A ghastly shiver crept up Marius' spine as he heard a voice in the distance that had already left an impression from earlier that day.
"Looks like we have company..."
The dust and sand kicked up around the town. Marius turned his head, glad he had a reason to ignore his newest fan club member, looking in the distance to the commotion and crash. He flipped out his phone and started scrolling through twitter, most people had no idea who the "sand man" was. He locked his phone, thinking for a moment. He tilted his head to the side as Enz and Yame approached
"I'm begging whatever god might exist that Enz doesn't have a stupid idea involving chasing that guy."
"Not as far as I know. Hey, you're another foreigner. I came here as a kid, though."
He finished eyeing up the shop window, facing Connor now.
"Nice to meet you, Connor. Don't take the entrance exam results with any kind of substance, they're hardly a very good indicator of anything."
Calling it that one of you will piss off Marius and he'll go full Gary Oak rivalry

Not a fan of any of these starters particularly but can always shift focus to a different poke, maybe I'll start with fletchling so any others aren't put off by lack of choice :) I'll draw up a sheet
I'm down for this if you give me a minute to think up some stuff for a sheet? How's battling/encounters/xp etc going to work? what starters are left?
