AOSORA HIGH SCHOOL (ALWAYS OPEN)

Manami sighed as the Opening Ceremony came to a close, and it was time for them to go to their new classes. As she got up she readjusted her skirt, and made sure her hair was still as good as she had it before the ceremony. The products she uses for her hair are quite expensive, so if they were to wear off only an hour after putting them on she'd have to have a sincere talk with the owner. Last, but not least was a nail check to see if the paint was still on them, and sure enough it was. After the checklist was complete it was time to go to her dull classroom where she'd surely have a nice time finding out who to poke at most. Then from there she'd have to go to the first Student Council meeting since much had to be planned out for the rest of the year.

Oh, look who we have here. Manami noticed the charm of the school, Simon, and still wondered what his deal was with treating every single girl like royalty. Half of them didn't have an inch of charm in themselves, so he was practically wasting his time on them. Across the GYM from her was Miyahara who she wondered if the rumor about her having multiple jobs was true. If it was then that girl was surely someone the complete opposite of herself. Well, I could have ended up like that. The thought alone made Manami snort. Should've, would've, could've, but didn't. In the same area was Elle, and let's just say Manami had a decent heart to not mess with Elle though she'd try if she felt like it later. I bet she hasn't even noticed I've heard her sing once. Not a bad voice, but not a voice that can reach stardom; sadly. Kyoichi, who was closer to her would be quite easy to command, or so she's heard from another student. Manami has never tried putting that into action, but give it time and she may actually do it. Let's see, who are some other needles in a haystack. That thought would have been a compliment if it weren't Manami thinking it.

Ah, Rini! how could I forget Rini?! She's quite the emotionless girl. Manami has seen her a couple of times, and has heard from a few students that Rini won't budge no matter how many times you push her around. It's enticing to know there's someone who will simply not break. It's intruiging to Manami to see how much it will take for that girl to falter, but in due time she'll have her fun. Looking around a bit more she noticed Gin who sticks out more than the others with his green highlight. Despite his looks he can be quite the smile machine, but just from looking at him one can wonder what he's been through...

Manami snapped out of her softhearted thinking, and pulled on her curl a bit as she looked for another person that had spiked her interest. It was a redhead she had been told about, but never really looked into since she'd have the opportunity to do so soon enough. Ah, Jiro! she finally saw him closer to the back of the GYM. that guy was as interesting as Simon though he didn't pass his charm around like a maniac. Some would say he's one of those bad boys especially in this school, but she had no idea about it other than what was told to her. She'd have to see for herself what kind of person he was before she'd approach since all she had to go on was what others said. Technically that's half of what she always goes on, but something told her to be a bit more careful with that fellow. Last, but not least among this school of plain freaks were the twins who were just too intriguing to pass up especially with someone like Erion who seems to protect his sister, Estelle. If she wanted to know Erion then she'd have to target his twin sister, and that wouldn't be to hard of a task since she looks like she needs a friend or two.

"Out of all the boring people here it seems like this school at least has some interesting faces." Manami murmured to herself as she chuckled.

“I’m almost there.” Tenkai whispered to herself as she sat in a small canoe that she “borrowed”. As the canoe rocked from side to side she wondered how she’d be able to get through the Fire Nations ships that were hundreds of miles away from the island. They were there to protect the residents who reside on the island from intruders like her. In all respects she wasn’t going there to cause any type of harm to the people, but because she was a water bender on a canoe heading for that island those in the right mind wouldn’t even try to hear her out more or less let her step foot on it. How she was going to get through the blockade was beyond her due to the fact that she hadn’t even planned on stealing any type of “boat” in the first place. As a matter of fact, she didn’t even steal the canoe because she had left a bag of coins right where the canoe was, so they’d be able to buy themselves a new boat. In all honesty though one would say it was stealing since she made no verbal agreement on buying one in the first place, but it was about time to move on and let bygones be bygones.

Tenkai could feel that she was losing speed, so instead of using a paddle, which wasn’t anywhere to be found when she had taken it, used her bending to be able to speed up the boat. It was crucial to make it to the island soon since she had no idea how long the Avatar was going to be staying there. Technically she had no idea if he was there at all, but if he was then because it was a vacation spot she’d assume the Avatar wouldn’t be there for long.

As she got closer to the blockade Tenkai gathered all of her things to put in a small satchel she had bought. It would have been a better idea to buy a bigger satchel for multiple reasons, but she wouldn’t have had enough money to leave in exchange for the Canoe. Nonetheless, it wasn’t such a bad idea to travel light since a larger bag would possibly weigh her down; literally. She then grabbed a map she had under the wooden seat, and looked at it to make sure she was where she wanted to be. Navigation wasn’t her strong suit, but she was quite certain that up ahead would be Ember Island.

Finally, after making sure everything was set she packed it all in the satchel, carefully stood up in the Canoe, and took one step into the water. Sadly, her other foot got stuck on the rim of the Canoe, so instead of falling straight in she flipped the Canoe over while slamming right onto the water. It felt as if someone had slapped her with ten thousand paddles, so she grabbed her face with her hands as she floated back up inside the upside down Canoe. A few seconds passed as she composed herself, and made sure there was no bleeding anywhere. I'm never doing that again...

Because there was no time to flip the canoe over Tenkai just left it as is while focusing back on her mission. She created a small water bubble around her head to be able to breath underwater since she'd be under for longer than a human can hold their breath. It wasn't an easy task to create something like a water bubble more or less have it steady when her whole surrounding would be water instead of air, but it was better than nothing. Once Tenkai had the bubble mostly stable she then ducked underwater where she kicked her feet, and wiggled her fingers to bend the water into creating thrust that would slowly begin to speed her swimming. Not only did she have to dive deep enough to stay off of the Fire Nations ships radar she also had to be quick since the oxygen in the water bubble was decreasing by the minute.

@Katakon Cool, cool. It's going to be interesting

@AirBender Yeah, she wouldn't like Yue at first because she'd assume he'd be the typical non-bender, but eventually she'd be able to see that even though he doesn't have bending he's still very good at other things. As for being treated more coldly she would know that it's because of her relation to the Water Tribe though would still be a bit upset, and would try to show others little hints at how water bending can be a good thing like healing. (she'll have trouble with that part though since she did learn most of her non-healing skills from warrior/in-training men).

@Bright_Ops If it's alright with you i was thinking that my character could try and learn a few fighting skills from yours, but would be quite reluctant to do so since he does like "beautiful woman", and she'd be annoyed with the fact that he'd prefer looks over personality. Plus I saw that he likes being right whereas in Tenkais case she doesn't like to be told what to do which can be quite the problem for both of them.

@Katakon Yeah, that'd be perfectly fine! I figured something like that would happened what with his backstory involving such trauma with water benders. Though Tenkai would have a bit of trouble with Tai following her as well as having to prove herself to him when she hasn't done anything wrong. She'd also butt heads with him on more than one occasion since he won't be able to let her practice with Masura. Is that alright?

@KindledBeast You use "[color=light blue]" before the text you want to color, and then you use "[/color]" after the text you want to color. Also, no spacing when you write out "lightred" or "lightblue".
