Current I am Klomster, i have no status.

Bio

Known primarily as Klomster, both on the net and on real life.

I really enjoy roleplaying and do so every weak, preferably twice in two different campaigns. Sometimes even more.

From time to time i've done some forum roleplaying with mixed success. I've tried GM-ing with even more mixed success and all in all, i find forum rp's enjoyable. Hence why i joined, hoping to play some forum rp's and OWN at it. (Or something.)

I have an erratic thought pattern so my posts can appear as incoherent, if you notice you can just mention it if i should clarify anything.
Other than that, hey there fellas.

I have checked this out and found it interesting.

I have a character mockup.

Tell me what you think of him, i think this looks like a cool RP :D
I'm a bit interested where this could lead. I'll make a mockup.

If this one isn't fitting into the vision of the rp, just let me know.

Just my mockup. Thoughts?
It would prove i do have some sort of curse on me.

I join an Rp, IT DIES!!!

Happened and awful lot here on the site.....
Bah, we don't need a GM, with plot and npc's and as a rules judge!.... or something.
Just so you know, i believe that this collab will be worth the wait.
Both of us have added some really cool scenes and done some nice roleplaying.

Perhaps not towards each other, but then again one doesn't usually have a nice deep conversation in the middle of a battle....

This would be such a badass movie :D
(Yeah, i'm kinda hyping this battle, so sue me :P)
@TheDuncanMorgan Yes, while we're in the middle of the primary action part, leaving only the twist and the aftermath parts, i'd say there's a bit left.
I don't want to say Andrew is slow.... but Andrew is slow. :P

(Don't worry, i'm just messing with ya.)
Oh wait, now they work.... weird.
@Sundered EchoAre you sure the images were put up correctly.

I can't see em.
@TheDuncanMorganThanks for the heads up.

I do feel split on the topic of dice rolls. On one hand it's useful as a randomizer, to keep things interesting.

But then again, at times the dice can hinder or go against what makes sense.
However, i really liked the PM you sent with the battle and army statistics prior to beginning the collab with @AndrewCooper.

So i say you keep the stats as a guide-line. If something really ends up like it could go any way a dice roll might be suitable.
But overall i'm for going with a more story driven approach.
While i liked the message prior the collab with the result. I felt a bit confused as to how i would implement the stats i was seeing and how to produce an exciting result for the reader.

So me and Andrew have done some heavy interpretations on the results. Sure, the main result is still the same. But how the battle came to its conclusion is perhaps not what the dice roll says.

So use the dice rolls as a guide-line, but always go with a reasonable outcome over what a number says.
Check out the game Dominions 4 @TheDuncanMorgan.

It has a nation called Caelum. Winged humanoids with daevas as their ancestors.
They have a sacred infantry that willingly give up their ability to fight, to be able to fight in formations and get a reinvigoration effect since they don't need to pump blood into the wings anymore.

I mention Caelum because of aesthetics. You should check them out.
Also Nazca, same species but heavily inspired by Inca and death worship. They carry their honored dead on palanquins.
-----------

C-tis, herbivorous lizardmen that form kingdoms led by lizard kings. Mighty priest kings who excel in combat and wear dapper as f'k robes.
They have heavy infantry with scale mails whom fight with dual falchions or spear shield. Depending on the era they have chariots, massive sacred bipedal alligators known as sobeks and armies of mummies.

Sure they are not fitting for the things you mentioned, but it's great inspiration.
Here's an online program where one can see all the stats and descriptions of the units.

larzm42.github.io/dom4inspector

And if you like turn based nation sims, don't miss out on dominions.
While it can be a bit tricky to get into, the game has LOADS of lore and one can do loads of funky spells and combos.

Anyway, i can think about the things you wanted some inspiration on. I could throw some things together. Perhaps.
Hope it's not a long stop.

Would hate for another promising RP i join to die :/
And this one is more active than the others!

Well, i'm staying.
