Haha, exactly xD And today on Cold-Blooded: Mira is a racist piece of shit
Mira's eyes flickered to the door as Otto came in with a stranger. A hundred years ago, she would've asked a Black man to leave, even as a vampire. However, as New York grew more diverse, she became reluctantly tolerant of colored people. Still, there was a stiffness to her as she stood up to greet the man. Old prejudices were hard to break. "Hello, Lee," she said, taking his dark hand in her pale one. She pulled away a bit too quickly and looked between the newcomer and Otto. "What brings you here?" She found herself growing more cautious with each guest. There were so many strangers about recently and, in addition to the tension between the Blackmoores and rogues, she wasn't terribly thrilled about it.
As for the french whore comment we both know there are worse thing to be then French...
Praetor has no chill
It quickly became apparent that the fifth years were not to part take in the icebreaker, and Zar relaxed a little bit. Contrary to what one might expect, she enjoyed meeting others, but didn't enjoy group activities quite as much. She sat still and quiet as the commotion continued, and she watched as her underclassman compared numbers and whispered curiously about what was to come. It seemed that they would be here for a while, so she allowed her bags to drop to the floor at her feet. As she was straightening Khayal out on her lap, she felt a weight at the back of her chair. Then came a verbal greeting and she looked up to see Raule's crimson gaze, to which she offered a small smile. "Hello," she greeted warmly, her eyes pulling away to look about the hall again. "The Headmaster arranged some sort of 'ice breaker' for the underclassman, and I'm just dying to see where it leads." Her tone grew cooler by the word. "And you?" she returned politely, looking to the voidling again. @Zombehs
Not a terribly necessary post on my part, but I felt like it was right
Mirabelle stood in the guest room Klaus chose for himself, her arms crossed as he sat on the large bed, his sketch book tossed aside to make room for her anger. The anger had subsided a bit, but their discussion wasn't going far. "Why do you want this so bad?" she asked. She had already berated him for speaking out of turn to her guest and making a decision for her family. Now she struggled to understand what an alliance with the Blackmoores would mean not only for the Kingstons, but Klaus expected to get out of it. "You'll be safer. Might even learn something from the bunch," Klaus suggested, though his thoughts went back to his first meeting with the Blackmoores in which they struggled to deal with the vampire blood they consumed. "Forget the mortals, Mira. You need to put your family first here. The rogues are dangerous. The Blackmoores are dangerous. But if you're allies, the rogues are less dangerous, yeah?" She rolled her blue eyes, her pale hand dropping to her pocket again. "You know I can't just forget them. You can't either," she pointed out with a glance to her sire. "Just meet them. Discuss it," he repeated and stood up to direct Mira toward the door. He hoped that Morven would be with the Blackmoores when the meeting did finally come. Her diet made him think her morals aligned oddly well with Mira's, which could help seal the deal. "Worse comes to worse, you keep being foolish and miss out on a good alliance." He offered her a toothy, mocking grin. When her scowl didn't budge, he sighed. "Sorry for watching out for you?" he offered lamely. Mira sighed. "Just...Just stay out of Kingston business. Please. I don't want our morals compromised." "Well if you're dead, your lovely ideals won't matter, will they?" he pointed out, opening the door for her. The tone was teasing, but she could see the anxiety flicker across his gaze. So Mira left it at, "Right. Well see you tonight," and left the room. She heard the door close behind her before she returned back downstairs, where she would wait for Praetor to return.
That is a good point. I have been getting better at noticing when I'm doing it, so that's allowing me to stop myself. Still trying, though, and caught myself nibbling today during class. But if the progress continues to go as well as it is, I could be done nail biting by the weekend. So here's hoping
Oh god. Lee. I was thinking Lee but I put Leo xD And okie dokie, good to know
Leo, should I assume Mira knows Leo? Or is this gonna be a first time meeting?
