Catherine was relieved when she was told by the slightly frightening man with the pipe that he was alright, but the the two chefs in the kitchen were dead. She may not have known them well if at all but any death was something to be sad about, though the zombie being killed slightly lightened the mood for her but this could be attributed to Aranea's love of death. She rubbed her sore leg and looked slightly worried "It is concerning to say the least... I'm still having trouble believing it..." She looked down at the zombies pasted skull one of her fingers twitched and she looked away not sure how to feel. Then the soldiers started started flooding into the cafe, now Catherine was slightly glad she hadn't squeezed through the door. There were so many people in there now and Catherine doesn't do cramped spaces, not out of fear but more out of need.

She was shocked as they all started raising weapons, Catherine put her hands in the air to show she meant no harm even if no weapons got pointed at her. Her left index finger twitched as Aranea displayed he distaste at how much of a little bitch Catherine was.
"W-what going on? T-the zombie has been dealt with, a-and the man with the pipe was the one to save everyone!" Catherine tried to make out any of the accusations being thrown around then one struck her suspects!? Catherine didn't know how to take this and Aranea was livid, she didn't fight for control though she knew that lashing out at so many soldiers wouldn't be fun or productive. These fucking idiots! One dude is literally standing right there with a zombie brain covered pipe! There's that kid who's probably to stupid to have pulled this off. And you couldn't even get your massive ass into the cafe! Fucking monkey people honestly! Catherine felt kinda bad because she agreed with Aranea to some extent.

Diana wasn't particularly happy that the mission was being delayed but she understood why. She stood there looking at the sleeping Marlin until Rhythm called her "miss intimidation" then she frowned not liking the nickname, though Rhythm seemed to have a head on his shoulders, but that might not be the case forever if he made more nicknames for Diana. She didn't take her eyes of Marlin mainly because she could look at him without fear of scaring him, even though he was unconscious it was still nice to be able to look at someone and not fear them fearing you. She could hear the conversation slightly as she had remained in the room with Marlin and Livid, she figured she should move a little closer to the group so she could hear what they were talking about so she left the two in the hospital beds and leaned on the wall next to the doorway. She heard the story of the lost teammates and Rhythm's shock at not being told earlier, her interest was peeked upon mention of the mission but it was nothing she didn't already know.

Then Diana heard a voice start talking, it was the girl in the hospital bed commenting on something, so Diana didn't care to look into the room again. Then Marlin's voice cursed rather loudly and Diana slowly got off the wall and went to stand in the doorway. She was awfully quiet as she stood there, she was interested in where this interaction would go so she kept to herself while only partly being exposed through the door. She did not care if she was found out or anything was just interested in what might be said. She also waved over to the others sitting on the bench and jerked her head in the direction of the two bed ridden ones. She thought she'd better tell them that they were awake and that was the easiest way she could.

Diana growled as she watched Livid get KO'd then turned away from Eve and Yoki walking towards Marlin. She gathered her things out from under his arm with a level of delicacy she doesn't often exhibit, making sure not to agitate his injury. She then looked back at Yoki and Eve after taking a seat down next to Marlin. She didn't feel like talking due to be fairly agitated so she kept to herself until the ambulance arrived.

After they got to hospital Diana stood there with Eve and Yoki, she looked at Marlin's arm and how damaged it was. "So what now. Are we going to postpone the next mission?" Diana seemed a little worried but it was hard to tell if it was about going on the mission or Marlin. She looked between Yoki and Eve not making eye contact but getting very close. She did feel kind of bad for Marlin, he kept getting hurt rather badly, Maybe I should have ordered more medical supplies... she thought. She was probably going to need them.
Looking good!@TheMushroomLord Chuck her into the character tab, and just have her show up during lunch. And Jerome will probably just talk with her briefly.

Travis hissed as the Chimera tore out bits of his shoulder with his savage bite, teeth rending the flesh. even his durable Kokaku was unable to fully negate the damage its filthy maw could bring. As he was about to go and try to remove the beast a new combatant entered the fight spraying pepper spray into the beasts eyes, Travis caught a massive amount of pepper spray had just detonated near his face and he was hit by a lot of it. He was thankful to have his shoulder free from the Chimera's jaws and he retracted his Kagune so he could wipe his eyes, probably not the smartest move in hindsight but he did it anyway.

He looked around for the person who saved him squinting through the pepper spray but he was unsuccessful, he was told to run but he didn't want to leave Kristian. But he knew he was also a hindrance in this match up so he backed off slightly but didn't flee the scene. He felt so useless but he didn't want to go in whit his massive kagune while slightly blinded from pepperspray, plus his wounded shoulders didn't help. God I'm useless.

As Diana got close to the the source of the explosion she stopped dragging her blade along the ground and looked around trying to pick up any noise. She could hear some fighting but the dust that was thrown everywhere by Marlin was obstructing her vision. She stood still for a moment looking around before spotting Marlin against a wall one arm totally covered in bruises, she knew it had to be him who made that sound, not many people had that much raw power. "Marlin you idiot, what have you done this time?.." She knelt down next to him and took a look at his arm, she couldn't really help him because she had mo supplies and that kind of injury was a trick one to deal with. She ended up putting her bag of clothes under his bruised arm.

She then stood up and held her sword at the ready as she walked towards the sound of the confrontation, she was going to give the idiots involved a right smack. She waded through a small cloud of dust and found herself looking at a battle between Eve and some punk ass looking girl on a hover board. She frowned and started walking towards the girl on the board, she knew she'd be able to get to Eve later, she sheathed her sword wanting to use her hands for this next part. She scowled at Eve and waited for her to notice that Diana was now watching, didn't announce herself or anything then just walked at Livid, she had her fists clenched and would look up at Livid until she got into arms reach.
sorry @Kaesus But we're full I've been meaning to change the status.

Travis watched the Chimera launch itself into the air high above its intended victims, Travis lifted his bladed arm as the beast let out a hail of shards. He blocked most of them thanks to the sheer size and density of his kagune but that defence came at the cost of speed, a shard got past his block and cut open his regular shoulder making him hiss in pain dammit! Travis then saw the Chimera dive towards him. His eyes widened and he jumped to the side avoiding the plummeting monster.

He got to his feet only see the chimera lunging at him mouth agape ready to rip a chunk out of him. He tried turning so the shoulder of his blade arm would be what entered the jaws of his aggressor, he couldn't try and swing his arm because of the risk of hitting Kristian. He may have strength but he lacks the speed and the versatility of a shorter extendable Kagune. He couldn't see Kristian behind the Chimera but was glad its main focus seemed to be him, although this was also a life threatening situation and it was hard to be happy about any of it.

Sarah looked down at Bizz and yawned, "I guess we could start getting ready for class? I mean what's the time actually, I might try and catch more sleep.". Sarah looked back at her bed covering her mouth as she yawned again. god I'm still tired. Sarah took a seat on her bed and looked at the others, "I'm up for anything though, so you guys choose." Sarah sounded sleepy but determined as she smiled at her friends she just met yesterday.

Diana's fists eased up slightly as Marlin spoke, she would be pleased being told she was correct, But the context made that fact more grim then pleasing. Diana looked over at Marlin not making eye contact but at the very lest looking at his shoulder. She struggled to keep her her face from showing her shock at him admitting it, she thought this rough rider from Vacuo would defend his beliefs and way of life. Again she'd misjudged this man, she was questioning how she thought of him. He was still a drunk fool at times, but perhaps there was something underneath all that. She could almost feel Marlins sadness as he looked down at the bar. His next sentence hit her like a truck "I hope that one day you won't have to keep your hand on that hilt," She felt a tugging in her chest, if only he knew why I can't do that.... Diana looked up as Marlin stood up and went to leave the bar, she had no words for him as he left the bar. Her eyes followed him to the door as her left, again more thought of her past struck her but this time she felt no anger.

She thought of her brother and how much he'd cared for her and looked after her in her early years. She'd be nowhere without him, she'd have been killed before she got to speak her first words, have her first meal... She owed everything to her brother, and Marlin, Marlin reminded her of him. She got up with her bag of shopping intending on heading back to her apartment when she heard/felt a extremely loud bang. She then noticed her hand was already on the hilt of her sword, Marlin was right, she really did have her hand on that hilt far too often. She scowled and knew she couldn't just leave whatever that made that sound alone, so she nodded to the bartender and headed out of the bar. She then headed in the direction where she thought the sound had come from. She held her bag of shopping in one hand and her sword in the other. She was conflicted on how to feel and wanted some time to think, but she needed to take care of whatever this disturbance was. She frowned and lowered her blade to the ground so she could feel the satisfying scrapping of her blade against the pavement. She noticed a large cloud of dust raising from where the explosion must have come from, she headed in that direction Marlin...
