She glanced at her wound and the needle before deciding to look away. Cassi wasn’t squeamish, but she had a feeling she would tense up if she saw it coming, and she didn’t need to make the process worse. Her eyes stared at nothing in particular, but many thoughts flowed in and out of Cassiopeia’s head.
”If we were back home, where would you want our first date to be?” Cassi asked Rose.

Willow Jones

Location: Tower — Inside
Skills:

Willow stepped out of the way while the table was cleared and Cassiopeia was brought in. She watched all the commotion in a sort of stupor. She had never seen so much activity before in a small space. She was startled when she heard Sierra’s voice and blushed.
”Oh, I’m fine,” she declared and smoothed a hand over her hair and clothes. ”Maybe we should step outside so we aren’t in the way.” Willow followed the others out and took in a nice lungful of fresh air. At least everyone was back together again.

The fight with the demons was the quickest fight Annika had ever been a part of. She tensed her body when the demon ran for her, ready to defend herself and counter its attack when the demon missed her entirely. She relaxed her stance as she watched him fly over the tower. Curious, Annika walked to the edge and watched the demon plummet to its death.
”Huh.” She shrugged and moved away from the edge, back to Madelyn’s side. Once Jack rejoined them, the rest of the demons seemed to run off, aside from the little girl named Ananym. Annika was intrigued by her. Her father was the ruler here, but as Madelyn asked, Annika was unsure if they should trust him. What she was sure of was they needed cover, much like Jack suggested. Exposure to the elements was never a wise decision when in unfamiliar territory.

Antoinette McCarthy

Other than the footsteps headed in their direction, things seemed to be going their way. Antoinette watched the people stop outside the room, and she held her breath for a moment until she realized they were cloaked. She relaxed slightly, not moving so it would be easier for Bethany to keep them all cloaked.
It was good to hear Mary’s voice, even in her head. The group from Earth had made it. They were halfway to getting out of there.
”I could try and project an illusion of myself in the hallway in hopes the group will follow that, and we can head out in the opposite direction,” Antoinette suggested. She didn’t want to go ahead and do it, encase one of the others had an alternative idea. Bethany’s idea was good, but she had already used her power to cloak them. Travelling them all could run her thin.
