Vivian watched everyone scramble to get to the front, eyes narrowed in thought for a moment. Eventually, she turned on her heel to take the back of the line. She wanted to learn as much about her new neighbors as possible, and she couldn't do that if she was greeted with "appropriate accommodations" right off the bat. I wonder what they have in store for people like me, she mused to herself, looking curiously down the line at her fellow meta-humans. She knew some--if not a good majority--were here involuntarily. It was typical for power to to your head, after all.

Ariana turned to glance at him with a frown before quickly before turning back to packing. "Fine, your loss," she mumbled soberly. She always had a problem on not picking up on how annoying she was being and his dismissal added to her self consciousness. "I was just letting you know you have alone time to look forward to," she explained defensively.

Squaring up she winked at the girl and then she was in fairy form, they were also in a new place; it was full of darkness and they were the only two outlined figures, everything else had vanished,

Ariana gasped and stepped back, looking around and squinting against the darkness. She looked down at her outlined hands and body and looked back to the fairy. "What'd you do? Where the fuck are we?" she demanded.

A familiar face caught her attention during Vivian's scan. She first blinked in surprised and tilted her head a bit. For a moment, it almost seemed like she was angry. But then she just licked her lips and offered the boy a cold grin that didn't quite reach her narrowed eyes. Well, well, well, she thought. This place might be more fun than I bargained for. She wiggled her fingers as a wave to him and winked before turning her attention back on the old "specialist."
