@Andreyich

Well, i wasnt fully clear on the Ironbacks! You can keep them, but they just seem a bit to slow to be of real use as a drawing Animal. As mobile weapon Platforms they could work through!

Fire faith would have been my pick as well, suiting their slaver/warrior culture more then the Cult of the Creators!

And yeah, if the Corgies have been around a few Khans, that is fine with me!

Thing is, that the Rats simply havent been around the mall for long enough to really domesticate an Riding Animal en-mass! So your clan would most likely be one of the first, as the others simply rely on carriers and carts. Remember that we are also talking about a multi-story mall, with only limted free space! As such, these animals would only have limites use anyway!

@Elgappa Ah, thanks for the clarification! But, it's interesting to have my faction be a pioneer of something lol. But yeah I can see your point of them being slow making them not particularly useful, I'd maybe just have two with them being wise ones and a portable cover/weapons platform as you said lol

Also, you reminded me of a question. How do we have "rat seas," did some part of a floor get flooded with a burst pipe or something? And, wouldn't this all just leak/pour down onto the first floor eventually? And finally, I wanted to also ask if I could have maybe one or two of the Corgis as cataphracts with phone casings and such acting as armour? @Elgappa

The Rat-Sea is on the ground Floor! There are other bodies of waters on the levels above, but neither of them are even close to the size of the Rat-Sea, which takes up most of the Ground Floor and its shops! The Celler below is heavily flooded, yet in its vastness, still a big chunk is passable...(or at least that is what the last reports say, before it was lost)

Skulkers will not help you against the Big-Killa Pack. They are experts at hunting and killing large beasts in combat.

Also, what floor do you think the Pack should be on?

@ClocktowerEchos
Fair point.

How about having this band be led by an outcast member of one of the Merchant Clans (preferably a minor one)? With no way to climb up the order of succession with ease, this Rat figured it'd be a better idea to first carve up a respectable reputation and gain some money through work as a Condottiere leader. When the time comes, he could be a returning war veteran of sorts, looking to systematically tear down his Clan and rise to the top with the help of his personal army of War Rats and considerable wealth gained from his military service. Would that work better?

Like I said before, you need more than just brute strength to get anywhere in Origlian politics. The Ratpublic as a whole is ludicrously wealthy and the second a Merchant Clan hears of someone trying to destroy the entire clan, they are going to throw everything at you until the problem is solved by either bribing you to go away or hiring assassins or mercenaries in greater quantities than you could. Even if you do win out most of the other Clans are not going to take kindly to someone just showing up and inducting themselves into their societal group, especially if said person is an outcast.

I'm not saying you can't play this idea, I'm just trying to say you can't expect to bash down the doors to Origlio and expect things to work out on pure martial skill alone.

This RP is looking like it'll be great. Really loving the setting and clans people are creating! Will be starting work on my own clan shortly.

@ArisenMoon Just a heads up, you forgot to add Knowledge as a stat for your pack.

I'll go with the big scary jungle. And as for knowledge, I didn't put it because the Big-Killa Pack are further behind than everyone else, tribal savages compared to the others. Didn't really think it needed a comparison.

Alright, I have another question. Are there any rooms currently sealed off by doors or other impediments as far as we are aware? And, is there access to the world outside?

Also, here are my write-ups for bees and wasps, I'll try to do something for ants and termites soon.

@Andreyich

There are a lot of Shops, Service rooms and other Parts of the mall, that are either uncolonized, hidden, or simply not accessible for rats! And while most front-stores are hard to miss, some are quite well hidden, or covered chunks that fell from the roof.

There is an access to the world outside, other doors, broken windows and the main entrance (Which is currently guarded by a pack of angry dogs), but why would any rat want to leave the mall? The world outside is big, and scary, filled with brutal Beasts and dangers! Mall is nice, dark and cozy, just how rats like it!

Also great Work with the Write up! Guess what will find its way into page 1?

EDIT:
ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS!

Is there the Demand for a Discord Server? Yes, no, maybe?

I wouldn't mind a discord server. Also, the Khan's CS, I will soon go on to editing out mistakes in my clan sheet.

@ArisenMoon While I'm no GM I feel you may want to put atleast put 1 point in Knowledge, you're not really losing a point as you get +1 to Ferocity and you also get the Half-feral weakness which perfectly represents what you're going for. 0 Knowledge sounds like it'll be real bad for you, at 1 Knowledge it's said you can barely understand concepts such as armour or repairing so I despair at the thought of what state your clan would be in.

Clan Elements: (18/18)
Richness - 2
Military - 4
Population - 3
Control - 4
Knowledge - 2
Ferocity - 3

Clan Weaknesses:
- "Extrraticated by Fire"
"You die-die soon, Great Deceiver!" - Warlord Snikrat the Scorched declaring the Burned Prophet a false prophet
Believing himself to be the true Burned Prophet, Snikrat has led Clan Emberkin to break relations with the Cathedral of Fire whilst declaring the rat posing there as the Burned Prophet to be a great deceiver. Tensions are rising and blood is in the air as a schism within the Faith of Fire threatens to erupt between the Cathedral and the Warlord.

This is a very creative idea. Finally decided to stop lurking and actually dedicate myself to roleplaying for once.

I had an idea of a clan of thief/raider/salvager rats who's territory is filled with junk they've hoarded over the years. My only problem is figuring how their government would work out, especially with how decentralized the clan will be. I had an idea with a dominant pack's leader, referred to as the "Big Boss", holding the most power and influence which he enforces with a combination of his pack, wealth and various other packs that have allied to him. I'd imagine it would be pretty easy for a coalition/alliance of other packs to overthrow him and install a new "Big Boss". The other major packs and factions will however yield some power. Infighting would be super common and they would have somewhat complicated internal politics, with pack relations being a huge element.

@Elgappa Alright! Done!

Wealth:
3. Cutlak trades a lot, but is always having issues with food thanks to a lack of farms and overeliance on hunting.

Military:
4. Cutlak's armies are motivated and well equipped. The distintive 'boom' of a cannon going off is also the rallying cry for great surges of force!

Population:
3. They could probably afford more rats, but experimental weaponry tends to lead to a lot of explosions. Explosions do not agree with the constitutions of living creatures.

Leadership:
3. Unremarkable. The Council does its job, and the rats agree that at least they aren't killing them.

Knowledge:
5. The Council, combined with their boompowder stocks and constant experimentation mean that scientific 'innovation' is a large part of Clan Cutlak.

Ferocity:
4. "RUN-RUN! THEY COME WITH BOOM POWDER AND FLAME! RUN FOR YOUR LIVE-LIVES! THEY COOOOOOME!

Weaknesses:
Skulkers at the Door: Kept at bay by Knights and Cannons, cats are a constant issue to the Cutalak clan. +2

Many-Eyes in the Dark: THEY ARE OUT THERE! SO MANY OF THEM! ALL OF THEM! +2

Extrraticated by Creators:
Whilst they're ameanable enough to fire, thanks to copious amounts of EXPLOSIONS and their tendency of destroying relics in their experiments, anyone who pays more than lipservice to the Creators will find the blatant heresies of the Cutlaks a serious issue. +3
