*Eve could not hide the smile on her face after seeing Reggie cheered up again even if she wanted to. Especially after the head pat.** She then pries herself out of Reggie's arms and floats up so that she is looking over him, widening her eyes, giving the grin, and speaking in an intentionally spoopy voice that suspiciously sounds like mocking Spinel's own.*


"Little Imp? Little Imp? Foolish human, I am the MOTHER OF SIN! I am a great DEMON, AND I WILL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL IF YOU DARE CALL ME SOFT AGAIN!" *She then bursts into giggles -much less concerning giggles- and slowly floats back down to, for once, return Reggie's hug*

"I'm not aloof, you goof. You know that, right? That you're a goof? Because you're a goof. You're Amber levels of goof."

**Things that Eve will never say aloud but you should totally know about #1:

Eve is actually a huge sucker for cuddles and hugs and such, even if she expresses otherwise, especially head pats. Why this latter bit is so is probably due to Talc often expressing affection for others via head pats and hair strokes, often messing up their hair and whatnot, and since she was the first person she met and the closest thing to a mother-figure, there's a greater sense of affection and comfort to it.

I had a horrible scenario.

Eve's Typhogenesis first being triggered around Reggie, who, being human, would begin to suffocate. Eve begins to panic because she has no idea what's happening to him or how to help, and begins to break down when she realises that she can only generate smoke and not manipulate it, meaning she has no idea how to get rid of it and if she can get him out of it in time. After that point she is terrified of it happening again and refuses to hone that ability in fear of hurting other humans, and more importantly, Reggie, again.
