Though I should mention that if you're entering at this stage then you would't be one of the units that was assigned to the Reclaimers. You'd be one of those mid mission recruits. Either an enemy that joins us, someone who helps us fight or someone caught in the crossfire. Of course you could I suppose also be a late edition. Someone the ruler found last minute and sent along to catch up to the Reclaimers.
Remember what happened last time he got "excited".
Also, how were the Reclaimers formed? Were they volunteers from the army, a open to everyone of the populace (With 'tryouts', obviously), or something entirely different?

Some people like Hugh, Jakobe and Syrena were assigned from the court or army to the Reclaimers. Most other members answered a kingdom wide summons for able warriors. The ruler contacted the monasteries for healers and took the best of those who applied.
Hey Lug, since me and Xan's collab is using Ronin could you give me some more information on the guy so that I know how he fights, how he talks, that sort of thing.
I don't think it's altogether a big deal. I mean sure you go around making a bunch of huge mistakes over and over again people are going to look down on you but it's not going to be like "Ah there goes that knight that made that mistake that one time. Let us shun him and his family for the next seven generations"

You do things right people are going to appreciate you. You do everything wrong no one is going to want to associate with you but there aren't any really strict rules about honor. Unless of course you want to make up a country for you character to come from in which honor is a big deal.
Isn't that like every writing contest though? =D

No those are just sort of odd and usually interesting. I'm talking about the kind of thing that leaves you thinking "What were the writers smoking when they came up with that?"
<Snipped quote by Prince of Seraphs>

I'm working on a character. I just can't come up with a good name.

The exact opposite of my normal problem.

Edit: I don't actually remember if there are any knives/daggers in Awakening. I feel like there isn't.

In Awakening no but in other fire emblems there are daggers that technically fall under sword class. They are less powerful but they can be thrown like javelins. I take it you're character is a thief then? If you give me a basic idea of his/her character I could help brainstorm.
Where you wanting to create a character and join us or are you just popping in the chat. Either's cool I'm just curious.

Also Lug, I realize that Marcus isn't actually fighting but he's on the battlefield. Come on man, I'm feeling excluded here.
I might make it a thing. Oi @Lugubrious - How many credits for a gender swap? xDD

Hey guys, have you ever seen one of those shows that's been going on awhile and they start doing some strange stuff and wacky stuff and you just know that the writers have finally run out of ideas and now the show is running on fumes. Colloquially it's referred to as jumping the shark (from an episode of Happy Days when a character literally jumped over a shark on water skis). I think the point at which we start pulling shit like that is when we can apply that title to ourselves.
