The Arena Inbetween-Now Open!

Cosmos led them to their rooms, each one had a special name plate on it with their names written on it.

"If you want, you are allowed to roam the halls of the Arena, explore a little." She said. "I have other duties to attend to but..." As she spoke the words, a small slight moth shining emerald floated towards them, and landed gently on Cosmos' shoulder. "If you ever need anything, Charlotte can get it for you immediately. Simply ask her for anything, and it shall appear."
Cosmos nodded to the both of them in turn, and then walked off to prepare for the first event.

Cinema General

you know since everyone is talking about Bird Box, me and my family watched it together, and it had some enjoyable parts to it, like the acting is really nice, Sandra Bullock does a nice job here. I don't have a whole lot of complaints, I know people are bitching about the "Rules" of the monsters but i honestly didn't care about all of that? Like sometimes it just kind of feels like people go into movies with the express purpose of finding the things that they know they won't like, and not watching the movie for the positive aspects to it.

Bird Box wasn't like complete trash in my opinion like other people online are saying, but it wasn't the best movie i had ever seen. Like I enjoyed Wreck It Ralph two more, and that's not an insult I think both of these films are good, I just enjoyed one more than the other, and just because a movie is made for kids doesn't make it inferior or any less significant in the world of cinema. So please don't @ me with the "But Wreck It Ralph is a kids film". I liked the mystery of the monsters and how we never got to see them. It was just like your brain was making the horror for you or something, idk how to explain it better than that.

i wasn't all that scared, but the story was interesting.

What alien race would you be?

I'd want to be a troll from homestuck, or an Altean from voltron because they have cool magick powers and pretty hair.

but wouldn't reading literally every single post ever made take a long time...? And what about people who join kind of late? Like lets say the game has been up and running for a few months, will people have to read every single post up till then in order to participate? While I appreciate the need for realism that seems a little excessive don't ya think?

What do you want out of the PW?

im still fairly new to the site, but the persistent world alwasy interested me because I don't think I had ever done something quite like it before. And even though I've don't know a whole lot about star wars, I still kind of wanna give it a go because it seems fun, and everyone else seems like they're generally excited for it.

There aren't a whole lot of mean people on this site, and believe it or not I actually don't spend a lot of time interacting in Roleplays with other people's players, it's kind of weird. I run a story on the Create A Superhero roleplay, and while I'm having a blast with it, I kind of just wished that I had made time for a collad arc of some kind or something, but I never got around to it.

The persistent world, especially in regards to Star Wars, seems like it'll be loads of fun, and a great chance to interact with lots of other players. And who knows maybe I'll learn a thing or two about Star Wars along the way?

Cosmos blinked at their nonchalant attitude. "Um...Yes. Follow me, once you have settled into your dorms, Miss Leila will call you into the Dining pavillion for dinner, if you are hungry." She turned around to face the door, opened it, and led them all to the West Wing of the Arena. As she walked, Cosmos suddenly remembered an important detail about the Arena.

"Um! This week, the Staff will be celebrating Christmas. So...Merry Christmas." She nodded to both of them. She hoped they liked the decorations, she worked hard on the wreaths. Though the abstract santa claus art that Eris had made was a bit distracting.
