Kaneda stands at 5'11" and weighs 185 lbs., lean and strong build, wavy jet black hair and a full beard, he has slightly slanted dark brown eyes, lightly tanned skin and fuller lips than a full blooded Japanese person has. His face is slightly less sharp of facial features and a broader body than Asians but slighter than his Caucasion counterparts.

Skill Sets:Molecular Density Manipulation - His body is able to change its density from being small and light enough to go past matter such as walls to thick and dense enough to pick up and destroy any other matter and resist all kinds of weapons. He can also heal his body although it does take some time in order to do so and mentally drains him. The power does not react instinctively, he has to think about what he wants his body to do in order to make his body change. If caught off guard he can be wounded and killed.
Basic military training - was given basic training to handle basic military weapons such as pistols, semi automatic rifles, fully automatic rifles, grenades, etc. as well as basic hand to hand combat training.
Japanese Martial Arts Training - As a child he would train vigorously with his grandfather who was a black belt teacher in karate as well as sword training called Iaijutsu that trained to be quick to strike when you unsheathe your sword and used as a counter attack method.
Ancestral Recall - He is able to speak to his ancestors through meditation, to learn and ask them questions and seek guidance from them. Only through deep concentration and time is he able to speak to them and he has to be completely focused on the person he wishes to summon.
History:Kaneda was born in Canada from a mother of Japanese decent and a father of Germanic decent, as a first born boy in a family that had a previous generation of all girls he took the name Sasaki, he was taught traditionally in Japanese culture, he was a believer of Shintoism (the practice of speaking to his ancestors) at first when he sought guidance from his ancestors he would get signs from them, but somehow through deep concentration and meditation he could actually speak to his ancestors and they would respond, only in whisper and sometimes they would speak cryptically to him. His grandfather told him that those who are devoted to their practice and honorable to them and their family that they could achieve such response from the spirits.
He grew up learning martial arts, both hand to hand combat and using the traditional Katana, he worked his way up to a black belt level at the age of 19. When word had spread that the war was growing in the east he chose to join the Canadian military. He turned out to be a good soldier, skilled in discipline, a hard work ethic and a loyal follower of commands from his superiors. He just took his teachings from back home and used the same skills and mindset that he did then.
It was only a matter of time before he was approached by his commanders and asked if he wished to further serve his country by participating in new experiments that were created to enhance the human body. He accepted it as a great honor for him and his family, the experiment involved using a serum on him that would trigger an effect, he was told that the Germans were doing the same thing and was having some success with their soldiers. Potentially well enough to quickly win the war and the North America could not afford for that to happen, so they had to begin fighting fire with fire.
At first nothing much happened and he thought that he was a failed experiment. But then something changed in him, he was thinking that he disgraced his family and the weight that it carried on him to tell them the bad news, at that moment his allegorical weight felt like it was actually weighing him down it got to the point where he was putting dents in the floor with each step, it got to the point where they were worried he would breach the facility and fall deep into the earth. So in a panic he began to think the opposite of what he was before and thought of being light. All of a sudden he felt lighter, light enough to the point where he began to float all the way THROUGH the roof with the clothes he had on. He was finding himself floating past land and into the sky, before he got too high though he thought himself as normal and his body became normal again and he landed. The military called it a success and further testing would be needed, Kaneda had never been so happy.
Tests would prove that his body could change the density of itself with a thought, if he wanted to he could be strong enough to lift and immeasurable amount of weight. To be able to take shots from guns, grenades, rocket launchers right to his face and body without showing a scratch and all he would feel was as if something was poking him at most. He also could change his molecular structure to be so expanded and light that he could levitate, learning how to somewhat fly required him to levitate to a high enough distance and change his density to fall back to earth but light enough not to just fall straight down. He could also move through solid objects, and prevent those same weapons from hitting him if need be. Tests also concluded that anything attached close to his body would be affected by this. But not other humans, they tried and tried but it would never work.
One thing that did prove he wasn't invincible was that if he was caught off guard he could be hit and hurt. Also he could not breathe or phase through liquids and could possibly drown. He could handle extreme heat, but couldn't breath the smoke well and found that he could still die of smoke inhalation. Before the war would hit the Western Hemisphere he was put on a couple of secret missions. One tactic other than infiltration that he could use was act like a Kamikaze pilot, they would drop him off a plane or he would levitate himself high enough then fall changing his density to change his mass to be heavier and stronger and crash into the assigned building and demolish it with the force that could not be compare to. He earned the nickname The Kamikaze Operative.
Everything was going well for Kaneda until Pearl Harbour occurred and North America declared war on Japan and Germany. He was home for a visit at the time, when trucks came to his families home. Because of his families background they were considered enemies and possible spies and could not be trusted to live freely any longer. His family were given only a few minutes to pack up what they could and told they would be taken to an internment camp. Kaneda could not believe what was happening and soon was getting ready to fight. But his parents told him to stop, they trusted the government into doing what was right. That it would not be long until they were free again, so he stopped and was ready to go with them before he was halted and given another blow. He was not going with them, he was going to the United States of America, for what they did not know and weren't going to be telling him anyways but promised him that if he came peacefully with them, his parents would be taken care of and watched over, given the circumstances of what Kaneda went through for the country. And so he left with a vow to end the war and get his family back home.
Psychological Profile:Kaneda is usually calm and collected, strong willed, smart, tactile and a focused individual. He is loyal and respectful to those that give him the same, he is also spiritual and humorous, how could he not be, if he wasn't he would just be depressed all the time and that helps no one.
He fears that he won't be accepted by the people around him because he is of both nationalities that are on the bad side of the war and would be rejected, thinking of him being a spy, even though he was born on Canadian soil and raised to be Canadian and will protect it with all his strength.
He hates what the war has become and what it has done to the people like his parents and is willing to do anything that will get them home. To prove that not all Japanese and Germans born in North America are enemies and will fight tooth and nail to prove it.
Possessions:Carries a ring that has his families crest imprinted on it, he has since wrapped it around a chain and wears it like a necklace. Other belongings are just whatever clothes he could gather at the time and a photo of his family that he keeps close to him to remind him of what he is fighting for.
