I would say Ramirez would have been surprised if komodo had suddenly hit retrorockets and came to a full stop, not shot by heavy artillery from someone he was in contact with and put to a halt from kinetic force. He was already establishing a target lock while chasing after in the first place instead of just firing off the gun into Komodos back.

But lets take the same situation and overlay the two. Komodo got hit and came to a full stop then flew away. If rose got hit and came to a full stop, then he could also fly away. Both would have the same speed from afterburners but rose has the data boost to plot an interception course and reach melee weapons to close the difference.

And thank you for the corrections about who is doing what.

Marvel/DC: The New Dawn of Superheroes

Alright so Avanhelsing just PMed me eariler today and told me he was dropping out since he was still struggling and didn't want to bog things down. So since we're now all set its time to drop some plan-age. For the first mission Kingpin had an insider with SHIELD who just helped steal a large cache of top secret weaponry for the mob boss. SHIELD had trackers put on them but Kingpin's men put scramblers on them making it difficult to pinpoint where they were taken. So right now they have around three warehouses that the weapons could be. Thus Fury is sending half of the team in three groups of two covertly to three warehouses they have reason to believe are where the weapons are being held. Right now I have the groups as

Group A: Zatara and Scarecrow

Group B: Mr Fantastic and Atom

Group C: Christian Frost and Spider-Girl

I have three possible outcomes for which group finds what, and they'll be randomly assigned in secret.

As for Morningstar, Captain Marvel, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and Mana. Fury is going to have them do some one on one sparring. Since they wouldn't exactly work for covert work, and Fury is going to want to see how they handle themselves in combat. Since the numbers are uneven Fury is going to have Ghost Rider sit it out since he would also be a dangerous person to put into a fight.

Who fights who will be revealed when the time comes. I'm working on the next post now though.

The guy with superhuman senses and x-ray vision would not be useful in covert work? Ah well, At least Mana is super endurance so Marvel can go all out against him.

Did ramirez really just dodge every explosive round shot shot on the quick draw? really?

Lets not forget the Ramirez should have been expecting to Komodo to be halted, spin around and attack when he was following...

EDIT: I hate to be 'that guy' I really do, but I dont think the rose should be 'easily' keeping up with the Komodo in afterburner mode, they are the same armor class, and Komodo has a slightly higher synchro so the Rose shouldn't be that much faster. After burner is essentially 'boosting at top speed' mode and isnt able to fight normally at that thrust just escape.

No, he didnt dodge them all, I'll go back through and edit. If komodo is using explosive rounds, it has a slower rate of fire and easier to dodge with the drone data, if it is using its gattling gun then its higher rate of fire is more standard rounds and his armor can take more punishment. He minimized the damage as he kept pushing through as his frame is made for taking the punishment. Where komodo is making lots of side to side motions, having to move then shift his momentum into another direction like a hornet/wasp where ramirez is just making slight variations to his approach and keeps on approaching in roughly the same direction the whole time.

I would say with the higher synchro rate, he has the ability to take a sniper round to minimal, and open fire on ramirez, and still dodge out of the way of another person using both a shotgun and melee punch of doom with all his focus on someone he already was spending so much time and mental energy on.

But I wouldn't say that his synchro rate would have anything to do with going faster than another frame made for closing the distance on an enemy. All frames have the capability of space flight, even archers frame can break atmosphere under its own power. so therefor everyone has afterburners unless komodo was built for superior speed.

Thank you for not trying to be 'that guy', but you got three people attacking you and a 4th providing a bonus to those attacks.
