Another gift idea if you wanted it to focus on art instead of voice: She can make anything she draws come to life. Draw a bunny? Little hoppy friend. Draw a pitcher? You can pull that bad boy right out and use it. If she's nefarious, draw money and go commit some fraud. Maybe with the drawback that it can't be used for food (everything tastes like ink/paint/etc), and that the creations will dissolve in water.

That's how the Zombie Apocalypse started. 💀

@Laser Kiwi Hmm, questions. Never been good at thinking them up but I do have one.

So, as I was looking at this the character that popped into my head was a girl who is almost entirely mute. Maybe on an extremely good day she could say a word or two to family or very close friend. Tends to use an app on her phone or writing to communicate (does know ASL) with others. First question is if a character that has troubles communicating with others is fine?
As for her knack it’d be art related. Since she can’t talk she kind of secluded herself for her formative years and took to drawing, painting, and etc. So, I was thinking her knack would be something along those lines maybe a little similar to how your character is with cooking. As for gift though I am completely stumped. I kind of want something that can tie in to who she is or maybe her art? But I only just saw this today so I may come up with something in my sleep. Dunno. But wanted to make sure that a mute character was fine before continuing down that road first.

You should check out my character, he is not a talker much, so imo i don't think it will be a problem, but I've been wrong before lol.
As for gift? Hmmmm, some type of ear shattering scream like a Banshee ?
El Tigre bounces off the ropes and performs his signature move, hurricarana ddt.

El Tigre hits the hurricarana ddt, but at last moment, he slips from his grip, and plummets to the outside.

Hardcore Zack grabs a chair and whacks him across the head.

5 is rolled, and El Tigre has been busted open by the chair.

RTD is simple, each player plays as a character and each turn performs an action (can be any action the player wants). The DM will roll a 1d6 to determine how successful.

[1] - Epic Fail. The action was not performed, and backfired horribly.

[2] - Fail. Nothing happened.

[3] - Partial Success. The exact degree of success is established by the GM.

[4] - Success. The action was carried out adequately.

[5] - Epic Success. The action succeeded in the most positive way possible.

[6] - Overshot. Though the result was achieved, the action backfires horribly due to disproportionately large effort.

Friend of mine bought Fantasy Age and Modern Age for me, but never got to use them since Covid ruined that.

Anyone here ever play?
