Just a little bump; seeing if folks are still here. I feel this game's gone a little long and wouldn't be a verse to closing it if most of y'all aren't interested anymore.
@Blight Bug

"Draw!" Panik smiled as he drew his next card. "I'll start the turn by activating the card owner's seal." He put his drawn card in his hand before playing the other. The card materialized and the face-down cards that were special summoned to Fyodor's side were returned to the Player Killer of Darkness. "I'll flip summon my two Slate Warriors, thus activating their special ability. It allows them to gain 500 attack and defense! Next, I'll tribute my face down monster in order to tribute summon another monster. Your move."

@Scarifar

"Here." the duelist handed Carnel a blue card: Level Master. "Consider it a loan. Take it and get stronger. You're a strong duelist, but your tactics rely too heavily on keeping your opponent from playing the game. Consideration. It's something I learned when I was a young duelist. Anybody can win by being overly aggressive. It's much harder to win with compassion."

@Zepavil

"Archfiend Reverse, attack his life points directly!" With a clawed hand, the demon reached over Taiyou's empty field, striking at the duelist and dealing a whopping 3100.

"I'll put one card face down and end my turn."

An Hour and Maybe Twenty Minutes After Fritz's Death

Thames rolled his eyes. "I don't have time for your childish games." he scoffed, before putting his hands in his pockets and heading off. He paused for a moment, resisting the urge to turn back, before stepping off toward the island proper.

In spite of his time spent in the orphanage doing his research and tinkering, he had very little by way of actual resources, especially to reconstruct his caretakers. After several years, it was unknown as to whether or not they were even still there. As a child, he was forbidden from leaving the island. After all, it was dangerous to leave, though that was where his home was for more than half his life, not that his life was too long.

With his fellow orphans not liking him too much and with Mr. Fritz out of the way, there was nothing keeping him from leaving the island. Though, with all that was out there, it was far too dangerous. Thames could find himself killed. Though, it was also dangerous on the island. There was nothing keeping the other orphans from seeking out and killing him. He realized the world was unsafe.

Lucky for him, Thames had a unique power. Thames slept with his powers on, time slowed by a moment, allowing Thames to sleep for a bit longer and extend his life by a few moments. The distortion in time allowed him to slow down any night assailants- for the most part being mosquitos which he could trap in a time-bubble, giving him just enough time to smash them before returning to sleep.

Two Days Following That Past Day

With no one to look out for him and no actual survival skills, Thames was forced to steal in order to survive. He was not a particularly good thief. It was true he had special abilities, though it would be far more useful had others too not had abilities of their own.

In other words, Thames was starving to death. He managed to steal himself a tart out of someone's home. It was small, but it was also his breakfast, keeping him alive at least until he could somehow manage to snatch himself another meal. It was midday, and there was commotion.

Thames had snuck around, avoiding a group of people marching, according to Thames's calculations, toward the orphanage. He tried to remain undetected, of course ready to stab whoever was around with a mechanical push-dagger he managed to jurry-rig out of his stop watch along with various bits of discarded metal he found while digging for food. While he followed them, Thames counted exactly how many were there, planning to discover their actual intent.
Or you can do what I do.

That is, I ask in the chat if anybody has any ideas and make encourage players to talk to me as the GM so we can plan out a course of action according to the players'/characters' goals instead of saying "This thing happened then that thing happened." You were on the right track giving Blight Bug an idea of scenery. You could follow up on that, making more NPCs for players to interact with.
@GarlandDaHero

Do whatever works for you. I don't really need a PM though.
About 1 hour after Fritz's Death

Thames was still outside with Dodo, looking down at her in more ways than one as she squirmed around like a dumb animal, which she for all intents and purposes was as far as Thames was concerned. He sneered at her, turning away, but not wanting to look back at the orphange. That was when a puch dropped out of Thames's vest, falling onto the ground and unraveling, revealing a loaf of bread with a single bite on it. He looked down, awkwardly at the loaf. "Darn" he thought, quickly reaching down to pick it up before anyone else could snatch it away from him.

He hadn't eaten all morning and was famished at that point. He opened his mouth to finish what he started, before his conscience hit him. Thames turned back to Dodo and sighed before tearing his bread in half, with one side noticeably larger than the other. He reluctantly handed Dodo the smaller piece, then as he looked down at her, took the piece back. "Fine. Here." he said, handing her the larger half.

@Blight Bug

"Ahaha! Reveal yourself, Slate Warrior!" the demon stepped out from under the flying castle, only for its face to be smashed in by Dokurorider's front wheel. "It may have been destroyed- but! It was all actually a part of my plan! For this means your monster loses 500 attack and 500 defense!" Dokurorider was made weakened.

"Next, I'll activate my trap card! Reverse Reuse! I can special summon two flip monsters in my graveyard onto your side of the field! Since you've been such a good servant to the Dark Lord, I shall grant you my two Slate Warriors in face-down defense mode." The two demons materialized on the Ghoulish Rider's side of the field, then kneeled down, holding cards over them, disappearing into the darkness.

@Zepavil

"I don't need any of your pretentious nerd shit! I-" Archfiend Reverse appeared to glare at Archfiend Cosmocrat, the two appearing to have some kind of angst against the other, the cards both glowing on the field and even feeling hot to touch in spite of being cardboard otherwise. Tsunozuka grumbled. "I'll activate the effect of Archfiend Reverse-" it stared back at him- "to destroy Archfiend's Oath, and in return, you have to tribute one of your monsters..." Tsunozuka appeared possessed, as if he didn't want to use the move he did.

"My turn... draw." he stated, before shaking his head as if to clear his mind. "Alright nerd! Let's go!" Thanks to Archfiend Palabyrinth, Archfiend Reverse was a whopping 3100 attack points, though thanks to all the cards in Taiyo's graveyard- partially thanks to Tsunozuka's moves itself, Archfiend Cosmocrat was also much bigger a threat to deal with. (How powerful is Cosmocrat?)

Luckily for Tsunozuka, thanks to his opponent's Pandemonium card, he didn't have to worry about running out of monsters for the effect of Reverse. "I normal summon Archfiend General! Next, I'll activate the effect of Archfiend Reverse, destroying Archfiend General and thanks to Pandemonium, I can add another Archfiend to my hand!"

"Ojama King. Attack his Life Points directly." he complied, the monster comically slamming against the other duelist, knocking his life points down to zero. The solid light quickly dissipated, as Manjoume walked over to Carnel.

"You did good. Especially had me with that lock. Maybe with a little luck, you would've beaten me. I'm sure there's one card in your deck that could've definitely saved you." He smiled. "Why don't you take a look at the next card in your deck? See what it was going to be?"
@Lord Szall

You could make an in-character post first of all. If you need help coming up with something, just say so.

@Satoshi Kyou

There's the curry professor from GX. You could also try picking a fight with the lunch man again.

@Zepavil

"I'm the one whose supposed to be master of archfiends! Nobody has this card, Archfiend Reverse, which has won me more games than I can count. Like I said, I'm the one true user of archfiends! You're just some poser!" Tsunozuka bantered.

"Battle!" he screamed. "Archfiend Reverse, destroy his face-down monster!"

@Blight Bug

"Because of the effect of Palace of Dark Illusions, my monsters can return to the shadows. I flip Night Assailant face-down once more. Then, I set another card face-down. I'll activate the card Yellow Luster Shield!" he declared. His monsters could not be seen, but there was certainly something lurking underneath his palace of Dark Illusions. Surrounding the castle was a pale, yellow forcefield.

"I'm not done yet! I'll set one card and end my turn!" he said. There was one card in his hand.

@Scarifar

"Good!" Manjoume applauded with his then empty hand. "Now you have a monster on the field and the only monster I have has zero attack points. After that attack, I'm at a measly 200 life points. If I can draw a monster though, I might be able to turn this one around right? All monsters in this deck have 0 attack. Does that mean I'm cocky? Probably." He bantered.

"Draw!" he declared. "A friend of mine's, he used to always draw the right card at the right time. Well, all but once I can remember, but that's a story for later. I'll activate the spell card, Fusion Recovery. It allows me to add one monster used as a fusion material and one polymerization from my graveyard to my hand."

The duelist apparently swatted away at the air. "Yeah yeah. I get it." he seemed to talk to himself. "Sorry. I discard Ojama Yellow using the effect of Ojama Country, allowing me to special summon Ojama King back from the graveyard! Our attack and defense point values are now reversed. Battle. Snowman Eater, attack his Spell Striker! Ojama King, attack his life points directly!"

"Because of Spell Striker's effect, I take zero Battle Damage from Snowman Eater's attack," Carnel explained after Spell Striker got eaten and destroyed. However, he had no further defenses against Ojama King, taking the full 3000 damage.

"Go ahead."
