@Lugubrious Could we have some more time for the Ogdoad/Dagger mission and to actually get out into Vale and party. I mean when we have missions on Fridays we usually get anywhere upwards of a month to complete them, it has been nine days since the party/dagger mission started. This is off the cuff IC inspired interaction. I think we should give it a little more time to grow and develop. There's only so many kinds of interacting and bonding you can do on a mission. Usually coming down to "I trust you to make this decision for the crew" or "we had each other's backs in that fight, our social link raised to level three". I think the spontaneous let's hang out as a large group thing should be given more time simply because it is not governed by any sort of rules. Literally anything could happen.

Does anyone involved in the dagger retrieval mission want to collab the rest of it?
Figures. Ebon is still there so if any of the swimmers want to try to talk strategy they should do so before Ebon decides to try on his own. I'm not just going to let him serve as a distraction. I'd also appreciate it if his R-Types don't just get one-shotted for the sake of giving everyone else a chance. They aren't so slow that they can't avoid an attack, especially not the ones that have a radar for better perception.

The Ogdoad isn't stupid enough to go above water without a good reason. While in the water he has the advantage and his perception of water flow is more accurate than an Ogdoad's natural sight. The R-Types are easily slow enough to snag on his barbed tongue once under the water. Besides I thought you had a couple hundred of them, what's four or five lost.
Doesn't mean Ebon can't try. Besides, defeating the Ogdoad is mostly secondary: he's after the daggers. Unless they're inside the monster itself I figured Ebon could try to use his R-Types to distract it and use one or two to scourer the lake bed for her daggers. The fact that everyone else might also be helping fighting it just makes things easier.

@Lugubrious I know I won the contest but is there any criticism you can offer me or anything you especially liked? I am attempting to improve my writing so feedback both positive and negative is important.

Did we receive three credits for our mission at the Shelter? Cause I'm adding up my total from the contests and my calculations show I should have ten credits while the doc says I have thirteen.
I refuse to give up. If we can't manage something, we'll try again at a later date.

Sapphire will appreciate the effort but the materials for her new weapons arrive Tuesday IC time. She'll have a reforged copy of Morpheus and Phobator (which will be named Somnus and Melinoe) by the end of this time skip coming up.
Assuming the Ogdoad doesn't just go after Ebon, I figured he could defeat it with his R-Types. Doing it like the games, he'll just have to make sure to dodge extensively, shoot the weak points, and use his wave cannon strategically.

And that is exactly why everyone is telling you Ebon is overpowered. The Ogdoad is a Riesen Class Grimm. No one is supposed to be able to defeat it on there own without five years of Beacon training and a great deal of field experience. The last Riesen Class that was encountered in this RP took a god damn tank to deal with it.

Also it has a bit of an obsession with devouring his R-Types so avoiding being targeted might not be an option.
BLUGH, that post sucked. Lugu, if we don't manage to get through the Daggers saga, what do we do? D:

We could always have them decide they need to strategize and come back to it next week.
To me, a 'Swan Song' means a second wind. Like a phoenix, shot down only to stand right back up with renewed life and vigor.

I always thought it meant one last great act, like at the very end of an opera the last verse before the curtain closes.
Does anyone here watch Once Upon a Time?

Team SASG relevant.
And it will be evening for the next six hours for me, but as a merciful GM I will have it done within that time.

Yay. :)
