Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*
@ShwiggityShwah Regarding the whole pantheon situation, is it still possible for those who want to take the mantle of a certain mythology to mold it into whatever vision a player wants? Like I want to make some changes regarding the Norse Mythos to fit my character. What do you say?
Calistrophus is a scaly draconian standing at a tall 6'1", which is around average height for his race. He has dark yellow skin and a light peach-tan underbelly, has golden yellow eyes, and displays large spiny brown horns curling from the back of his head. His white bushy facial hair stems from large eyebrows and has a long beard that spikes at the tip, with white mustache wisps descending from directly underneath his nostrils. He also sports black claw tips from his hands and feet, and has a muscular tail with small spikes running down it.
As a sage for his village, Calistrophus is usually seen donning a traditional religious robe. It's predominantly tan, with yellow stripes, and has a dark brown undergarment underneath. It also dons green shoulder pads with small knots running down it. Some of the flaps that flow down the robe are engraved in Draconian calligraphy, which basically mention several philosophical quotes from other philosophers and religious monks. The robe also has a belt that wraps around his mid-section, which holds several compartments to store small items such as books, potions, scrolls, and other misc. His sword, "Kurogica" ("Balance" in his language), is extremely long, nearly as tall as himself, with a black blade that's inscripted with draconian lettering that glows a different color depending on the element he utilizes it with. It looks and acts much like an armorslayer sword, although the tip can open and close upon the user's wishes.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Calistrophus Draconius, or Callus for short, was born in an ancient underground draconian village deep within the remote northern mountains of China. This village had already existed for thousands of years, to the point where it's been rumored that they've seen the rise and fall of the first Chinese Dynasties. They never expanded into creating a larger civilization, knowing full well how the human race dominated the Earth. Only four other separate villages have ever been founded, with each not more than 10 miles away from one another. Further conflict with the humans will bring the Draconian tribes to ruin and so they hid within small villages far away from human activity. Yet they've rarely been seen by human outsiders, through occasional conflicts through sheer coincidence and luck. Only legends and rumors had been spread about the draconian people through the centuries, claiming that these lizard-like humanoids having access to magical supernatural powers.
And how right they were.
Callus was born into a line of sages, those who wield extreme amounts of magic and were lore keepers of the world. His family was the last of its kind. An average draconian can live up 200 years at most, living nearly double or even triple the lifespan of an average human being, in which many have seen a lot happen in their life time. He was born around the declining years of the Qing Dynasty, yet already did his parents have big plans for him. The local fortune teller of their village foretold of a time where they would become extinct, long forgotten as humans would expand and eventually find their village within the next few centuries. What would come next was unknown, yet knowing how the humans behaved, the fortune teller believed for the worst.
Yet they wanted to pass their knowledge and legacy towards a single individual, one prophesied to keep their traditions alive through their magic. As long as their practices, their magic, and ultimately their ideals lived on, they would survive in memory within their followers for generations after the Draconians die. And so, blessed and destined for good will, Callus was entitled very early on as the "Great Sage of Draconianism". In order to prepare him for this role, Callus was not only taught by his parents, but was also sent to the finest teachers of the other villages to reinforce on their beliefs to him. Each presented him a different way to channel his key, with each village being able to manifest their own ki into an element. These elements were fire, water, earth, air, light, and darkness.
After decades of training and meditation with these teachers, by the age of 50, Callus was ready to officially don the prophecy's title and to carry the legacy of "Draconianism". On that day a major ceremony was held in Callus' honor, as everyone from the surrounding villages came to bless him on his journey, and gave him the legendary Sword Of Sages, or what they call "Kurogica", or "Balance" in Draconian tongue. He was to travel the world in search for additional guidance and to form a school to keep the spirit of "Draconianism" alive. Yet the sage must never again return to any of the villages, as they feared he could be secretly followed by nefarious humans wanting to cause them ruin and spread the word on their existence. And with that, Callus left the village of his birth, never to return, as a "nomad".
Through his travels, he has seen much at what the world had to offer. At first, he kept his identity rather secret and usually came into sparse towns or villages. He eventually made his home near the Himalayan Mountains in Tibet, where he sought to practice his arts once more before becoming comfortable in becoming a teacher. But of course, the humans were soon to catch that he was certainly not a man. They began nicknaming him as a "lizardman", and some were curious as to who he was. Eventually, Callus was discovered by Tibetan monks, who recognized his Ki powers and began to worship him. In fact, they became the first students under the Draconian and eventually Callus' school became a reality. As of now, he had been training disciples for nearly sixty years, and has became a local icon for Ki users who come to Tibet.
FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES
FIGHTING STYLE
Calistrophus' fighting style is essentially a mix of several martial arts techniques. Hand-to-hand, he often utilizes a form that combines Taekwondo, aikido, and jujutsu, while uses primarily Kendo when wielding his sword, along with other sword-based training. When fighting weaponless, he can change stances accordingly depending on the opponent he faces. His long limbs, thanks to his height, already make it fairly easy to hit opponents from a distance, much like an "out-boxer" does in boxing. He's usually calm in combat, and is nearly on the defensive in most cases. He observes the movement his opponent uses and attempts to fight against that style in which he thinks is the best counter to that movement. He attempts to tire out his opponent or bring him to a point where they think they'll win, only to suddenly go on an all-out offensive just when they least expect it. In short, Calistrophus is primarily a defensive fighter, only going for a quick burst on the offensive when the opponent's guard is down.
The same can be said when wielding the sword, its range being more than capable of hitting someone from a good distance. However, Calistrophus uses the sword also as a tool, such as vaulting off from it, using it as a make-shift shield, and of course to utilize his ki into elemental forms which it can wield.
There are six elements that are at his disposal. You have the four basic elements, fire, water, earth, and air, but also aether and void (which are essentially light and dark) which are used for ultimate attacks. Earth is Callus' primary element, yet fire, water, and air give him a different boost in buffs, but at the cost of lowering another buff.
Fire boosts his attack power, but lowers his defense. Water boosts his defense power, but lowers his movement speed on land (unless he's in a body of water in which it actually implies the opposite). Air boosts his speed and agility, but lowers his attack power. Earth is neutral, for it's easily accessible as long as their's actual ground, and balances out both attack, defense, and speed. Wood and Metal are also essentially neutral, for they cannot be artificially created, but they can be manipulated from the environment defensively such as in creating walls and being used as projectiles. However, they can only be manipulated when using the Earth element.
Callus can switch elements through "Combat Meditation", where he communicates with the surrounding environment at hand. For example, if he's in a rainy environment or near a body of water, he can focus on that element and change into the water element. If he's in a hot and sunny environment, or near an area that produces a strong force of heat, say a raging fire or volcano, he can change into the fire element. And if he's in an environment that produces strong currents of air, he can change into the air element. It all depends on what's around him. He is also capable of switching when nearby users that wield these elements are near, although he'd have to trick opponents to forcibly use these abilities first before attempting to switch to said desired type (i.e: fire type user igniting a large puddle of oil).
However, these elements are strong and weak against one another, so if an opponent uses something like water when Calistrophus is using fire, the latter's attack become far less effective due to fire being weak to water.
Light and dark must always be kept at a balance, each being able to be beaten if too much overwhelms one side. Light can created through a combination of all four elements through peace and harmony, while rage and chaos being the thing for darkness. Light is a defensive healing type, while darkness is an aggressive fighting type. Too much usage in darkness can blind the user and potentially can turn the user evil. Darkness should only be used in the most dire situations and only in very limited amounts at a time.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ [Battle Meditation]
Through calm concentration, the user can "communicate" with the surrounding environment and tap into the Xu-Wing elemental table. Depending on the element and the temperature that's most predominant in said area, the user is then capable of switching elements to match the environment he/she is in. For example, in hot environments the user is most likely capable of switching to the fire-based element. If near bodies of water, or if it's raining, the user is most likely capable of switching to the water-based element. If there's heavy winds, or if any wind is present in a location, the more likely the user can switch into the air element. And if there's dirt or any form of physical ground, the user can switch to the Earth element. This takes some time for it to truly take effect, so concentration is key for it to work successfully, even when in battle. This can also work if a user wielding any of these elements are also nearby.
■ [Xu-Wing Slash]
An offensive slash that changes to fit what element the user is utilizing at the moment.
Fire allows the user to send a wave of fire wave of fire towards his opponent. It goes quickly in the direction of the swipe and upon impact can cause severe fire damage if it hits an opponent. It can travel for very short distances in water before it extinguishes.
Water causes the blade's edge to become enveloped in high pressure streams of water. This makes a blade capable of breaking through rock and dirt at such pressures and can easily detach organic limbs on contract.
Air allows the user to produce a gust of wind that can knock back opponents and break through wooden walls with a single sword swing.
Earth has the user simply strike the ground hard with his sword and issues a small earthquake to stun and/or throw the opponent off. The shaking only lasts a second or two, but its strong force still can tip unbalanced opponents off. It also produces a small shockwave that can knock opponents within 2 meters off the ground, however any farther and it doesn't effect the opponent.
■ [Xu-Wing Wall]
A defensive ability that allows the user to create a wall of the element the user is utilizing at the moment.
Fire allows the user to erect a wall of swirling fire. It causes fire damage to anyone who touches it.
Water allows the user can create a wall of water in front of him to slow or block incoming projectiles and as a source of water to extinguish fire. If used underwater, it has the altered effect in removing water around a certain spherical radius, providing a pocket of air in which air-breathers can breath in.
Air allows the user to create a barrier of wind that can deflect most projectile attacks. The user can also issue a strong pushing motion with its hand in order to move the wall towards the opponent, which can effectively knock back it.
Earth allows the user to erect a wall of whatever ground is available to them. It can be made of dirt, stone, wood, or even metal, each having a different quality of defense (loose dirt being the weakest and metal being the strongest)
■ [Xu-Wing Energy Bolt]
The user is capable of unleashing elemental energy bolts of whatever element the user is utilizing at the moment from its hand or sword.
Fire allows the user to unleash a bolt of fire at his opponent. This can range from small fireballs to torrents of roaring fire.
Water allows the user to issue a ball of water at his opponent, which issues a powerful knock back effect upon impacting the user. It can also allow the user to fire a water jet at the opponent, which can get to being as powerful as a water jet cutter, effectively cutting through stone and weaker metals. To get as powerful as this however, a huge water source must be present, as well as an intense amount of concentration to pull this off.
Air allows the user to issue a ball of air at his opponent, issuing a powerful knock back effect upon impacting the user. The user can fire a stream of ultra-pressured air that can push an opponent farther back.
Earth allows the user to manipulate the ground below him by throwing chunk of any element below him at his opponent through telekinesis. Through immense concentration, the user can even "liquify" the ground and unleash it at the opponent in it's static form. This also includes wood and metal respectively.
■ [Xu-Wing Breath]
The user is capable of firing a breath of whatever element the user is utilizing at the moment from its mouth.
Fire allows the user to fire a breath of super-heated plasma from its mouth, ranging from small fireballs to roaring fire torrents.
Water allows the user to fire a breath of high-pressured water from its mouth. He can also fire water steam from his mouth to be used as cover to confuse the opponent.
Air allows the user to fire a breath of high-pressured air from its mouth, blowing its opponents away.
Earth allows the user to fire a breath of liquid earth, wood, or metal from his mouth, which hardens upon impact with a physical object. Breath variants depend on whatever material is more accessible to him in said environment.
■ [Xu-Wing Infusion]
User can infuse himself or his sword in a particular way based off of the element the user is utilizing at the moment and gain a significant buff or advantage to said part.
Fire allows the user to buff its sword's blade, where it ignites to be covered in aggressive lashing flames. They can cut through most material, which even includes metal, and issues fire damage on the opponent. It only lasts several seconds in water before becoming extinguished.
Water allows the user's skin to become much more smooth, allowing the user to become more streamlined. In water, this allows the user to become a better swimmer in water, and on land he secretes a watery substance that allows him to slide almost effortlessly on the ground for faster movement.
Air allows the user to become much more light on its feet. The user is capable of jumping higher, running faster, being more agile, and drains less stamina for up to a minute.
Earth allows the user to harden his skin to protect itself from most physical blows and gives a slight added strength boost to the user for up to a minute. Fire cannot effect the user as the thicker skin is basically fire-proof. The user is slightly slower in this form as a consequence.
SUPER MOVES
■ [Concentrative Light Wave]
Then the user is at its calmest state of mind, he can gather upon all the light that is within him into his sword and unleash a powerful strike that unleashes a wave of light towards its opponent. Upon impact, the wave creates an explosion that engulfs the victim in blinding light, usually burning victims before finishing. It's most affective against those who reek of darkness and to those who are demonic (essentially to those who are evil).
■ [Forbidden Dark Slash]
When the user is in a desperate state of rage and anger, he can gather all the darkness within his soul into his sword as he unleashes a fury of dark-type strikes on his opponent. After finishing, a massive explosion occurs as it begins sucking away at the opponent's health. This dark ability is to be used cautiously, as those inexperienced are prone to be corrupted by this very move. It's most affective against angelic foes.
WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
While Calistrophus' elements give him a boost in certain stats, it also lowers a certain buff from him (as stated in his fighting style). His fire element produces more attack power, but sacrifices in defense, making him prone to get wounded easily. His water element produces more defense power, but unless he's inside a body of water, his movement speed is nerfed significantly, making him less capable of dodging attacks as frequent. And his air element produces more movement speed, but nerfs his attack power, making his attacks less affective then they usually are. Only his default element, Earth, doesn't have a significant disadvantage, but also doesn't give him an advantage in any aspect as these buffs are balanced out equally.
As also stated, his elements can also be countered by other elemental users using certain elements, as shown below (although exceptions may apply):
Wood parts Earth Earth dams Water Water extinguishes Fire Fire melts Metal Metal chops Wood Air is neutral

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
It’s the year 2649. And all is not well. The entire world is in revolution, combating against the giant mega corporations that were hellbent in gaining control of their governments for their own profit. The richer have never been as rich as they have been… and the poorer have only gotten poorer still. Corporate entities overran governments such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Egypt, China, Japan, Australia, India, and many more, becoming what’s essentially the Imperial Corporate Empire. Yet despite such a grim outlook on the world, several strong factions remained determined to fight the corporate entities and restore a new democracy to the world.
One such faction, the United Anti-Corporate Union (UACU), bounded together to create a strong army to combat these regimes. Lead by several major Russian politicians, generals, and powerful companies of their own, they received the major amount of tech and research in order to even successfully stand up against the technologically advanced civilizations, who had armies upon armies of mechs, spaceships, and other scientific horrors that were waiting to be unleashed. One of the UACU’s first major projects was to create a freedom-fighting Super-Soldier program that can take on these opponents more effectively. They gathered several willing participants, including a veteran Russian soldier named Aleksandr Maxima III.
Alek’s life was surrounded by war. His parents were part of the war effort of the local militias and resistance programs. His father was a dedicated soldier while his mother was a field medic. Both simply died on the battlefield, his father taken out by an enemy drone, and her mother taken away as a hostage to the new Gulag camps… never to be seen again. All of this happened when he was sixteen years old and he was forced to join the local Russian resistance program, being constantly on the run from the enemy, before joining the newly erected UACU. He was infused with raw ki energy, provided by a fallen nomad who volunteered to have his ki distributed by the Union upon his death. Upon receiving their newfound strength and abilities, Alek alongside the other handful of newly created super-soldiers were ready to take the fight to the Corporate Empire and bring back the democracy and wealth to the people.
In the beginning years of their debut, the S-Soldier Squad, which became known as “Phoenix Squad”, won several major victories against the Corporate Empire in the Eastern Europe region. From eliminating various secret projects, to hostage saving situations, and even fighting out on the frontlines in major battles, they became heroic icons within the European public and as elite soldiers of the UACU. Yet these series of victories seemed to quickly dissolve as an illusionary trick, as the Corporate Empire called upon the release of a secret project created by the vile Genesyn Inc 66 million years in the making…
The Saurostrains.
When these demonic dinosaur mutations were finally released into the War, the tides had turned yet again. Most of the UACU’s forces, as well as Alek’s entire squad, were savagely murdered by these newly released beasts within mere weeks of their debut. One creature in particular, named Apollyon, nearly killed Alek as he was able to gouge his right eye out with a massive claw of his. The Super Soldier only barely managed to escape the carnage with his life as he was lifted back to base to recover. During his recovery, the UACU was luckily able to get their hands on an eye enhancement implant, the "Sight Of God", that would not only reclaim Alek’s sight, but also to significantly improve and add upon the soldier’s abilities. With this new implant, Alek was ready to get back into battle…
Yet the UACU had other plans.
They were on the eve of total collapse, as the Corporate Empire was beginning to surround their collapsing base with their newfound pets. Apollyon ruthlessly revolted against Genesyn and essentially took over the corporation as the new CEO and he wasn’t going to let the last Super Soldier get away this time. It appeared as if the UACU didn’t have a future… yet they had only one hope. They ordered Alek to go back into time, where he is to locate and destroy Genesyn as a fledgling branch of Horizon Frontier, so that it can hopefully change the future of the world for the better. Whether or not it would succeed was all up to fate itself, but staying in the war-torn world wasn’t an option that Alek or the UACU were going to accept. And so, through the portal Alek went, changing the timeline the moment he entered hundreds of years back to change the fate of the world…
But while he entered that very portal… his demons followed close behind.
Now they’ve arrived in a new world several hundred years into the past… Will Aleksander be able to destroy Genesyn and hopefully restructure the timeline into a time of peace? Or will Apollyon and his demonic creatures spawn a new Empire from his remains?
FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES
FIGHTING STYLE
Alek has been trained in a Russian martial arts technique similar to Krav Maga, an Israel-based fighting system that takes elements from other martial arts such as boxing, wrestling, aikido, judo, karate, and several other close-quarter battle systems. He typically uses sheer brute force, balanced out with some tactical strategy and skill, to defeat his opponents. Within the realm of boxing, he's considered as a slugger-class, using raw power to incapacitate and even kill his opponents. However, he has no preferred form of fighting, as he usually does anything he can do to win the battle and come out alive. He’ll even play dirty by jabbing eyes and bashing groins to get through. While his armor is extremely durable, originally capable of tanking most bullet and weak-laser fire, the time travel process seemed to have weakened the armor considerably, forcing him to become more careful in combat. His boots allow him to fly and levitate for short distances and are also magnetic, allowing him to stick to most metal surfaces. He's even known to wield metal pipes or even his guns as make-shift melee weapons if need be.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ [Взгляд Бога / "Sight Of God"]
Originally technology that was developed by the Chinese in secrecy, in the future it's been stolen and replicated by other nations of the world, with Russia having developed its own version. This cybernetic eye implant was given to Alek after he lost his eye in a fight against Genesyn's vicious Saurostrains, particularly the one they call "Apollyon". This eye allows Alek to monitor the key levels in individuals, who radiate out a blue energy reading. The more ki that resonates inside the individual, the brighter the color is.
In addition, this version of the eye also provides exceptional night vision and infrared capabilities, as well as showing basic stats on its opponent, such as its health, heart-rate, and coordinates. It can also determine the possible numbers of foes situated in rooms and small buildings, and has minor targeting sensors.
■ [Режим невидимки / Stealth Mode]
While Alek's armor is already incapable of becoming picked up by radar, he can briefly camouflage with the environment around him to avoid visible detection. This isn't perfect however, as if the light shines on him the right way or if seen under a well-trained eye, he can give his position away. Those who done a similar eye to his “Sight Of God” implant is also capable of seeing him, as well as others using infrared goggles. Alek also cannot use any other ability such as shooting his gun or using any of the advanced techniques his eye can use, or else the camouflage will decay within seconds.
■ [Jet Boots]
Alek’s boots are capable of allowing him to jump higher than any human. He can jump and/or fly up to eight to ten stories in a single bounce.
■ [Grenades]
Alek has access to both regular and EMP grenades which explode upon impact. He has a very limited amount per engagement, roughly four of each in total. They can also be loaded up into his gun and fired for farther range.
■ [Ki-Transfer Attack]
Alek’s suit is capable of transferring and ultimately utilizing the ki in his body to any portion of body to deal a stronger attack. The concentrated power can become powerful enough to break through solid metal, although it tends to severely strain the body after using it, hence why it’s only used rarely or used to quickly decapacitate the opponent.
■ [Weapon Supply Drone]
Alek has access to a weapon drone that can deploy a small mobile armory in the middle of battle when called on. It has a variety of weapons and ammunition at it's disposal, as well as a few limited health packs, and can even scour the battlefield to add new weapons to its ever growing armory. It can only be deployed three times per battle before having to sit out due to energy issues. The weapon selection varies for guns including:
Pistols Shotguns Plasma Rifles Rocket Launchers Gauss Cannons Chain Gun-Turret (Final Move Only) And other weapons the drone finds on the battlefield.
SUPER MOVES
■ [Перезагрузка мини-пушки / Minigun Overload]
Alek calls for a minigun-turret and opens fire on the opponent for ten long seconds before the weapon cools down. User is defended by a bubble shield within the time frame.
■ [Ракетный Удар / Rocket Strike]
Alek diverts his available ki into his fist of choice, rocketing towards its opponent at incredible speeds. Such a force usually knocks out opponents, knocks them back several meters, or knocks them high into the air if it's a jab. If it hits their stomach, it causes many to throw up, with this technique being called the “Гут Бастер” or “Gut Buster”.
■ [Гнев медведя / Wrath of the Bear]
As a last ditch effort, Alek's adrenaline and ki spike as he becomes enraged in a wrathful fury, his artificial eye turning a bright crimson red in this form. His strength and speed spike drastically as he attempts to rip-apart his enemy with his bare hands. He does not feel pain in this mode, as pain inhibitors let him cut loose in battle. He signature finishing move is to grip his opponent in a powerful bearhug and squeezes the opponent to the point where his ribs and organs burst and in some cases come straight out of the victim's mouth. When this mode finishes, he will begin to feel the pain he gained during the battle, which if the wounds are severe, can prove fatal to him. He can still be killed instantaneously if his head is shot. It can last up to a minute.
WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
Alek’s armor is rather bulky and lacks a little behind in agility.
While his armor is still incredibly durable, it does weaken overtime through battle as it isn't working at maximum level due to the time warp incident. His armor is strongest during the beginning portion of the battle, but overtime it begins to loose the enhanced protection overtime, making it prone to damage.
His face is the only part of Alek's body that isn't always covered in armor, making it a great target for long-range snipers and fast-footed opponents.

Akhlut is a huge orca hybrid, standing at slightly over eight feet at the tip of his dorsal fin and weighs in at nearly 550 lbs. He sports the traditional colors of a regular killer whale, with black and white being his predominant colors. His massive mouth is lined with two rows of sharp, blunt teeth, perfectly suited in biting down prey and even in piercing metal hides. Two pectoral fins jettison behind his jaws, a callback to his cetacean origins, and while functional underwater they are useless on land. To replace them, he has two muscular arms with five thick fingers that are more than capable in strangling anyone he can get his hands on. Two pairs of spiked shoulder and wrist pads provide minimal defense against other opponents. He also sports a tail fluke. His regular clothing are made from brown leather - those being his jacket, tunic, and boots.
In his beast form, Akhlut resembles an Orca-Wolf-Wyvern hybrid, standing at a height of twelve feet (at the tip of his fin). He earns a hide made of sleek scales, producing a water-tight seal that makes him not only more durable, but still allowing him to be incredibly mobile in the water. His arms become longer, ending with a sharp "wing" that also connects to his back leg. Shoulder spikes flank his dorsal fin and his tail becomes more shark-like, looking more like a deadly axe.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Legends say, that long ago in a seaside village now known as Nuuk, Greenland, there was a man named Toklo. A middle-aged and grizzly figure, sporting a bushy beard and long smooth hair, he was a local fisherman for his village. Every few days he’d go out on his large canoe and capture fish for his people, often supplying a weeks-worth per catch. Having worn the mantle for nearly forty years, he was once considered as one of the best fisherman in the region, able to identify nearly every kind of fish or marine mammal and knowing each and every spot where said creatures usually congregate. He’s even known to capture seals all on his lonesome and legends say that he and his friend had killed an angry orca that threatened to turn over his boat. In short, he was a highly respected hunter, with some claiming he’s the son of a god.
Yet as one of the greatest fishermen in his region, Toklo doesn’t simply see the ocean as a simply a place to hunt for food. And not only does he enjoy in meeting the ocean every so often, he obsesses over it. This became more and more prominent the older he became, even to the point where he visits the ocean every single day, no matter his condition. He often finds himself out at sea during his hunts for days at a time, relying simply on the fish at sea to nourish his human needs. It also wouldn’t be uncommon to see him swim in the frigid waters either, usually for several hours, and miraculously not receive any frostbite. Toklo has claimed that he had always felt out of place on land and desired to be one with the ocean. Initially his remarks weren’t taken as seriously, at first minding it as childish aspiration before considering it as a means to express his passion for fishing. But when his days out at sea began worrying the villagers, both on the possibility of losing their champion and the fact that they will reach starvation, it finally became clear to them that he quite literally meant it. He was spending more time wading with the fish, then using them to help his people.
The villagers eventually concluded that Toklo became mentally unstable and ultimately banned him from their village entirely. So when he found out day later after the banning, the fisherman was utterly devastated. Casted out from his own village after being proclaimed as a hero and champion, he was forced to travel the icy tundra in search for a new place to call home. During his travels, he encounters a pack of arctic wolves and, through unknown reasons, decides to join them. Of course, Toklo was immediately rejected and nearly mauled to death as he attempted to run away into the hills. However, before he would become food to the pack, the fight was interfered by an evil earth spirit, Amarok, who took the form of a gigantic black wolf and scared off the pack just by his sheer presence alone. Having sensed the human's vengeance against mankind, the wolf decided to make the fisherman a wolf himself, only after having Tolko to become his servant and to do his bidding in exchange. Tolko, now a black and white wolf, agreed reluctantly as he forced himself to join under Amarok’s guidance.
Yet after serving the spirit for only a week, does Tolko still wish to remain in the sea. Now that he feels that he has been ensured to never set foot in an inuit village again, he vows for the perfect opportunity to head back into the affection of the ocean he has loved for all these years. So when Keelut ordered Tolko to ravage a seaside village, the rebellious wolf ran away after descending deep into the village. Now free from Amarok’s grasp, Tolko descends deeper and deeper into the depths below, ready to become one with the ocean.
Yet his duty on Earth wasn’t complete. As the spirit gatherer of the dead Anguta was about to take his soul to the underworld, he too was intercepted by another spirit. Agloolik, an evil spirit of the ocean, sensed Tolko’s distress and inspected his condition. Recognizing him as the prior legendary fisherman everyone was talking about, the spirit offered him another chance to redeem himself by placing him back in his human body. Tolko disagreed full-heartedly, insisting to the spirit to give him the body of that of an orca and to earn a body that will grant him revenge against the people who banned him from the village. Agloolik granted his wish, morphing his body into what many call a cross between a wolf, an orca, and a wyvern. Thus Tolko was no more, for he is now known as...
Akhlut.
For centuries afterwards as he terrorized the inuit people around Greenland and the nearby islands and coastal regions of Canada, destroying their villages and eating their fish and livestock. No one was able to stop him and the gods didn’t help for unknown reasons. Yes once they were able to trap Akhlut briefly in a glacier, various villages were destroyed by the malevolent beast, including Nuuk itself. Yet despite his absence, the inuit passed down their experiences to their descendents, eventually sparking great legends and nightmares for centuries to come.
Fast forward to the present day… Akhlut has freed himself from his icy prison and found himself in a strange new world that felt quite alien to him. His new default body is an orca-human hybrid, secretly provided by Agloolik during his frozen slumber in preparations for his revival, provided an easier body for him to move around in the urban jungles that littered nearly the entire Earth. The creature's spark for revenge against humanity has since vanished, yet it doesn’t mean he’s on the side for good. Attempting to blend in with his environment, he decided to work as a traveling mercenary-for-hire, joining anyone just to retrieve a sense of newfound purpose and to make a good profit or so. However, despite having to adapt to his new life, never does the thought of the ocean leave his mind in one form or another. And so once every often, when he doesn’t have a day that’s booked, he takes a nice refreshing dip into the nearest body of water and remembers the life back before his transformation.
FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES
FIGHTING STYLE
Akhlut is a heavy-duty brawler, using his extreme strength to utterly demolish his opponent and his thick blubbery hide to take quite a beating. Yet he is no slugger, as he often produces unpredictable movements in combat to throw his opponent off. He's also no stranger to fighting dirty, or virtually with anything he can get his hands on. He's also surprisingly fast and agile, allowing to leap high distances to keep up with his opponent and dodge any incoming fire. While preferring to combat his opponent with his bare hands, he is also quite proficient in using heavy weaponry, like rocket launchers and mini-guns.
Akhlut also uses echolocation to search for his opponent when he's unable to see them. This is extremely useful when navigating in a pitch-black environment, or when he's underwater. Speaking of underwater, it can come as no surprise that he's extremely fast when swimming under the waves, using his tail and pectoral fins to move freely in the water.
Akhlut’s beast form is much more brutal and savage, as he strives to put his opponent down in a fit of raw strength and wrathful intent. He'll do whatever means necessary within the amount of time he has in order to decimate his rivals.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ [Heavy Punch]
Akhlut charges strength into his fist of choice and unleashes it on his opponent's face. It's even strong enough to dent metal.
■ [Seismic Sock]
Akhlut stomps the ground, unleashing a miniature earthquake that stuns any opponent on the ground for a short moment.
■ [Armor-Piercing Bite]
Akhlut can bite down on his item of choice with all of his strength, being capable of ripping metal limbs and armor plating.
■ [Blow-Blast]
Akhlut can unleash a blast of high-pressured water or air and unleash it on his opponent. Water can pierce through metal, while air can knock a person back several meters.
■ [Echolocation]
Akhlut is capable of using echolocation just like regular whales can, using it to search his surroundings in total darkness or underwater. It's also used as sonar to detect any nearby opponents.
■ [Sonic Clicks]
Akhlut is capable of unleashing powerful sound clicks from his mouth at near rapid-succession. It's loud enough to be able to burst eardrums or increase the body temperature inside an organic opponent if it's concentrated on the opponent for long enough.
SUPER MOVES
■ [Charge Burst]
Akhlut charges at his opponent at great speed, threatening to slam into his opponent like an incoming freight train. This move can also be issued underwater for a greater effect.
■ [Geyser Bust]
A stronger version of Blow-Blast, Akhlut can charge up and unleash a more powerful version of said attack, both at greater width and destructive power.
■ [Beast Form]
Though rage of adrenaline and fury, Akhlut is capable of transforming into a giant orca-wolf-wyvern hybrid. In this version, he's more powerful and agile, while also being capable of unleashing large high-pressured water beams from his mouth. He's also much more adapted to swimming in this form, going at incredible speeds to run down his prey. His tail can also be used as a weapon and he can climb on walls.
WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
Akhlut is one big mass of aggression and anger. He puts up a very heavy offense and while his blubbery mass provides him with natural armor, his only defense is by ruthlessly attacking his opponent. A clever opponent is capable of outsmarting him through misdirection and by outmaneuvering the big lug.
The orca-hybrid often has a hard time taking things that are stuck in his blowhole. That means, if something blocks the passage, the creature's Blow-Blast and Geyser Burst abilities will be temporarily compromised. It's also a location where he can breathe so taking it out limits him in breathing from his mouth.
Speaking of his mouth, one well-placed grenade or beam inside Akhlut’s mouth can cause serious harm if exploited correctly.
OTHER
Akhult's blubber allows him to keep himself warm in cold environments.
Funny I just so happen to be in a steampunk-esque RP at the moment, but its nothing like the one I'm in. Consider me interested, I'd like to see where this goes.
And I may already have a few ideas in mind...
Edit: Considering on making a character and faction based on Norse mythology, although for those wondering Thor will not be my main character.
As most of the crew continue to lay waste to their problems by chugging booze down their swollen gullets, one boy in particular was huddled in a separate little workshop tinkering with a SA "Liberty" Rifle on a messy desk of metallic gadgets and blueprints. Ezekiel never really was much of a social person, nor does he often start up conversations that much. But while he lacks in vocalizing himself, what he loves doing is simply being alone and working on his newest device to help himself or his guild out. It's the least he can do. And being cozied alone inside his warm workspace while a storm rages outside is, to him, a rather relaxing feeling. He can be completely immersed in his projects and work in peace.
Yet while enjoying the feeling of curled up underneath a raging storm, there's also the sense of cabin fever that occasionally sets in. There are times where Ezekiel happens to get bored working on a certain gadget of his or has a kind of creative-block that prevents him from purposely becoming engaged with his work. While these hindrances are rare for the tinkerer, even he is susceptible to this boredom. His foot taps rapidly on the wooden floor, creaking quietly, while he rubs his face with a seemingly defeated sigh. To him, he needs to keep his mind constantly working on something, no matter what it can be, or he often gets restless. Really it can be anything in particular, as long as its mechanical.
And with this storm getting worse by the minute, it wouldn't hurt to check for something to improve or repair.
Even the noise coming down from the barracks was already seeping into his area, causing his wince to continue contorting into an annoyed expression. He needs to get out of this place and do something. With that, he exits the workshop and bypasses the barracks where the festivities are being held. He never really liked parties to begin with. Only as soon as he got to the roofed portions of the top deck did the sound drown out in the chaotic pattering of the storm outside. Even though the storm was loud enough as is, the wind pushing against him violently as he grips onto the nearby railing, it's at least naturally bearable to a certain extent. He begins to huddle towards the wall of the ship, gripping against the handles as he tries to not get blown away by the intense wind and shattering hail.
Maybe there's someone out here who could use some quick help with something...
Appearance: Clocking in at around 5'5", Servus may not seem to be the most imposing figure on the block, but he has an inner fire that he can lash out at a moment's notice. He wears a traditional outfit from the sandy dunes of Jehanna, with dark brown body armor, a rusty-red scarf, two thick leather gauntlets, and a white turban cloak to protect himself from various elements. Underneath all that clothing, Servus is a pale figure with some minor scarring on his back and chest regions. He sports a unique set of orangish-brown eyes and hazelnut hair.
Apparent Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male
Nation: Jehanna "Sky Guild" ---> Rogue
Class: Wyvern Rider
Weapon Mastery: Axe D
Level: 6
Background: Servus was a troubled kid raised in the slums of Jehanna. His family was treading along the dangerous border of poverty and they were struggling not only to keep their home, but just simply to survive. His mother was a soft-spoken lady, who may or may not have been an infamous robber who often calculated great strategies to steal from the rich, while the father was a vulgar drunken blacksmith who often cussed his son out for making even the simplest of mistakes. His household was overall a toxic wasteland and he was constantly exposed to screaming matches and the sounds of platter breaking on the floor. As a result, Servus was often away from the chaos inside his home and exploring the vast desert for a possible purpose he may have in life, only forced to return before twilight.
One day, while six year old Servus was exploring a hidden oasis several miles south of the village, he encountered a strange colorful egg buried in the sand. As he began to inspect the ovular vessel, the egg hatched, and out popped a unique wyvern covered in feathers and sported a yellow beak with a black tip. Having always wanted a pet, yet forbidden by his parents, he secretly kept the wyvern he called Amboli in an abandoned warehouse nearby and took care of him there. The wyvern was safe from the potential wrath of Servus' family, but as the years passed rumors began to circulate about the creature's existence. Not only did the boy find a wyvern, but he found what's said to be the rarest type of wyvern in the region of Jehanna, known as a Griffern. These wyverns were the basis of the mythological griffin told in legends, although they are simply a unique breed of their species with avian traits - hence their name. Due to this myth, they were nearly hunted to extinction for their feathers used in pens and their sharp scales being utilized in elite armor. Yet some had been rumored to fly across the land in the cover of darkness, although never proven...
Eventually, five years later, an unknown dark guild took interest in capturing the wyvern for themselves, having studied Servus' movement along with the occasional scratching from within the warehouse. However, as the assassins began to enter, they boy just happened to be returning to the warehouse with food and water for Amboli. As they attempted to shut Servus up, the adolescent wyvern heard the commotion outside and bursted through the wooden walls and scared the assassins off. Yet at the same time he was finally revealed in the grand glory of the public. No longer was he a rumor and no longer will he be able to hide. The entire village was soon told about his confirmed existence and many wanted the wyvern dead as they feared Amboli was a potential threat that could destroy the village. Both the wyvern and Servus were in deep trouble.
Yet fate was kind to give them a second chance at life. The Sky Guild noticed the heightening tensions and came to intervene, with Aderyn eventually granting Servus the opportunity to join her guild as a Wyvern Rider. Servus was intially very skeptical about whether they would treat his partner well, but he eventually was convinced enough and agreed to join the guild, already starting a new life with a seemingly meaningful purpose.
While gaining himself a respectful name for himself within the guild, by the age of sixteen years, Servus seemed to have enough of serving the guild. He felt like it limited him too much in his capabilities in exploring the vast world that was around him and that he wished to leave the toxic past of his old life buried in the sands. It was then when he turned rogue, for he one day took his wyvern and flew away from the realm, never once having turned back to cash his final farewell. He eventually began to settle in the realm of Grado, although he never considered working for their military or Wyvern-back squads. For several years did he live peacefully within the realm's boarders...
Only to have that peace shattered as his past came crashing down on his head... literally and figuratively speaking.
Pure Water - Increases its user's Resistance by 7. (Effect decreases by 1 each turn)
Personality: Servus is a quiet yet cynically rebellious rogue that seems to care little for anything outside his beloved wyvern, Amboli. Having lived in near-poverty conditions through his early youth, he had to do everything to survive against the elements, as well as the enemies which sought to hurt him and his winged partner. He is very protective of Amboli, treasuring him due to his species' rarity with an unbreakable bond, and makes sure he's always happy and well fed. If anyone gets between him and his mount, Servus will not hesitate to protect him by any means necessary. He's also a perfectionist, always trying his best to improve on his abilities and doesn't take average as good enough.
Ability Assessment: Servus, on his mount, is a formidable opponent in the skies. Their blows can hit the enemy hard and quickly pull back before the opponents know what hit them. While they can issue heavy damage, Servus often plans out his attack strategy from afar, picking out the weakest points in the enemy's defenses, and using that knowledge to his advantage. In short, he's an expert at hit-n-run tactics, rarely rushing head-first into battle unless there's no other option.
Of course, all of this is for good reason. Like all flying mounts, Servus and Amboli are extremely vulnerable to archers and magic in general. His heavy self-criticism doesn't help him either, as for thirst for perfection often has him disappointed in his abilities, sometimes making him vulnerable to attack as he reflects on the current situation. If he believes a situation is too tough to handle, he'll have no shame in retreating to try and grab a better view of the enemy or, in some cases, flee the battlefield entirely. He says that he doesn't call himself a coward by doing this, as he's trying to inspect the opposing forces from afar, but many say otherwise.
+ Def - Res
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other:
He can communicate and understand his mount.
Loves to go bird watching on his free time.

R-button Summarization: Abandoned his home as a rogue mercenary. Adores his rare wyvern, Amboli.

@PlatinumSkink Hmmm... I’ll see if I can make another character. If I make something better, I can have this guy be an NPC.
I originally wanted Servus to be in Storm, but felt that the Sky Guild was more appropriate. I may have forgotten to change a section. I’ll get it changed tonight, for I have a very busy schedule ahead of me today.
@PlatinumSkink Oh yay! Thank you for letting me and my pal Crimson in!
Servus will be a character I'd like to play - although if I may ask, mind if I make a second character? Just so I can make a more original unit that doesn't double with what we already have (like now there's two wyvern riders so yeah)
@PlatinumSkink I know Griffins aren’t really a thing in the FE universe, but I wanted my character to stand out a bit more. This Wyvern won’t have any drastic changes or added abilities or whatnot.
Then again, while technically non canon, a Hinoka variant in a just recently released banner in Fire Emblem Heroes, DOES show her riding what can only be considered as a Griffin of some sort.
And yeah, prostitution. I may have went a little too edgy with that added in place. I can definitely change it.
