Current If we win here we will win everywhere. The world is a fine place and worth the fighting for and I hate very much to leave it.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

Interests and Experiences It is best to write about that which you know, rather than to fictionalize what you don't know. Go out into the world and experience what you want to know. Then write about those experiences.

I was thinking a female outlaw would be a nice addition to the group. Something similar to a Sadie Adler...

Awesome! I love Sadie Adler! She is the best. I was thinking the other day, the only thing this group needed was a female character.

Update: I am working on two other RolePlays. One is a 1x1 and I have to respond to that tonight. I can't let it go any longer. The other one posted about the same as this one. If I don't get something up tonight, hopefully tomorrow. Bear with me. I lost my cell phone on Saturday. It was run over by several cars; maybe a hundred. Anyway, it is crushed and no longer works. My POS laptop will not load past that stupid picture from some happy place on the planet. I tried for over a half an hour to get to it to start with no luck. I use that laptop for EVERYTHING! The computer I am using now, is mine, but it is one my children use for games. I just announced tonight they can't use it for games for awhile. I also couldn't call my PC Tech guy because his number is on my phone which was crushed last weekend. That's not completely true. I found his number online and called him before I posted here. Wish me lucking in getting my shit to work.

Oops! yes, wrong thread. lol

@KelewenI am in a Napoleon-esque thread commanding a brigade of Infantry (Austrian). I was hoping to get some support from my compatriots who have cavalry units.
I am considering sending light infantry (Jaegers) into the woods, either to the north or the south with the intent of attacking the enemy flank. I have four battalions of Jaegers on the field at 400 soldiers per battalion or 1600 Jaegers. Although they may be sufficient to turn the flank of an attacking infantry force, I was considering a formation of Dragoons or other cavalry might be more effective. POssibly splitting the force by sending cavalry to one side and Jaegers to the other? What are your thoughts on this idea?

Naturally, this would be to attack the enemy while they are advancing. The artillery can attack the advancing infantry at range, but the infantry won't be able to engage until about a hundred yards, given the use of muskets. Undoubtedly, the enemy will stop between 70 and 100 meters to fire a volley before charging with the bayonet. At that time, when the enemy is unleashing a volley, would be the perfect time for Jaegers and possibly cavalry to conduct a double envelopment while they think they are attacking.

I posted this in another thread I am in by mistake. The Thread moderator was quite confused. LOL

Well, if Marion sends Cavalry, the infantry will assume squares. If there is an artillery battery close by, a regiment could encircle the battery to protect it from a cavalry assault. If it is an infantry general advance, then Let those guns blast away! I believe the British laid down on the west side of hte slope, so many of the rounds flew over their head. then they stood up just as the "Old Guard" got to their positions.
Ah, this makes sense! Yes, reverse slope defense will work here. Now I understand your line of questioning in the PMs. I was putting a lot of detail into my responses, because I didn't know what you were getting at. but the skirmishers will still be about 200 meters below the military crest of that western slope.
