I'm interested, though it'd be my first shot at casual. I can typically go two paragraphs in free, and--with more to reply to--I should be able to add to that.

Finished with cleaning up the kitchen, Isabella returned to the living room to find Klaus still on the floor. She crossed her arms and watching him for a moment--whatever he was dreaming about had him happy. She looked around, unsure of what to do with herself now, so she sat on the couch and sighed, waiting for the vampire to awaken.

I don't want to create a reason without Drummer here. When you RP in groups, you need to be considerate of other players. Whether you like it or not, he's part of the RP, too, and I don't feel right just leaving him behind out of impatience.

Role playing may not go as quickly, but the quality is far greater when you're patient.

Isabella put away the wine after taking a swig from the bottle for herself, and turned to the kitchen sink to clean the glass. She licked her lips and glanced back at the vampire as he slept on the floor. What to do, what to do? she thought, turning her attention back to the washing. That at least explains why he's never bit me. Maybe I won't have to leave...There isn't much on the streets to go back to, but if he's serious, then I'd be safe here. She shook the glass free of excess water before drying it with a towel and placing it back in the cupboard.

Works for me. :D Drummer won't be on for another 6 / 7 hours, though--and even then he doesn't always post--so Idk how long the wait will be if everyone agrees. I feel bad that he's on such a different schedule than the rest of us, haha.

Character Death Rules

Death is always on the table for my characters, and--so far--it's only happened once. However, another player used their character to bring mine back from the dead? I wasn't totally okay with it, and I even had other characters in the RP, but I went along with it. Looking back, I wish I hadn't--it kinda ruined the immersion for me.

So personally, I try to avoid players and RPs that restrict death. Even "ask to make sure it's okay to kill someone's character" is a little too much for me. If your character is in a position in which he should die, he should die. Plain and simple. And it's not fair to the other players who might have to play OOC to avoid killing your character when you don't want him to die. I'm not saying a bloodthirsty character should necessarily be allowed in every game or anything, but if you poke a bear with a stick...

Guys, maybe we should pause for a bit to let books and the others catch up? We're not on the same timeline, and there's a bunch of posts they're gonna have to read through when they go online. Then there's this new branch where Jim and the Doc go on an adventure, which will definitely go on a different timeline, too. Of course if you want to continue, that's fine. It's just a suggestion.

I think Drummer and I would both appreciate that. But once we do catch up, that'll mean slowing down the RP altogether to allow us to post since we're on later than the rest of you.

Edit: As it is right now, Cyrus and Lillah are outside the building debating going in, and then Doc just kinda went in after this was established. So we're way, way behind (by about 5 pages now that I look)...
