Current Time to blow the dust off this account then. Been quite awhile since I checked out the site, so I'm excited to see what I find!

Welp, they removed the tracker in a location based....tracking....game. Good one Niantic, Pokémon hunting in GO just had to be more random didn't it?

Bio

Roleplay topics of interest: Pokémon is a big one. The canon of the main series games specifically, though I'm cool with a few select points from the anime thrown in. I'm also a big fan of the Mystery Dungeon universe. I'm good with RP'ing as a Trainer, but I can handle playing a Pokémon too. I prefer to have alot of interactions between the characters in an RP. I enjoy to flesh things out and give my character actual 'character'. Original worlds? Eh, I'm ok with as long as I got alot of background to them.

Recently, I've been in the mood to try RP in other series/fandoms, so if I can be sold on an idea, I'll probably look into it. Let it be known that I'm not into anything 18+ or sexual in nature. It's just not my thing.

Roleplay style: For each post that I make, I write about a paragraph or two. I try to include a bit of environmental detail, physical character detail, and sometimes delve into the mind of my characters to see what they think about the situation at hand. I'm trying to get better at expressing my characters emotion through body language since I tend to run out of descriptive words after a few posts. Most of my characters will most likely be teen aged or occasionally young adult. I also try to keep my characters male, but I can play a girl well enough.

Timezone: I feel this is an important thing to mention. My timezone is EST (GMT/UTC-5). During pretty much every month of the year baring July, August, and the later half of December, I'll be going though school during the week. So I'll most likely be able to get posts out on the weekends or later in the day when I get home.

Standing up and crossing his arms as he looked down at the injured child, Devon groaned and shook his head, a disappointed frown forming on his lips as Nasir spoke. "It's always the same story. I wish all these poachers would just give it up and find some way to make money that doesn't involve screwing with Pokémon."

Looking down at the little lion cub, the scarred teenager gave a brilliant grin. "Don't worry little dude. We're nothing like the guys that hurt you back there. Ace used to be wild until about an hour ago, so he could probably vouch for us."
Devon the Totodile and Brick the Poliwrath
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian
Smiling at the expected non-negative reaction to the Kirlia's secret, the Totodile reached over to wrap an arm around Lilisette. "Yup. We're both in the same boat, with no memories. But Lilisette, just because some things don't add up to what you think they should be, doesn't mean you should blame yourself for it. It's not your fault, you couldn't have known."

Looking over at her with a toothy smile, Devon squeezed her a bit. "I want you to be here with us, because you're my friend. And I promise, we'll get both of our memories back, and figure out a way to get us both back home when all of this is over. Right guys?"

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Ninian
Nodding at the approval, the Feraligatr set the tube down on the small table before him and reached back into his bag to pull out two small wood cups. As he twisted the cap of the container and began to pour the two sweet smelling beverages, Raiden stared at the falling liquids with a clouded gaze and spoke softly. "I know you want to dance despite what the Guild members told you, and that alone proves how strong you are. Being able to put on a brave face and make everyone happy during stressful times is a tough thing to do,"

Raiden paused for a moment as he reached down to gently pick up one of the full cups between two claws, and extend his arm to offer the cup to the Psychic dancer and smile widely. "...but I also think it's important. You won't be able to do your show tonight, but that doesn't mean you can't dance at all. I doubt the Guild members would mind if you did a little impromptu show in the Square today, would they?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Glyph's Guild - Guildmaster's Office]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
Folio's Guildmaster had remained silent with a bitten lip throughout the dispute in the doorway, meanwhile a few of the badge-wearing Pokémon in the crowd began to whisper.

"Are you kidding me? This special snowflake ditched his own Guild to come help us cause he thinks we can't handle it? What makes him think that his Guild can handle it then huh?"

"I'm more surprised that he's even heard of us....This town isn't exactly easy to get to."

"Hey, the more the merrier. If they're being truthful, why not let em help out?"

"Time and space being warped? I think he might mean the crazy vertigo up here.....What? Is it just me?"

"Quiet."

The whispers immediately went silent as the Flygon barked the command. The Marowak and the Breloom standing behind Robel backing off into the crowd as Glyph's wings fluttered a bit as he took a deep breath through his nose, his glassy red gaze drilling into the Absol that had stepped forward's eyes.

"Omen, while I understand that you and your companions mean well, your actions have been far too hasty. Until you unkindly eavesdropped on our meeting, you had no details of what these senses could mean, thus the Pokémon you have warned have nothing to go off of for preparations." Narrowing his sharp eyes, he continued. "It is very unwise to work based off of mere danger sense. Even the predictions of powerful Psychics must be questioned until evidence is presented. We only have solid evidence for a disastrous event because of this town's history, and because of investigation done by our members. What we do not have solid evidence for however, is when this will take place, or if Folio will be the source. We can only prepare for the worst based on the information we have, and see what happens."

Crossing his arms, the green Dragon's harsh stare softened a bit. "Now, if you want to help, you can prove it by travelling to nearby Dungeons, and recruiting willing Pokémon to help defend Folio. Are we clear?"

Nice, got two people. Just wanna see if we'll get a few more.

Basic Plot Outline

After the Owl Suppression Operation that shook the 20th Ward, Tokyo had seemingly gone quiet. Organized crime pertaining to Ghouls started to drop significantly with the disappearance of Aogiri Tree, the Clowns, Black Dobers, and the Apes. Many other gangs and organizations seemed to simply fade away from the media. The general public had many different takes on the circumstances. Some seen it as a stroke of good luck, perhaps the Ghouls simply decided to move on to other interests, while others, such as the CCG, are anxious and are awaiting the predicted 'come back' of large scale Ghoul activity in the city with weapons drawn.

It has been two years since the drop in large scale activity, and life for the millions of citizens of Tokyo goes on. The CCG's agents are now a rare sight in many of the Wards which incidents were common place, the cities rather lax attitude now even beginning to spread to the Ghoul underworld. Though things are going smoothly on a physical sense, there is a new problem starting to affect the populous. A new strain of influenza has been identified in the less wealthy districts of Tokyo has local medical personal baffled. The strain appearing to be completely foreign to the country as a whole, and in extreme cases, deadly to both human and Ghoul alike. Medical professions all over the world are scrambling to find a solution as the city undergoes quarantine.

But, it seems that a solution has been found. The doctors of Tokyo praising the power of medical science to bring a vaccine for the flu dubbed 'Death's Hand' to the masses. The vaccine is quickly being distributed throughout the affected Wards with amazing results. Those treated are seeing no symptoms even while inhabiting infected zones, and those with early signs of the virus are beginning to fight off the flu with the immunity boost. It seems that the would-be crisis will soon be averted.

However, that isn't the end of the pandemic. The Ghouls of Tokyo are beginning to notice a horrific trend with the closing of 'Death's Hand's influence. Hundreds of Ghouls are dying from heart attacks in the streets, and the causes are completely unknown. Many suspected it to be an after affect of the influenza, but that is soon proven false when those who had never shown signs whatsoever drop dead.

The virus crisis is averted for the humans, but what will be the fate of the cities Ghouls?

This RP would take place after the events of the Tokyo Ghoul anime's second season, due to my little experience with the Tokyo Ghoul manga. I just find it would be easier to tell a story in that sort of canon. That doesn't mean elements are limited to only the anime though, some settings and groups from the manga may be hinted at or included. However, this RP's story will have little to no ties with any of the plot elements or events of the anime or manga. It is meant to be it's own original venture in the universe with unique characters and events, so it will not feature any canon characters.

Staring down the bush with narrowed eyes of caution and legs spread out, Devon blinked at the tiny Electric-type that emerged. A Shinx?...It doesn't look too good.

As the two other younger Trainer's discussed the newcomer, the teenager stood by to inspect the little blue lion a bit. When Lily crouched down and attempted to calm the scared cat, Devon nodded at his Zoroark. "We know Fuzzy. We'll be fine." Smirking, he slowly walked up next to the kind girl and dug around in his bag, before crouching down to offer an orange spray bottle to Lily. "Use this on em. And if he's too freaked out by human stuff, I got some berries we could give em."

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Ninian
A light smile swept over Raiden's maw as the Gardevoir gave her reply, a hand coming up to scratch at the side of his scarred chin. "Yes, I was. The Guildmaster wouldn't let me leave when I tried to walk out after dinner was done. I slept fine, just not very much. A dream kept me up."

The news seemed to steal away the happiness from the Feraligatr's features as he sighed, shaking his head as he took a seat and laced his fingers. Putting his hands under his chin, he closed his eyes. "There's nothing you need to apologize for Pyrrha. The safety of you and the rest of your friends is much more important to me than few missed shows."

Lifting his lids and gazing across the room at the Fairy with clouded orange eyes, he lowered his hands. "The best thing you can do now is to just prepare for whatever challenge is ahead, and enjoy the time you have before that challenge comes. Worrying about it won't help."

Reaching behind him to fumble around in his large satchel bag, the Feraligatr soon pulled out a long, capped wood tube and held it up. "Do you want any tea? I bought some from the drink stand in the square earlier."

Devon the Totodile and Brick the Poliwrath
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian
The rather vague and depressing answer given by Lilisette made the Totodile's maw dip into a frown as he stood back up along with her. Lilisette...

Taking a peak into the bag, Devon reached in to grab two of the Big Apples and move them to his own satchel. "I'll just take half of the Big Apples since they're sort of heavy." Looking down at the Oran berries and Blast Seed offered, the Water-type smiled and grabbed one of the berries. "Thanks Selena." When he was offered the small bag of blue gummy candy, he looked them over curiously for a moment before dropping them into his pack too. "Thank you I'll uh...Try those later. Are you sure you're ok?"

Then, Ember finally brought up the question that the young Water-type had been expecting. Wincing slightly, his brown eyes flicked to the blue Kirlia. "You can probably tell them now. They're your friends too."
