Lifetaker is just overkill, Sol is more than enough to keep a unit alive.
Just so you know, you will receive a heavy PExp penalty for surrendering, just as Freeshooter did. If you stick it out, you'll earn a much more fair amount of experience even if you are defeated. This also applies to how much gold you'll earn.

Yes it is, I just need to add those units to your army sheet, which I will do tomorrow since it is 10:37pm here and i have to get up at 6:30am tomorrow for school.

Same. Although I have the craziest forged weapon. It's a goddamn modded Hector's axe that basically one shots everything when combined with my avatar's capped strength in the warrior class.
I use a forged Aversa's Night to nosTank like a boss. my skill set is Armsthrift, Pavise, Aegis, Sol and Tomefaire. that avatar cant die, in fact he ends every engagement with full health
Yeah Armsthrift is an awesome skill. In FE13 my avatar has it and with a luck stat of 49 he has 2% chance to consume weapon durability on it.
