Jasmine - Aura Control to Lunch

As she did to Varius, Jasmine found herself stumbling back after trying to attack the other classmate. It was only then that she realized the follow up potential and she struggled not to collapse to the ground. Once she found her balance, she sighed and flexed her fingers. "Wow, it's really strong," she muttered, realization only sinking in when it was used against herself. When he suggested they continue practicing, she perked up again in excitement. "Hell yeah, let's do it!"

And they would, until the bell dismissed them for lunch. Practically dropping the lesson, Jasmine was one of the first in the class to escape the room head for the food hall. "Food," she sighed, gathering a tray to fill with food. Primarily meats, but some fruits and soda too, for the faunus.

"Ha!" Jasmine exclaimed, immediately dropping her guard and flexing her arms as Varius caught himself. "I did it!" She dropped her hands to her hips and posed with a cocky grin on her face. It went over her head in her excitement, but during his recover would be the perfect time to attack an enemy. She gloated a bit more, shifting from foot to foot out of energy, before shaking her hands free and sighing. "Okay. Your turn--it's easier than I thought it'd be," she admitted, taking on an offensive stance. "Ready when you are."

A voice, a hand, and Jasmine looked to the...oh-so friendly face. How can some people be so serious? Regardless, she gave the outstretched hand a high five--that had to be what he wanted, right?--and offered a crooked grin, showing off a fang. "Let's do it! I'm Jasmine, by the way," she said. Someone had to bring some energy to this practice run. Eager to practice the technique, she stepped back and waved him at her with both her hands. "Alright, come at me," she prompted, tilting her head side-to-side to hear the satisfying cracks. Her aura manifested again on her arms for just a moment, then faded as she tried to focus on the pinpoint counter.

As the faunus sat down, the demonstration began. And it was--in her opinion--pretty freaking cool. Her semblance already gave her impressive defensive control of aura, so her immediate thought was, "This can't be very difficult." So she stood up to find a partner. Her aura manifested around her hand and fingers, and she flexed her knuckles as she watched the glow. A quickly warm-up, however, and she dropped the shield, ready to attempt the pinpoint counter.

I meant to post last night, but stuff came up and the internet was acting wonky and that obviously just didn't happen. I'm working all day today, but it's a desk job so I'll try to get something up between tasks.
