Led by the insurmountable warlord Snikrat the Scorched, Clan Emberkin has rallied around this alpha rat whom rules with an absolute authority. Seen as a fearsome aspect of both war and fire by his cult-like followers, Snikrat's rule is cemented by force of arms through his own vaunted martial ability and the vast warhost he has assembled to challenge the great deceiver. Further assuring Snikrat's rule is faith, for Snikrat claims and preaches that he has uncovered a great deception at the heart of the Faith of Fire. That the hallowed Burned Prophet ruling over the Realm of Fire and Smoke is nothing more then a heretic and pretender posing as the most holy founder of their faith. Yes-yes, the truth of things is that it is Snikrat himself who is the true reinratination of the Burned Prophet! Whom in his greatness has decreed that the end comes for the pretender residing at the heart of the Cathedral of Fire!
Clan Emberkin has etched out it's domain within the remains of what was once a fireplace store, in archaic text above the entrance to this realm is written the words
The Fireside. Under the clan's governance the land is one wreathed in black smoke and perpetual fires, a dark layer of ash adorns the floor of their abode as rats scamper to and fro amidst the smog. The settlements and encampments of rats which litter the burning realm are built up around the great hearths and fireplaces of the store, the great pyres at their centers kept alight by diligent zealots of the fire. Dominating the store and lit by the greatest flame however is
Firehearth, Snikrat's personal fortress and seat of power from which he rules over the realm. A daunting fortress built from scrap and wood, at
Firehearth's heart sits the Second Flame, a great pyre kept alight perpetually by only Snikrat's most trusted followers in it's challenge to the Cathedral of Fire.
