I could do a different character if you want. I just always liked the Yarne/Nah pairing in Fire Emblem and always wondered how a Taguel/Manakete/Human crossbreed would go. So here's my attempt.



Hmmm... As much as I like the ambition of this, I'm going to default to the rest of the players to make the decision here. Having the ability to use both stones is not a problem that can't be looked over, but both at once... I don't even know where to begin making the stats for that one. If the other's are behind you, I'll accept it and work on that, but her armor gives her +5 SKL and her weapon a +5 STR. Put that out to the side of the skills in parenthesis ().

Is see what your going for here, and most of it is fine. However, I would rather see wounded warrior decrease damage by a flat amount or lower percentage. Also, make chivalry a nearby ally. Fix that, and you're good.

Edit: I just noticed the 'Killing' weapon. At first you're going to have only simple arms at your disposal, nothing that will effect stats. You're free to have an exotic sword, that just means it'll be like a double bladed sword or something to that effect, but it won't provide any benefits at the moment.
I'll have something up tomorrow.
I think I like your original plan, counterattacking seems like it would get too complicated and slow it down too much.


I see. I'll give it some thought and let you all know what I decide tomorrow. I thought I had this all mapped out, but you all are bringing up some pretty good questions. Just hope it'll deliver the experience you're all wanting.

Hallow Bastion-
The events of Hallow Bastion are pretty much common knowledge for any space-faring traveler, but for the uninitiated; it was a world that was utterly and completely consumed by the heartless lead by Maleficent. Though merely a boy, he rushed to the aid of his friends to protect their home. It was then that a keyblade appeared to him, allowing him to hold off the heartless as best he could (with assistance from other of the world), granting time for many- including himself- to escape. Having to escape his home-world along with many others, Nero took up residence in Traverse Town, though maintaining a safe distance away from those he grew up with. Despite his readiness to assist those who needed him, he felt somewhat responsible for the fall of his home, and isolated himself from the rest. He figured that if he could endure being on his own, he could become stronger for the sake of everyone.

Abilities:

[Able Swordsman]
With practice on his original world (plus the additional training he received against the Heartless of Traverse), Nero became a capable fighter in his own right. Refined and fluid, his motions waste no effort and his strikes are aimed to fell the Heartless with haste.

[Strength of One]
Crafting himself into a solo fighter, Nero has had to endure several hardships and physical trials to the point that he is able to endure more then many others his age. He feels pain, but he's able to ignore it, causing him to be able to fight at full prowess despite being injured.

[Magic Inept]
Despite his best effort, magic has never been his best asset. It takes him longer to cast spells and cannot produce as many spells as others.

[Lion's Roar]
Nero has a very powerful voice, so much so that at his loudest; it is almost painful to listen to. Many will have to shelter their ears, and those with sensitive hearing will feel compelled to flee.

[Sketch Artist]
Nero loves to draw, and as such, he'll often be seen alone with a sketch pad and pencil. Though not masterful in any respect, the pictures are of good quality and detail.

What are you afraid of?

"Failure. I don't want to lose another home because I'm not strong enough... That and spiders. Creepy little monsters."

What do you want out of life?

"I want all this to end. The Heartless, the Nobodies... I just want to go home and for it to be like it was before."

What's most important to you?

"Life? Peace? Friends? Well if I had any that is. I guess I'm trying to say that Cloud had it right when he said, 'There's nothing I don't cherish.'"
How about a similar system, and with 2 more speed, you'd get one uncountered attack, 4 more speed, you'd get two, ect, ect...
I'm guessing 'Brave' weapons are OP as heck, 'cause they'd double your available actions.


It's not outside the realm for late game, but definitely not early. And I rather like the speed idea... We'll go with that for now. I'll edit the OOC soon with changes to the ruling as we discuss them.

Edit: What do you think of having a speed pool? For example: Short distance run= 1 speed, long distance= 2, dead sprint (short)= 3, Dead sprint (long)= 5? Attack x1= 2 speed, Attack x2= 4, Attack (uncountered)= 4x the number of attacks made?
This seems rather interesting. You are still accepting, right?

I had planned on it being more of you posting your attack and then seeing the consequences during the GM post. But if you would like to see it resemble more of the FE counter attack system, let me know. This will mean you get more attacks against the target, but they'll also get more attacks against you.
