Take your time. Like OP stated, he'll be gone all weekend so we have plenty of time to work on characters. ^^

I'll be working on an archer who uses arrows with Dust-filled heads. We should establish this sort of stuff early so creating/bringing together teams is easier. I'd also recommend not getting too attached to your initial choice in name because we might have to adjust to get team names to work.

Hi, I'm Kidd in case you still can't tell with my name plastered all over the place. Welcome to my 1x1 thread. To learn more about me, check out my bio--it's short, sweet, and to the point; but I'm generally an open person if you want to know more. For example, I've been role playing for about ten years+ now, and I've been on RPG since just after the ominous guildfall. I like the colors blue and pink, my favorite food is pizza, and I like long walks on the beach (I don't like long walks anywhere). Anyway, role playing:

I consider myself a casual role player, usually high casual (three paragraphs are my average goal). I am willing and able to do advanced assuming I'm invested enough into the plot, characters, and follow role player. I also enjoy super casual script-styled RP (assuming it's done over an IMing medium). I can usually post every other day or so, but you will know my schedule better if we RP together. As far as characters go, I can play any gender but I tend to prefer female; I'm also willing to play more than one character to further the story as necessary. I prefer original worlds and stories, however I am open to fandom RP assuming the world allows for creative freedom to develop our own plots and characters. I will not play a canon character, but I am totally okay with it if you choose to. That said, here's a quick list of my preferred settings followed by a second list of fandoms I'd enjoy (pinks are my current favorite):

- Fantasy: urban fantasy is my favorite, usually mixed with some sci-fi elements, but I can enjoy historical fantasy as well.
- Vampires! I love vampires and vampire slayers and other supernatural themes (werewolves/witches/etc).
- Post-apocalyptic / survival.
- Slice of life maybe. I like chill RPs, but the characters need real substance.
- Romance is last on the list because while I enjoy it, I usually don't want it to be the sole genre.
Any genders and sexual orientation is okay with me.

- Avatar: The Last Airbender / Legend of Korra
- A Song of Ice and Fire
- Beyond the Boundary
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians / HoO
- Yona of the Dawn
- The Vampire Diaries

As for plots, I tend to have ideas on and off. So feel free to PM me and ask what I have in mind! Or simply hit me up with one of your own. If we want to RP and we don't have a solid plot in mind, that's fine, too. I'm okay with winging it and seeing where we go.

Please don't post in this thread. And please don't go into this thinking I'm very chatty OOC. Sometimes I feel like trying, but please don't be offended if I'm a little closed off. Other than that, I don't have a lot of rules or limitations to be honest: I am a 22-year-old so I'm okay with and usually enjoy mature themes and writing. Things like character death and injury are 100% okay with me so long as it makes sense for the characters and story. My only limit would be that I'm not super comfortable with explicit sexual writing with another person, but I'm interested in breaking out of the comfort zone if you're willing to deal with that. Obviously, I will not RP this sort of thing with minors. That said, I'm not totally opposed to RPing altogether with minors--I would just like to know your age before we RP together.

I'm in, needless to say. Though, are we going to stick to canon 100%? 'Cause thinking up color-themed names and team names could make a hard task even harder.

I'd also be interested in maybe expanding the setting past Beacon. With the videos on lore (dust / the kingdoms) out, we do have more to go on than just the combat schools. I could be the only one, though, so I'm happy with whatever.

That's intense! I keep notebooks for doodling / writing about my characters as well, but I don't think I have enough material on any SINGLE character to have a notebook full, haha. Got anything interesting to share about her that you might not reveal in RPs?

I have a million and one headcanons and AUs and daydreams about my characters. So I'm wondering what you all wonder and think about in regards to your characters--particularly the stuff that doesn't make directly into role plays. Maybe you write about or draw them in situations you can't seem to get them in in role plays?
