@6slyboy6 Does the Empire have some sort of intelligence bureau, or perhaps internal security? I kind of want to place my character in there of course if you don't mind, I also need a lot of info about the empire since my faction is based from within the empire which will eventually turn into its own entity. Mostly what I need is Motive for Humans to want to secede from the Empire, has the Empire ever done anything in a particular situation which have hurt a major population of Humans on purpose?
@Superman
It's fine, I kept in mind it's just RP. My character would probably get the hint that you're formally military though, due to the way you carry yourself.

EDIT: Speaking of, I might be able to post my reaction tomorrow I'm having trouble wording a few things since I'm a bit exhuasted but I'll definitely post tomorrow. (Timezone Difference: I live in the Philippines)
I technically guessed that from the get-go haha.
^This seems like the perfect moment for me to respond... *Starts writing*
@superman @letmedostuff I can almost see how this is going to play out in my head >XD This is getting real interesting I'm looking forward to the rest of this RP.
@Superman I feel like a quick response since Utah has some experience being a soldier too but eh I just posted, I'll wait for the others heh.
Utah was going to carry the conversation with California, but before she could continue her introduction, she was interrupted by the Director’s announcement. She made her way towards the briefing room only to find it full of Freelancers. Glancing around the room, she scanned the other Freelancers and their armor, while the words of the Director rang out throughout the place. They were easy to understand and fairly simple, and the objectives were pretty straightforward. She looked at Washington stride to the front and deliver his announcement of leadership.

Utah wasn’t one to question authority, but she rolled her eyes at Washington, someone who couldn’t even keep up with the training bots back in the sim. He was reckless and stubborn. She questioned his leadership ability but in the end the plan sounded good, furthermore, she didn’t care too much about her having a partner. Her only concern was the means of distraction, which, if too heavy was sure to bring all manner of hell upon them, and if it was too light it wouldn’t bring much attention either.

She looked at the rest of her teammates and suddenly it dawned on her. These people weren’t ODST, these people weren’t even professional soldiers; she didn’t know whether they were the “crème de la crème” or some bums the Freelancer program picked up. Suddenly, her concerns became broader :what if the other Freelancers fail? What if her partner wasn’t up to scratch? What if-

Her thoughts were cut short as Iowa started up some commotion about Washington being the oh-so-glorified leader. She didn’t know this was her partner, all she knew was that this was the agent that was mumbling to himself leaving the training area. She wondered why he was so adamant with knowing who they were going to fight, wasn’t this team just a ragtag bunch of people sent to do missions without any raised questions?

@nytefall

“Hey Washington,” Utah began. “What’s our plan B when things go wrong? I mean, I know we’re all “badasses” at what we do, but I think some of us are familiar with what happens when you get your dick all caught up. That’s a lot of responsibility and money.”

she delivered the cringy contraceptive joke with the tone of mocking sarcasm right after Iowa gave Washington the affectionate nickname washing machine.
So the RP is postponed?
@goldeagle1221 Speaking of, I could try and get more people in here I know a few people that might want to join... No guarantees though.
@6slyboy6
Here's my concept I wanted to base my Human faction from the events of Code Geass but a little more realistic, a small part of the Empire that wants to secede that would eventually garner support from either other people who share their views within the Empire or support from outside the Empire. They would start out small with rebel raids being conducted on military targets with long pauses from their aggression stealing weapons and equipment, resorting to either hiding in plain sight or disappearing from public view without a trace, their tactics would be underhand and subtle and when they would appear in public events it would be almost theatrical whilst still having a practical goal in mind.

Their first goal is to break away from the Empire becoming their own entity, with their own ideology.

Their second goal is defending their newly formed nation.

Their third goal is to stabilize the nations government and economy.

Another concept is that they've already decided to go into full scale conflict with the empire involving a few worlds, hitting supply routes, military installations, stealing ships, and other actions that they would deem necessary to complete their goal of ridding the galaxy of the oppressive rule of the Empire, these would be humans that are sympathetic to the cause of Xenos and would be more inclined to aid the destruction of the empire through any means necessary.

So there are the two concepts I've thought of, one being largely passive-aggressive, and the other being actively aggressive. Tell me what you think.
