Current I am Klomster, i have no status.

Bio

Known primarily as Klomster, both on the net and on real life.

I really enjoy roleplaying and do so every weak, preferably twice in two different campaigns. Sometimes even more.

From time to time i've done some forum roleplaying with mixed success. I've tried GM-ing with even more mixed success and all in all, i find forum rp's enjoyable. Hence why i joined, hoping to play some forum rp's and OWN at it. (Or something.)

I have an erratic thought pattern so my posts can appear as incoherent, if you notice you can just mention it if i should clarify anything.
Other than that, hey there fellas.

@ClocktowerEchos Yeah, when i think about how my species will handle shit.

Have fun having a Schäferkin fortress testing out how long one can run all the laser arrays constantly on bombardment mode before you have to stop.
The answer is a long time, a long long time.
@ClocktowerEchos Yeah, when the events were that recent, there is no reason the Schäferkin would have any good opinions about them.

Then comes the question if the Schäferkin helped defeat them, or if they just said to all the others who were fighting them.
"Have fun with the lizardmen, we're gonna keep to ourselves."

I'd guess my species would just be happy to not have to bother with reptiles any longer.
Seeing how the Quixikotl and the Tak'a'dis were both reptilian in their genetic ancestry, would probably put Schäferkin in the seat that reptile descendant lifeforms are all bad, and have a racial tendency of bad luck and probably harbour racist feelings towards them.

So my Schäferkin would probably dislike the Quixikotl, obviously the Tak'a'dis, also Vesians of all sorts are a sceptical concept.
The Covenant would be a whole pile of WTF for Schäferkin but otherwise not harbouring ill feelings towards them.

I'd need to know of the other species before forming any strong feelings for them.
Schäferkin meeting human domestic dogs would also be.... interesting.
@ClocktowerEchos Depending on how long ago the Deliverance war was, i'd like to not hate the Quixikotl.
Having the "Who is everyone talking about?" approach :P

I guess i should add in the navy of the Schäferkin.

Concerning the Concordat, i'd say seeing a Schäferkin within the command structure itself or even a member with implants doesn't happen. They are a bit superstitious about that.

But small groups of Schäferkin probably show up from time to time to trade or simply check the place out. Having the same air about them as Klingons in star trek is supposed to have.
"Snap, it's those guys. Don't mess with them, they can get violent."
Often in power armour, they however never end up worse than social trouble and fights. Thankfully, they don't want to make enemies. Most civilian people just don't understand them. Unknowingly insulting them forcing the packs to defend their honor and status.

Edit: I added the Schäferkin "navy".
I dunno, would it?
@TheDuncanMorgan I've done a WIP on the siege in PM, i just use it instead of a txt file so that you and Andrew can check it before i post.

However it's like... half four in the morning when i write this. So i'm gonna need some sleep.
I'll keep at it when i get back from roleplaying. I'll be away the usual amount of time though.

Sooooo, Sunday? Perhaps?
Unless you want it even more epic, then i can take some extra time on it.

For the moment it's just brutal, but that's siege warfare for ya.

Sheeeet, i have to write that siege post soon.

I have been pushing it in front of myself for far too long, sorry guys :(

I'll write some for it now.
I also need a shower.
Great! Then i'll post it here.

As of writing this, if someone wants to use the Tak'a'dis as a species, go ahead, but don't expect to make friends with the Schäferkin. :P
And your civilisation was destroyed, and conquered. So you'd have to live with that.

Also, feel free to have knowledge of the Alpha uprising, since the Tak'a'dis were the prominent species, and was violently overthrown and destroyed in a comparably very short time.
Having previous contact with the Tak'a'dis makes a lot of sense for other species, so go nuts with that if you want.

Considering how my species probably evolved, they seem to be a slave species of humanity, a human sub-faction or a completely different race.

Whom have lost control of their loyal attack dogs, literally. :P

I can start writing and fill in the blanks later.
As for more species than the Schäferkin, i'd say it doesn't make sense to have other major sentient lifeforms that have evolved alongside them.
I'd also claim that Schäferkin is a very young species. They have overtaken their planet from previous lifeforms. An ancient and wise civilisation so to speak :P
(Don't worry, they'll make sense.)

Pm or thread for putting up sheets for inspection?
I'm considering on joining in.

I'd play as a nation i've created for a future sci-fi setting featuring war, trade and stuff.
The species would be the Schäferkin, bipedal dogs with a violent history. And violent feelings inside themselves.
Their nature is the same as dogs though, so they are friendly unless angered. The violence comes from their history.

So bipedal dogs, potentially warlike.
What's the verdict?
