Silence.

Nothingness.

These were the words in which one could use to describe the, encompassment in which Arguis was brought into existence. He could feel those of unparalleled power around him. There existence was a mystery to him, despite that fact, he longed to know what they were. There power was so immense he could feel there strength in the darkness around him, as if there power was tangible.

The one named Invictus then spoke. "You are become Reality, everything that has existed, exists, or will exist." The voice filled this intangible specter with glee. An emotion the he welcomed with just as much blitheness as it gave to him. He held on to the emotion, felt it, loved it, gave it as much attention as possible, before filing it in the confines of his conscious. With this, he took shape, the intangible specter expanded, and folded back in on itself. A ball of blue light took form inside the small, black ball of darkness. It suddenly burst, and Arguis emerged, his body forming instantly as the ball of energy gave his once intangible self the ability to give himself a solid form. His form was unusual, it was simplistic, he took the form of being from the old word. Unbeknownst to Arguis, to him, his form was just who he was, he did not understand what this form represented, but he liked it, none the less. He was claded in light, black armor comprised of a chestplate, and splinted armor legs with fluted poleyns.

Self Awareness.

The ability to recognize oneself as an individual separate from the environment and other individuals. That was what Arguis felt from the moment of his godly conception. It was gift that was given to all beings, a gift that allowed him, to be him. He did understand everything that was, which was the 2 powerful figures in front of him. He understood what is, the darkness around him, himself, and the 2 beings in front of him, and his brother Vowzra. Finally, he understood what was to exist, which was his siblings, he knew what would go on after this, the formation of the universe, the wars and power struggles that could ultimately lead up to the potential death of a god. The only thing he did not understand, the one question that eluded the god of Knowledge, was the living darkness from which he was created, where did it come from? It was a question that Arguis himself knew that no answer would ever come to him, not matter how hard or how much he longed or tried, and he did not dare ask.

With a resonating strike that reverberated throughout the darkness that Arguis grew accustomed too, one word was burned into the heart of Arguis, one that he would never forget.

"Rise"

@LokiLeo789 Hmm, that's an idea! Didn't think of it that way at all, I just had an urge to use an adaptation of 'I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' but I guess it does appear to apply more to Vowzra since he is the god of Creation. If you feel that having Invictus say something else to you is more fitting, go for it ;)
Maybe each god hears Invictus say what they want him to say, or he says to each what is most fitting.

In conclusion, go with your gut.

Edit: Sheex Hael, stop with your ninja stuff. I forbid it.

Thank you for the answer, an alright post is on its way.
Indeed. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is, but for anyone with a love for history, Rome, Caesar or just a good series, Conn Iggulden's 'Emperor' series is a great read

Probably gonna look into that. As for posting, I have, well I'm done. Next is editing, and as I look through my post, I basically used your post as a template for my own. What I'm concerned about is the words that Invictus uttered, is that for your character, or is it different for each of us. I just put: "You are become Reality, everything that has existed, exists, and will exist."

Just wanna get an understanding of what to put in my post.

Words carry meaning. In this case "Et Tu, Brute?" carries a strong feeling of betrayal. But if he didn't say it, than it implies he may not have felt as strong a sense of betrayal as we all assume he did, or that at least he didn't vocalize it.

Also, I'm a literature geek. Leave me to my corrections and arguments.

Although I got that wrong, I'm a history guy, really onto mythology and Roman History. (those are not related)

That's Mr. Dr. Professor Patrick, to you!

He is a... star fish of many names.
I'm not entirely sure who is more of a reliable figure when it comes to Caesar's last words: a Dr in Wumbology or one who is not a Dr in Wumbology...or a 15th Century guy with a name like Shakespeare.

I mean, seriously...you couldn't find a better name? -.-

Pretty sure the guy who studied under the genius that is Patrick Star would know more that some 15th century play writer... come back when you get a degree from Dr.Star....good luck with that.

You may have been joking, but I'm a nit-picking nerd and had to say that it's actually "Et tu, brute?"

EDIT: Also, there's not any real evidence those were his last words. That's what Shakespeare said they were, but if you research his life you'll find that William Shakespeare was more concerned with entertainment than accuracy. They might have been his last words, but the only thing we have to go on is that it was commonly believed in Shakespeare's day that he said it, and that throughout history most people have assumed he did.

It was also believed in Shakespeare's day that witches had extra tits they used to suckle demons

*Quickly edits*

I don't know what you talking about, I spelled that right. It could have been “Kai su, teknon?” (“You too, child?”). It wasn't like is was there...
"Ah tu Brutis."

By far my favorite quote of history. The last words of the great Julius Caesar.
Still waiting on that message...

Oh ya, sorry about that, I'll get that to you in a few.

NO!

I personally would much prefer it if we could go through the creation of the universe post-by-post style.

I was going to do something dramatic where the first time Undasis' Kraken rears his ugly head is while the Woman is making the waters.

Besides, it's better for character development and all that stuff. Give us some time to explore the characters we've created, you know?

I agree, gives me the opportunity to really dive into the complex god that Arguis is, in his fun, childish way.
