Either way, a lot of the ways I planned on Eve to react felt really out of character. I'm still not too happy with the current idea but you guys have waited long enough and it's the best of the ones I've come up with.
Seriously, do you have any idea how many versions there was of this post? Oh my god, there were so many variations, and a bunch of them sucked. I don't know if this is poop brain or writer's block, but uhg. One was super cute (with Eve actually being more confused than pissed and slightly touched by the 'us' comment and trying to convince Reggie to join, but this flied against Eve's emotional state and established demeanour and I knew I had to ease her into her calm and couldn't have this), another could've ended very badly (Eve's emotions don't cool down and she snaps at Bloodstone, and considering how her hogwash comment went with him, it wouldn't end well, but I know Current Eve is different from Altiverse Eve and anger just doesn't stay with her long enough to do this), one had Eve pull off another nope and just be like 'Screw this, turns out everyone is either batshit insane, untrustworthy, both, or Emerald,' and for a long time this was the one I was going with, but it felt wrong to have Eve leave Reggie there, as in her eyes, she was responsible for his position and he's unsafe there. One even had snap ridiculously at Sodalite to the point where Emerald would seen level-headed and had her her accept Bloodstone's earlier offer to join him because of Sodalite's comment and Reggie's offer, but I knew she'd be too confused by Bloodstone and not close enough to Reggie to pull that off. It was...It was a hard scene to write up. I eventually felt this was the most natural way for Eve to react, and even then it was still hard to write.
As for what this scene is? Tonight, it shall finally be revealed, the extremely delayed Eve post that was way harder to write than it should've been and took way more long than acceptable, but you guys somehow amazingly forgave and was okay with (seriously, holy shit I'm so sorry it took so long, and thank you for waiting you're all amazing anfkndkf I feel like trash for delaying you all so long).

I'm glad I changed Eve's post then because owch if I went with one of the (many) other ideas for how Eve would've reacted, Sodalite would be really hurt. Not that this post has Sodalite get off the hook easy, but still. Feels. I tried to avoid them for your sake, as well as keeping with Eve's character.

I've only had one character who was literally me (other than my very recent exaggerated persona who's meant to be a comedic parody of myself named Shaten, a pun on the Kurdish words 'Sheten' and 'Shaytan', being 'The Crazy Devil' (or Loony Imp, if you will), as my persona is an insect-esque imp), and that was Crina, who was also this sort of alter-ego I put up for myself. Sometimes I'd refuse to be addressed by my real name and would only respond to Crina with this huge attitude change and it was weird. 100% me just being a weird kid and pulling off weird pretend crap, but still. And luckily, though she was incredibly bad as well, she wasn't as bad as the other two. @_______@

And also, I've decided, Altiverse Eve is a Tyrogue, Current Eve is an Archen, and Original Eve was a Hoppip that become a Jumpluff in due time. And Different Eve is more along the lines of Original Eve but not quite a Jumpluff yet. Skiploom, I guess. Maybe even more along the lines of a Quagsire because of all the damns she doesn't give, on top of being slightly stupider and way less cautious than Original Eve..

Super duper OP pieces of crap they were. You don't even know. Especially Candycanella. At least Shadeserenity, OP as she was, was actually CHALLENGED and even screwed over and defeated by the events of her story, but that was only because the antagonists I made were even more OP than she was so that the canon characters could gawk at how small their problems were and how much more adept Shades was than them since none of them could stand a chance. Candycanella was never challenged by anything, anyone, internal or external forces, and if it weren't for her design I'd say that she isn't equal to Shades, but worse than her. Actually, scratch that, Candycanella is worse. Shades was genuinely challenged and had a personality that, though wasn't good, was salvageable. Candy didn't have that going for her.
I need OOC Eve and Emerald in my life. Make them be besties. Or worse, make them a co-"Don't you dare!"-uple. Additionally, make Dork Squad hate each other's guts and Reggie and Eve be Eve and Emerald 2.0, please.
