I've been here but had nothing to post to. Bloodstone just kind of noted out of there since no one cares about what he was trying to say, at least that's how he saw it.

No, I know how your characters see things, I felt like you gouys on your own were viewing him wrong. Don't get me wrong, I want you to hate him but I want you to hate him for the right reasons.

A lot of you are underestimating Blood, he's not a mass killer who only thinks of himself, he's more calculating and strategizes the best solution that benefits Home-World or gem-kind in general. Sure he's using half truths, but because he feels that the gems aren't old enough to hear the full truth. And yes, he did plan to give Spinel more freedom by removing her emotions but he even started he may have done more harm them good, that he made a mistake. Blood is evil and his emotions get the better of him but when he has a clear head, he is just trying to help who he believes to be the good guys.

Blood looked towards the giant, "and I'm not asking you to join a war, I'm trying to give you the ability to make a choice." Blood then heard the white one's name, Spinel, White Spinel, that struck a chord and Blood smiled, "You know, Spinel's typically aren't white unless you remove all impurities. I designed you and removed all impurities. I saw how emotions destroyed so many gems and I wanted to create a gem that wouldn't have this internal conflict. I tried to make your gem pure. Looking back though, I probably caused more harm than good for you. I apologize."

Bloodstone listened to what everyone had to say and nodded, none of it was to be replied to, it was simply them giving their feelings on the subject.

"The way I was made, is that why I can't experience the same emotions the people around me seem to? Is that why sharing some of Aquamarine's emotions made my mind... break?"

This caught his attention, each gem was made different to give them different capabilities but without knowing what gem she was he couldn't truly answer that question. "Well, to properly answer that question, I would need to know your gem but I doubt you'd give me that honor." He then finally thought about the green one's words, he had attacked them bit they didn't truly know that. "Yes, I did and those things but let me explain why. The drones were sent to recover you, I didn't know how you would react to them and their honestly the only thing I had to send. Since they were attacked, they automatically switched to attack mode which is why they brought out those shocker things. As for the Red Eye, I couldn't lose your position and it let me find where you were at. I admit it probably caused some havoc but the gravity field destroying some buildings was worth it to me to find you. As for the laser, after you damaged its scanning systems I couldn't just retreat, it would make me look weak. And you tell me what kind of military commander is suppose to show weakness. I could have done much worse, I could havee shot three lasers or, you know, aim."

@Akayaofthemoon I'm so sorry for all you've been through, I know what it's like to lose a patent to cancer, my father died the day after thanksgiving of last year and the next day was my brother's birthday. I'm sixteen and he's ten, it's been rough. Know that all of us are here for you, that's what makes us different from other roleplays, we aren't a bunch of roleplayers, we are a community, a second family as you put it. We care about each other including you, especially you, without you we wouldn't be together having this much fun. All I've done is fix this rollercoaster of its mistakes, you made it fun to ride. Thank you for this roleplay and thank you for bringing this community together. I wish you nothing but the best of luck and prosperity.
