He will definitely be missed. RIP Monty.
Nice speech.
I was in no way suggesting a 'get out of jail for free' just merely a substitution of weaknesses for vampires from cultures that did not have Christianity. For example: Mo could be especially weak to wood and running water, as her religion revolved around nature/shamanistic beliefs. Just a suggestion. But as Shik stated, if these items don't really effect elder vamps as much, it shouldn't be a huge deal for my character anyway.
Stakes come from far before Christianity, the idea being that certain beings could only be slain with the branches of particular trees. The tree in question varied often, and occasionally there were other requirements such as the application of goat's blood, or dead man's blood. So the stake thing should still affect you. And the holy water thing is a rather significant deal, due to the nature of my character.
I think Silent was talking about stuff like crucifixes and holy water. Not stakes (since stakes are typically wood and she mentioned that as a weakness). And I personally don't like religion taking part in supernatural weaknesses, but if that's what we all wanna do, I'm fine with it.
Compared to the Lady Mohowauuck, the slim figure at her side was meek and unassuming. Hunter's dark eyes flickered around curiously as she followed her sire. She had asked once already where they were going, though the answer had been vague--perhaps Mo was uncertain herself. Not that anything about the woman said "uncertain." Besides, since then, other worries had crept into the young vampire's head and she was already concerned with getting to work on time tomorrow. Unlike the vampires that would be at this meeting, Hunter still saw herself very immersed in mortal life. She wasn't prepared for the very rude awakening about to come.
I'm super new, but in addition to Silent's comment, I think we should outline some basic strength/weaknesses that these vampires have so we're not all over the place with what can and can't hurt your characters. And I'm working on an intro post now~
Name: Hunter Dakota Lee Gender: Genderfluid, typically she/her Age: 22, very recently turned Appearance: Hunter stands at 5’8” (173.7 cm) and has a lean, slender build. She has dark skin, a narrow face dotted with freckles, and almond shaped brown eyes turn a golden yellow when she feels particularly passionate (be in anger, surprise, fear, happiness, etc.). Her hair is dark and stops just before her shoulder, styled differently depending on the day, though the bangs almost always hang just above her eyelashes. The make-up she typically brings out her eyes: mascara and eyeliner after the basic cover up. When she’s felling more like a he, he skips out on the makeup and pulls his hair back into a ponytail or bun. His breasts are bound and his sense of fashion changes from cute, large sweaters and leggings to layers over jeans that range from anywhere to super tight or a gentle embrace. On the inside of his left forearm is a tattoo. Weapons: Still has a habit of carrying pepperspray even as a terrifying creature of the night Powers: As a human, she carried a werewolf gene. Being turned into a vampire partly triggered the gene, giving her some 'wolf-like traits: a physical strength advantage compared to other vampires her age (emphasis on her age as vampires grow stronger with age), the ability to grow her nails into claws and her teeth into fangs. She also draws strength from the full moon; when it's up, she's stronger and faster and will heal more quickly under its light. (Don't mistake her for hybrid--she is a vampire at the core and has typical vampire strengths and weaknesses. I'd like her to have a 'wolf weakness or two but Idk what the 'wolf specific weaknesses are in this RP.) Personality: Hunter is typically a cheerful, if quiet, person. Stress can easily get to her, however, and she’s prone to mood swings when it does. Although she doesn’t come off as an individual with a lot of presence, she enjoys the flirting game even though she gets scared off by even the thought of commitment. She likes to help people when she can, typically through the little things such as holding open doors or picking up litter or offering to give directions. As a vampire, she has poor self-control in the presence of blood and barely a basic grasp on her abilities. Needless to say, it’s not uncommon for her to be stuttering out excuses as to why it looked like her eyes changed colors or why she practically ran away screaming from someone else’s paper cut. However, her change has sparked some confidence in herself: she’s more likely to stand up for herself (and others) as a vampire than she was as a human. It still isn’t particularly likely, but it’s growing more frequent. Background: Hunter was the second of four born in the southern United States to a mixed family. Life in a small town was about what you’d expect for the family: usually dull but having to deal with racism and gossip from the locals. The Lee family persevered well enough despite all this and Hunter was raised in a loving environment for the first half of her life. Just as she started high school, however, a citizen was violently murdered. And, suspiciously enough, Hunter’s mother fled town within the same week without any word to family or friends. Needless to say, suspicion fell on the Lee family and they became even more ostracized. Hunter fell into depression and struggled with self identity throughout the rest of high school. Her grades overall were average and she didn’t participate in any sports. By the end, she had come out as gay and gender fluid to her family. Although it went well overall, she felt her father—who had been growing distant since her mother’s disappearance—grow even more cold to her. Although typically stressed, she was often comforted and encouraged by her older sister. With this encouragement, she attended a local community college and applied to a nearby university for her sophomore year. She’s been at the university since where she has learned to be open about her identity and slowly growing confident with herself. Recently, she was turned by Lady Mohowauuck
I won't be watching, but I'll be on Youtube to watch the commercials as they're uploaded.

I believe he's still in the hospital. Hoping he gets well soon.
Instead of meeting his answer with a scoff, sympathy--no, empathy--flickered across her gaze and Mira spared the other a small smile. "I see. If you ever do grow comfortable enough to share the information with me, I can tell Klaus who to exclude from his hunt. He's not in town often, but when he is he's...not quite like the rest of us." She left it at that before returning to business, her gaze growing cool and the smile fading into a formal, serious frown. "Anyway," she started, not giving Mithias a chance to respond to her offer; she rather give him the time he needed to mull it over, "yes, I sent the letter. The rogue issue is growing in this city, and I rather see them taken cared of before joining the Blackmoores or causing us trouble. You'll be free to help yourself to our resources as needed while on the job, of course. And I'm willing to pay after, in whatever you wish: be it money or blood or the like."
Alrighty. Hopefully we get some more interest. I feel this really has the potential to be an awesome RP~
