"No one can escape the fate given to them.
All that remains is the end, where you will all perish.
Eternal greatness exists only within myself.
Sing a song of sorrow in a world where time has vanished."

My 1x1 thread, because I'm a shameless hack.

I'm Still watching. Waiting. Silently. Totally not trying to be as creepy as possible.
@Poi So, you follow him, and I follow you?
Ysran

Looks like the party agreed. Except for the Necromancer. He just seemed to get dragged along. Hm. Poor guy. Guess there really wasn't much else to do. Ysran spent the next 20 minutes or so reading his texts. That's odd. He hadn't forgotten his spells. How strange. He thought those would be the first to go. How strange. He quickly skimmed over each text, just to see if he'd forgotten anything. And... it appeared not. Everything was still burned into his mind.

He turned to the village. Most seemed to be doing their everyday thing. Smithing, farming, et cetera. The boy who said he'd be going with was... somewhere out of eyesight. He didn't quite feel like looking for him. Whatever. He went back to his tomes. Hopefully this hour would go by quick.
Ysran wasn't sure how much time had passed. After healing the demon child, he retreated to commune with the pact holders in th He reported his findings of how the humans in Sanctuary behaved, their culture, and most importantly, a demon living amongst them. The Holders expected most of what he had to say, but the hidden demon was a surprise to them. They expressed their gratitude, and said that they would investigate further into Sanctuary.

Ysran opened his eyes. He was in a clearing, somewhere. He stood up from his kneeling position and looked around. Several candles were set up around him, while a large Occult symbol sat underneath him in the grass. Within a second of looking, the symbol dissolved into nothingness, and the candles went out.

Picking up his candles, he tried to get his bearings. Luckily, a tree had a crude arrow on it. Taking, likely, his own advice, he followed the arrow, and was soon on the road. The main city was to his left, nestled in its usual spot. He headed up, back to the city.
Ysran

Well, that was easy. Getting into the group was easy enough, though his other two problems might need more time. Though now was a time to follow the trail once more. The Axe Man, Alberich, began singing in the most guttural, strange tone he'd ever heard. Best to ignore it. The road was long, but not lonely, and eventually, a small village came into view.

This was... not what he was expecting. A feel of immense dread hung over the village. Several Graves were erected around, and several parting gifts laid on them. Two men of significantly different ages stood at the center of the town, as a large gathering dispersed. One an old man, likely the leader, and a young boy with a cooking pot on his head. Oh boy.

From what he could hear, it sounded like there were search parties sent out to find someone, or multiple someones. Or perhaps an ancient artifact? He'd definitely be into that. The boy with the pot pointed at the group. "What about them? I'm sure they'll do the job for is!"

Ysran walked towards the two. "Well, that depends on who or what you're looking for. Don't worry, I heard you from back there. These ears are for more than just show. I'd be willing to help you, but I don't know about the rest of my party."

@Poi Well, based on my Experience with Donnel ( Or Elvan, in this case) he starts off absolutely pathetic, but eventually turns into one of the most broken characters avaliable, if not the most broken. So I'm all in for recruitment, so long as we're willing to put up with him for a while.
"You two look like you could use an escort. If you'd like, I could go with you. I happen to know more than just healing." This seemed like a good opportunity to to visit the lower village. Did they act differently? Did they have different products? Did they interact differently? Only one way to find out. That, and potentially saving the lives of a couple of kids would do good on his mind.

"My name is Ysran. So, will you have me? I'm heading in that direction anyways, and those demons you just killed my have some more friends."
After tailing the two into the forest, growls could be heard everywhere. Demons. And ones that likely didn't care about his position. Looks like it was time to fight. Or... he could see how these humans would fight back. Yes, that would likely be best. He stuck to the shadows, and watched the fight proceed. A previously mentioned boy he'd seen, Adam, was it, began to transform in front of his very eyes. He looked typical for a demon. Spikes, fangs, even the height. This shout be interesting.

The fight was over fairly quickly. The aforementioned demon boy easily tore apart the three demons that had come out to play. Yet in the process, he took significant damage himself. He reverted to human form, and fainted on the spot.

Ysran walked out of the shadows, clapping slowly, towards the two. "My, my. That was quite the performance. But you don't look so good fella. You should be more careful." He bent down, and placed a hand on his chest.

"Allow me. This may take a minute." A moment passed. Or two. He couldn't tell, either way it seemed like an hour. But either way, the boy began to glow, and his wounds immediately healed. "There we are. All better."
