@Raijinslayer Even though Blood may not seem like it, he was a leader not a boss. He would fight right alongside his allies. That was one of the main things he didn't like about Rose is that she let the other gems, like Pearl, do the fighting for her.

@Raijinslayer Well the experiment can't be performed without at least some shards to base the new gem off of. Blood would probably be at the front lines anyways and if one of his soldiers were injured he would most likely run to his aid and if said soldier died then Blood would gather his shards since during the middle of the war is when Blood started his experiments.

Edit: And what Akaya said is a good point. Blood wouldn't be able to let a friend, a loyal soldier, to just sit there in pieces.

@Raijinslayer With Blood's strength I'm sure he could retrieve shards in an active battlefield. And he only needs a couple shards to re-create a gem, the rest would be replaced in the experiment.

@Raijinslayer Well Blood doesn't like doing that kind of thing. He simply takes the broken gem bits and uses his lab to re-create a new gem making changes to the D.N.A to remove any possible imperfections. Which could have as variety of effects.

@Afina Woops, didn't even see that. But I don't see how to injure Zarxire in a one-on-one fight since it's hard to fight a mage on your own.

@Raijinslayer I wouldn't mind him being a re-creation since it seems like something Blood would do but we are scraping the perma-fusion idea and for him to be re-created Blood would need bits of Tiger's Eye so he could never come back.

@Afina Who knows what Drizzak is capable of but I'm pretty sure Sana can't do nuttier than force feeding a thief a fireball.

@Afina I love how two people let their villains go, others kill in a normal way, Hugh kills someone with a fork, and then Zarxire goes and makes someone eat a fireball. Yerp, we know who the nut of the group is.
