I'm new to the roleplayers guild, I'm not new to roleplaying in script-form, but I am new to the novel-esque style of roleplaying.

The application will more than likely be messed with a little bit, but.. this is what it is at the moment.

Character Application

At the moment, I feel like the short biography is really all of the biography, since nothing in his past is likely to come up.. If it's a requirement, I'll think of something. :P

Alias: none
Real Name: Kei (pronounced more like 'kay' than 'key')
Age: 302
Gender: Male, but since he's a demon - or at the very least, very demon-like - he could change it.

Appearance: (I'm currently drawing a picture of Kei right now)
Kei is a reptilian humanoid with white scales and red markings that resemble tribal fire tattoos. His eyes are the colors of fire - red, orange, yellow, with hints of white. The whites of his eyes are actually black. Despite his intimidatingly intense eyes, he's rather small, maybe two or three feet tall... normally. He's also usually very smiley and looks like he's up to no good.. Or like he stole the keys to your car and hid them in the place you'd never think of looking.

Personality: As stated before, he's smiley and really is always planning his next little trick, smiling mischievously, which would make anyone think he's against the heroes, but he IS a hero.. Just in his own special way. He's very much a Chaotic Good type of hero. He follows his own rules most of the time... Sometimes you can reign him in.

Powers: He can shapeshift (but has limits he actually set on himself - nothing taller than 12 feet tall. not one inch. Last time he made himself very, very large, people got hurt. Bad. Never again.)
He has the ability to manipulate and breathe fire, much like a little dragon.
He can also summon various things, but he must be asked to summon things that are larger than what he can hold himself. If a small child can't hold it steadily, he probably can't.. and he has to summon it. Has to.

Weakness: Religious symbols. The Christian Cross, Om, the Star of David, Thor's Hammer, Taijitu.. He's not a demon belonging to any one religion, so all of the symbols hurt.. It depends on the person's faith in that symbol.

Short Biography: He wasn't exactly born. It's more like he just popped into existence, much like the others of his kind. Unlike his kind, however, he was born white, with red markings, and striking fire-colored eyes. He was outcasted not long afterwards, to say the least. He found himself out of Hell, after.. a hundred years, maybe? And he firmly dug himself into the cultures, the experiences, the everything about being in such a fascinating place. Such an alive place! He loved it! It was bright, colorful, full of wonder. He loved it. And still does. He especially loves all the cuckoo craziness that is 'people with super powers.' Supers. Metahumans. Supes. Freaks of nature. Interestingly-abilitied people. Whatever they're called, he loves 'em. Admires them. Wants to be like them. With some explosions and raging infernos, if he can sneak that in.

Fun Facts: Even though he doesn't have to eat, he finds it enjoyable. He's probably the reason your McDonald's is missing some fries, or that slice of cake you swore you saved for later is all gone - not even crumbs.
He has a tendency to set fires.. Especially while he's anxious for something.. If you hear him setting fires as you go into the bathroom, he's probably booby trapped something in there. Prepare your anus.

Hi?

I'm not new to roleplaying, but I'm new to doing it in this way. A friend of mine - LHG100 is his username here - suggested I try it a while back. I only just now made an account. I roleplayed on another site before, usually in a chatroom, so this is going to be a test of my patience.

I normally roleplay as follows
Character: Speech *action* thought...

But browsing on here, I've noticed that it's more like writing little snippets of a novel which, though basically foreign, I'm willing to try.

I'm mostly flexible when it comes to my interests. I'm most comfortable with fantasy, sci-fi, urban fantasy, and world building, though

also if you hadn't noticed, I ramble. Quite a bit. Please forgive the rambles.
